How this place has such a high rating, I'm not sure. It had NOTHING to do with the lady who did my nails. I went in for a basic mani/pedi and the pedicure was horrible. Cuticle trimming wasn't a trim, it was ripping. She didn't close the toll hardly at all and instead ripped the skin off which hurt SO BAD. When I said ow the lady said sorry and just stopped clipping instead of doing it properly. My pedicure lasted a total of 17 minutes, most of the time was spent painting. She hardly scrubbed my feet even though, ya know, the whole point of a pedicure is to get softer feet. Yeah my toes were painted fine but I could have done that myself AND the polish was old and thick. I came to get a decent pedicure, scrubbed feet, and cuticles clipped. I'll have to go somewhere else to get my pedicure redone. Very disappointed with this place. The other ladies seemed nice and good at their job from what I saw. My lady didn't have a name tag otherwise I'd tell y'all who NOT to ask for. Sorry to the owner but I'd never come back because of the horrible customer service. read more

I really tried to give this nail shop a try after reading the reviews and recently moving into the area. Before I ascribed, I called ahead to make sure there was no wait and they knew what I wanted. The lady said they were available, so I headed that way. It was pretty dead, and technicians were eager to make money. Two weeks ago I got a full set with shellac and pedi done at Fancy Nails (by the way amazing), and my set is still looking fresh, so I wanted a manicure and color change with a deluxe pedicure. The lady started my pedicure by removing the nail polish and clipping my toe nails. She proceeded to clean under my nails, but with the wrong tool. She ended up stabbing my big toe underneath my nail bed, and instead of sanitizing it with alcohol she just dipped my foot in the water twice and continued asking me about what color I wanted. At this point, I didn't want her doing my pedicure and decided to leave. I should not be aware and knowledgeable of a nail techs' process and procedures more than them. My toe hurts, and it still bleeding. I'm rating them a two because they were still clean and in a good area, but the quality and skills of just the basic nail care is not up to par. read more

Not the best service. It was very rushed. Didn't ask what shape I wanted my nails and made them so square and pointy corners. I didn't get to wash my hands after the filing down so my nails feels bumpy. They just painted my nails like that. I'm not happy with the way they turned out. Went here this past Saturday and called ahead to make sure they could take me and my boyfriend for pedicures. They told us to come at 3pm. Arrived at 3:07 and didn't have to wait too long before being seated. Make sure you make an appointment or call ahead of time per the sign up front. We got the spa pedicures which was $30. Comes with foot scrub and hot towels. I enjoyed my pedicure, my cosmetologist gave me the best foot massage and trimmed up my toes really well. The only thing I will say is that they don't spend a lot of time removing the dead skin from the bottom of your feet but it's not too big of a deal. If you really wanted them to put extra work on doing that I'm sure you could request it. The pedicures were quick. We left before 4pm. Great little polite shop to check out if you want something quick but also gets the job done. Will definitely be visiting again. read more

I went in here because it was close to work and I am so glad I did. This was the fastest refill I've ever had (30 mins) and probably one of the best. My nails look better than they have in a long time. She cut them down, filled them, shaped them in 30 mins! I was so impressed I got a pedicure too. Both I had done with shellac (and had shellac from before) and it was $55 total for both pedi and refill. No extra charges for taking the shellac off or reapplying. I didn't get a fancy pedicure with wax and towels but I am so impressed with the job she did. I have had ingrown nails in the past and have some tissue build up on the sides of my big toe and she got it all out without me having to ask. I am a fan!!!! This will be my go to place from here on out. I can't even explain how impressed I am. How do other places charge $55 for just a pedi and don't do half the job? I will be returning. I should have known how good they were by the amount of people willing to wait. 5 stars. If you are looking for a 30 min massage....prob not your best option. Just moved to the area and was in need of a thorough Pedicure. I trusted you girls reviews and I was definitely surprised that you all were right! This place is awesome (so far). My daughter and I received pedicures, she got the regular kids pedi from Michelle and I got the deluxe from Kathy. Both awesome jobs, no cuts, no digging till blood, etc. BUT all the unnecessary foolishness like the blue cooling jel and hot stone massage included in the deluxe pedi I won't be paying for again. The scrub and paraffin wax was cool though. I will definitely be back to see how they do on my nails. Prices were very affordable and similar to what I'm used to in Atlanta so they get a thumbs up in my book. My only issues are that all the chairs didn't work for the massage, the pedicure stoop where you rest your feet had NO cushion and was very uncomfortable and during the pedicure when I asked what the purpose of the blue cooling jel was she said she didn't know so... yea pointless and a waste of $10 but worth the try for the awesome turnout. read more

I've been searching for a nail salon that could do an ombré full set at a reasonable price and I've finally found a place. Nails Couture is hands down the most affordable nail shop in Houston. Upon arrival, I was seated right away and had Amy as my nail technician. She took her time and made sure I was happy with my nails. She executed exactly what I had desired. Without a doubt, I would certainly recommend Amy to any future customer. Nails Couture is a no-frills shop, which I don't mind since I am paying a lot less than other places. Nonetheless, driving 50 minutes from home was definitely worth the visit. read more

