I had a great experience at Q T Nail Bar! Great location and easy to park. The salon itself was very spacious and clean. They just changed owners, so they are still revamping the space. They even offered me water and snacks the whole time I was there. I got the jelly pedicure. It was very relaxing on the new massage chair and there were even rose petals in my feet soak. Such a cool detail. I just got French tips and Huong did an amazing job on my toes! She was very careful and I love them so much! Van, the owner, did my nails. Staff is very courteous and accommodating. The shop is pretty typical and i loved the seemingly 100's of nail color choices. First my pedicure. It was the most painful I've ever had. The technician dug into my little piggies relentlessly. Despite my constant wincing and verbal requests for her to be more gentle, it continued. *sad face* I paid for callous remover but was dissatisfied with the results. I probably won't get pedicures here again. Now my acrylic refill. I was pleasantly surprised that my tech, Jennifer, gave me the exact shape that i like. That almost never happens on a first visit. Worst experience ever. Guy was obviously in a bad mood. He kept flipping my hand over very rough like he was irritated. It took him 2 hours (I was on my lunch break I may add) it was just a pink and white fill. They ended up thick and uneven. Just got a mani, pedi and my eyebrows done! Was so very impressed with the job done by Cindy. She was really thorough with my cuticle before painting and her massages were amazing! I'm also pretty picky about who I go to for my eyebrows because I'm always worried it would it would turn out too thin. Since she also did my friend's eyebrows, I decided to take a chance on Cindy. She did a really good job in keeping my shape. The tip was well deserved and I will definitely be requesting her again. There was another technician, Ly, who gave me my French manicure and left me pretty satisfied! She asked me what I wanted for my design and I told her to surprise me. Needless to say, it was a lovely surprise. The shop is probably the cleanest nail shop I've been to. You don't have the overwhelming smell of acetone when you walk in, which is a big plus if you're in for a long visit. Everything looks like it's in pristine condition, so I'm guessing they're pretty new. I LOVE that the pedi area is separate of the mani area at the front, gives you some privacy to sit back and relax when you're getting your pedis done. This was not my first trip to this spa, when I went last October. In the past I have received awesome pedicures, manicure and nail service. In October I had a full set with purple powder and flower design done, it was a little more expensive than I thought, but the work was beautiful. So after three weeks I had the nails removed at another nail salon and they had a very difficult time getting the nails off. If was difficult because my personal nail beds had been thinned out or shaved down too far and the acrylic kept my natural nails from healing. My nails looked so horrible, it was shocking and hard to process. I spent the next three months rehabbing my nails, with olive oil and nail strengthener, before my nails thicken back up and would grow. Be careful what the nail tech is doing and speak up if you feel uncomfortable. I dismissed the small discomfort I felt when she skimmed my nails, because it is part of the process, but she was not supposed to thin my nail out, the nails at the other shop said it was not necessary. read more

I have been coming to this salon for about 4 years. About few months ago, they hired a new manager. I'm not sure exactly what is going on, but the entire staff has left with the exception of Cindy. The last time I went in for a shellac manicure, I was told it would only be a few minutes. A few minutes turned into an hour. One of their new manicurist finally got to me and she did a poor job. I have not been impressed with the new manager or staff. If you should decide to visit this establishment, make sure you ask for Cindy. I would give Cindy all 5 stars if this rating was based on her service, but this new manager and staff are horrible. If Cindy leaves, I will be finding a new nail shop, she is the only reason why I return. read more

I came into this establishment on Monday to get a full set, now as far as nails go, I will NEVER return here! The lady did an absolute terrible job and I was told since I was unhappy to come back the next morning, I asked what time they opened and if coming at that time was good and she said yes. I come the next morning right at opening and the lady proceeds to tell me that no one will be there until later to fix my nails.. I began to become irritated because I was told to come back at that time and then no one was there to even fix them. I basically had to argue with the lady there and then some lady on the phone to get a refund and was told to come back later that day and then told to come back the next day. There was so much miscommunication but I was finally able to go in today and get my refund but not before the lady was trying to take off my current nails which were not the original ones they put on because I had told the other lady I was going to go somewhere else to get them fixed. The salon is very clean. The staff is very friendly. They provide refreshments while you wait. They also give you coupons to use on your next visit. I've had my nails done there several times, and I've loved them every time. My only suggestion is to improve their nail design options. They don't really deal with nail art, so most of their designs are outdated. In today's fashion, nail art is booming, so it's something they may want to consider. Really bad experience! Walked in and no greeting from the employees at all. So finally a lady asked and I told her full set and pedicure. That was it from her. I stood there looking crazy and finally she told me to go sit down. Went to go sat down at the pedicure seat and the lady filled with cold water, so I asked for warm and blazed it with hot. I have my mani and pedi done here bi-weekly. Mary is a pro and gives me the most beautiful gel American manicure. Lasts for two weeks plus. I used to go to a place in Rice Village but they just don't do near the beautiful job as the ladies at QT. Always comfortable and very clean. Have been coming here for years and loved it but recently they have changed management and this place has completely changed. I've come here a few times with this new management and every time has been bad. The first time I came they did my nails horribly. The next time I came in about 1pm and the place was completely empty. I asked for a nail take off and new set. My mom just wanted a pedicure. We were told the person she requested for her pedicure would be 10 minutes as she was doing a massage and the person who was gonna do my nails would be 10 minutes as we'll since she left to go shopping since they had no customers. 30 minutes later we were still waiting. We asked how much longer and they said 5 minutes. Another 30 minutes went by and we were still waiting. At this point we decided to leave as I had to pick up my son from school. As we're leaving the lady who was doing a massage comes from one of the massage rooms without a client saying she was ready to do the pedicure. We didn't have the time to do a pedicure at this point so we left. For some reason I decided to come back again and give them another chance. That was a bad idea. I asked for a refill and needed to have a nail fixed since it was lifting along with a pedicure. Instead of fixing my nail the lady just put acrylic over it and when I told her it need to be removed and redone (I was willing to pay the extra charge to have it fixed) she said no she did fix it and it was strong my nail underneath was why it looked so bad. I had them remove it and fix it but they were not happy about it at all. This was definitely the last straw for me. If you do decide to to come here I hope you get better service than I did. read more

I've been coming here for about a year or so. I get my nails done every once in a while. I came in late February around 5:30 and Tracey did a horrible job on my nails. She did my sisters pedicure as well, and within a three days her nails were already chipping off. I had asked for coffin shaped and they didn't look like the shape I wanted, she also left them extremely too thick. Since there were only 2 people working that day she was rushing and left them horrible. I gave them another try and went back about a week and a half ago for my refill and pedicure. I was attended by Susan and Cindy, they did an amazing job. Unfortunately, my nail broke within a week, I just went back and I was attended by Tracey once again and she left my nail too thick I asked her to make it a bit thinner and she did. However I was charged $5 to fix a broken nail when I had just gotten them done a week and a half ago. I will not be coming here for my nails anymore. read more

I have been going here for a year and it is the Best Nail Spa I have ever experienced and that is saying a lot! They are so genuinely friendly and the services are all great. I have had Underarm and bikini waxes along with my my mani/pedi and they are fabulous and take the time to pamper. They offer cold beverages and the salon is very clean and has excellent decor.
