I got the worst manicure from the nicest person ‍. I had a full set that I wanted soaked off and requested a shellac manicure. The procedure to take the nails off was pretty standard and not painful. I wasn't expecting to have a painful manicure. Almost all of my nails hurt at the cuticle area from her begin a bit rough and cutting too much and too deep. One cuticle was bleeding excessively and neither her nor I could understand why ‍. She was very apologetic. Non the less. I will not be going back! They get one star for staying open past 7pm and one star for having tables with the uv light built into them. read more

My friend and I had an appt for pedicures uesterday. This was the first time we have been to LA Nails. We chose this place mainly because it's open late on a Saturday night. I didn't check the reviews before going, and now I wish I had. We are both very disappointed with our experience . Not only did they NOT do a good job, they were NOT friendly and wanted to charge more for every little thing. The woman who did my pedicure said she would smooth my heels and the bottoms of my feet for an additional $5, which I agreed to pay. Mind you my feet were not in that bad of shape (I use a pumice stone and moisturizer pretty regularly). She didn't file any of my toenails after trimming them so they are sharp on the corners. And she didn't paint the top edge of the toenails so they will chip much sooner! My friend was sitting across from me and said that NOTHING came off my feet the entire time she used the grater/microplane on my feet. It didn't remove any dead skin! Which I totally believe because my feet do not feel any softer. To top it off, the staff was rude. That's three strikes for this place! We will not be going back and do not recommend this place to anyone else. I hope the employees read the reviews and work on their customer service. read more

Bad experience, considering that this was the only place open past 8pm on a weekday and I was in a rush I went ahead and came to this shop inside Willowbrook mall. Got a long full set and the lady that first helped me was nice but my nails LIFTED and POPPED OFF 2 DAYS LATER. I went back and greeted the young lady at the front desk and I told her I just got them done 2 days ago and if I can get a nail fix, she said "okay, it's FREE since it is still within our guarantee". I waited 20 minutes to be helped and I sit down in the chair with another woman that was not the one who originally did my set. I told her I just needed a nail fix and she said it was $15 in a serious manner. I went to LA Nails for valentines day i called the night before and ask them do i need to make a reservation if i will be coming at 10am?! and the lady who answered the phone told me nope just come in. I showed up at 10:00am and when i arrived at LA Nails the lady at the front desk told me they wouldn't have any openings till 12:00 due too a wedding party that was being taken care of,i proceeded to tell her that i called the night before and was told no reservation was needed. She said well we can't take you till 12 that really upset me due to the fact that it was valentines day and i had a whole day planned. I politely walked away from the salon and spoke with my husband about the situation and he told me to go back and see if i could speak with someone else and indeed someone else was at the front this time,as i was speaking with her the other lady who told me earlier there was no way she could get me in till 12 was there and i told the lady in which i was speaking to now that i was told by this lady that she couldn't fit me in and when i did the lady who i spoke with raised her voice at me and i was literally taken back and highly upset. I didn't raise my voice with her at all because i believe in being a civil while speaking regarding issues at hand. We'll after that the lady that was talking to me now took me back because i think she seen the shock look on my face I was very grateful that she did take me back BUT, as the service proceeded the only reason she did so was because she thought i would cause a seen due to how the other lady spoke to me. Been going here over 5 years and today had the worse experience ever! Not sure if my nail tech was mentally going through something but she went off because I was late. It has been raining all morning, traffic lights out, school buses running late. I will never go there again. I do not tolerate rude behavior. You should know how to control your emotions at work. We all go through something but her behavior was simply disrespectful. You should have simply taken off, if you can't handle a days work. I travel from Spring (20-25 mins away) to get my nails done only by her and it bothered me so that the gentleman that was walking out the nail salon later stopped me and ask me what was going on with her. I text her and communicated with her the entire time I was running late, but that didn't matter. I have been there several of times and she is still working with a customer. I waited with no problem, no animosity. I am not going to bash her name but if the owner tolerates that behavior, then they will not get my business. As she was taken off my polish she was crying and dropping tears on my hand. I made an appointment for a pedi and refill and she said she only had time for refill. Also, stated to not make any other appointments just walk in and hopefully she won't have anyone and she can do me right then. I went to get my eyebrows done at this nail salon. The wait was short but the overall experience was not what I was expecting. They reuse what is like a eye brown pen if you want to call it that and it irritated my skin to the point that I broke out all over my eye browns and it swelled up. The lady noticed when I payed and dropped my card because of how bad it looked. I had to do a walk of shame out of the mall because everyone was looking at my eyebrows. I even considered going to see a doctor because I thought maybe it could be infected. After about 2-3 days my eyebrows returned to normal and it looked okay. I would consider going somewhere else if its a last minute thing and you have to be somewhere important because your eyebrows might end up looking very bad for a few days before looking good. read more