The first time I ever came here was on a Weds at about 6:00pm and they were so welcoming. Kathy did my shellac manicure & did a really good job! I am really picky when it comes to my cuticles yet she did a great job without me having to say anything! Also, my shellac mani lasted me 3 weeks! Wow!! The second time was not so pleasant as someone else did my shellac mani, however I knew not to go back to her!! I'd like to actually give this place another shot. I've been looking for a monthly mother-daughter nail salon and I took my mom here this past weekend. No doubt that the staff is super friendly. Hannah did an awesome job with my jell-manicure and I had a different lady work on my feet. I do have two concerns, thus far. One, I feel like my feet and/or nails weren't as "cleaned" as other places but that can depend on just the person I went to. Second, after my foot spa, I had a 15min wait before anyone noticed that I wasn't being helped. At that point, my mom was almost done, so she had to wait for me to finish. This defeated the purpose of being together for the most part of getting our nails done. Like I said, I'd like to give this place another shot. After trying two ladies in this shop when tina wasn't here, I will no longer be returning. I always went to tina she was the best in the shop. She is no longer there anymore one of the ladies said she won't be returning. I'm so sad!! The other ladies rush, very sloppy work and get mad when you tell them what you want as far as shape(which is the most important part RIGHT) and I'm a paying customer I should get what I want. This place is terrible. The moment I walked in and spoke to the guy at the front (which I think was the owner), it already went off to a bad start. First of all, I'm Vietnamese and was aware that the employees are Vietnamese as well. Although I'm not FLUENT in Vietnamese, I still wanted to communicate in that language to make it easier on them. I told them that I was here for a pedicure. While I was picking my nail polish color, I overheard the guy talk to a coworker, making fun of my "accent." That was completely uncalled for and totally unprofessional. I let it slide because I had a rough day at work and didn't want to bother dealing with it. The lady who did my pedicure was nice but I could tell she was rushing it. When she put on my sandals, she messed up the paint but fixed it and it looked fine from afar. She sat me at the table to dry my toes. I probably sat there for like 15 minutes and no one even bothered checking on me. Horrible. I just walked to the front, paid and left. Now in terms of longevity and quality of the work: awful. My polish started chipping after just three days. Usually pedicures last two weeks for me. On top of that, when I took a closer look at the one toe she fixed, it was lumpy and uneven. I'm so unhappy with the service and unprofessionalism here, I will NEVER come back!! read more

First time going here after reading reviews, and I love it!! I came in and they took me right away. Friendly, small environment, sometimes even a bit quiet. I asked for a full set with color powder and she did an amazing job!! She took time filing, drilling, filling, and even nailed the shape without me having to explain too much. I want to like this place. The first time I went to this salon, they did a great job. The shellac stayed on for weeks without chipping. I was really impressed as that was my first time ever getting a shellac manicure. The 2nd time I went was around Christmas for another shellac manicure. This time, the tech filed down my nails so much that my fingertips were sore since I barely had nails left! She also snipped the skin under one of my nails and it stung for a few days after! That nail ended up breaking right afterwards too. Also, another tech cut my sister and made her bleed while she was trimming her cuticles. Another 2 of my nails chipped/broke the next day; my nails felt paper thin since she filed my nails down so much. One cracked down the middle so far that it's taken til now (almost 2 months later) for it to fully grow back. The shellac ended up chipping at the same time and I was able to easily peel it all off like stickers! The polish seemed cheap or the person that did my nails didn't do it correctly. I was so mad and frustrated. My nails were a hot mess. I really wish that I could've gotten my money back and will most likely not be coming back any time soon. read more

I went in to treat my daughter and granddaughter to a deluxe pedicure and a full set of nails. The deluxe pedicure was rushed definitely not worth the $45.00. I've been regular customer for years because they do an outstanding job and the price is not outrageous. They are able to do all kinds of nails types and designs that are artistic and beautiful. And if something does happen (rarely) they fix it cheerfully and immediately usually with out a charge. The shop offers massage and other services as well. Amy and Michelle are the gals to request. Their work is 100% always and they go the extra mile. On a negative note I had a simple toe nail color change today and Tee did the worst. Imagine my 5 year old daughter doing the painting. She painted the top of the nail and left the sides exposed. I asked her to fill them in and she painted on the skin at which time she said that next time I should get pedicure. As if it was my fault for the mess she was making. End result looked choppy from all the polish remover she used to correct. Her whole image looks sloppy and lazy. I love that they always have ample staff available. No long wait times. I'm able to get a regular mani-pedi within an hour on my lunch break. Reasonable prices. Their nail shellac only lasted me a few days the one time I got it, however I'm in healthcare and constantly wash/sanitize my hands (not sure if that's a factor). Overall great salon. read more

Definitely one of my favorite Nail Salons in the Jersey village area! I always leave happy!! Steven does a great job but when he's busy the ladies do a great job too. They are a reasonably priced, which is the hospitality industry appearance is key. Honestly I don't put reviews online for places I love to go to, who wants the crowds ?? Not me!!!
