I won't be going back. I said "ouch" three times while she was using the nail file to trim my toenails because it hurt. The fourth time, I finally asked, "Are you filing my toe or my nail?" I went in for the special pedicure, but after an hour and 10 minutes of what was still just a basic pedicure and polish, I was over sitting there. I asked her to switch me to the basic pedicure after she painted my nails. Also, Shellac is an extra $25, which seemed really high compared to other salons. I really LOVE this Nail Shop. This was the first Nail Shop, I was introduced to by my husband when, I moved to Houston back in October of 2023. The entire staff is amazing all the way down to the kids. Kathy is my favorite Nail Tech and Nancy is the BOMB.COM when it comes to doing my Pedicure. From the outside, this place looks like it could be cute and 2025ish but once inside, the establishment looks old, dirty, and dusty. The nail equipment looks like it has been used over and over again and the lead nail tech stayed on the phone taking a personal call the whole time I was there simply ignoring me. I originally went In for a pedicure and acrylic nail removal. The lady who greeted me insisted for me to get a manicure as well just for them to buff my nails, and put top coat and on top of that put lotion on my hands BEFORE dusting off the acrylic dust from the removal.... So I had lotion and acrylic dust being rubbed all on my hands and arms as the "massage." She didn't even get underneath my nails to clean them... The lady who did my pedicure left my toes looking like if a 10yr old did them. polish was all over my cuticles. I asked for square shape and I got crooked nails, they were not cut square. I tried addressing it multiple times along with the bump on my nails from excessive paint buildup in which she said it was just my nails.... I made an appointment for 1 pm and still had to wait 45 minutes, so don't bother making an appointment. I was offered something to drink. While I was paying I noticed a little piece of lint stuck in the clear coat and so she added that snowflake with no additional charge. Went here recently with my mother they seemed really nice. I told them what I wanted and they did not listen to what I was telling them. They were too busy trying to upsell my mom. I wanted short, duck nails (so wide at the tip) they did nothing even close to that. If they didn't know how to do it, they should of told me and I would of changed what to get done. I paid to get tortured. I went in to remove my acrylics/ powder nails and repaint my toes. I've been here before and I was satisfied with the lady who did them previously. Today I had Mimi do my nails. This was the worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done. She aggressively and painfully yanked my nails off. I never was offered to have them soaked in acetone or soapy water.I proceeded to tell her she was hurting me and was stabbing my natural nail bed with the pliers she had. She then got a acrylic nail and scraped it in between my nail bed and the false nail to rip it off. I cannot believe I paid to get tortured. She was extremely aggressive and rude. She told me that I shouldn't paint my natural nails and insisted i get acrylic nails instead. I told her multiple times that I didn't want any false nails. So when my shellac came out bubbling she said it was basically my fault because I was hurting too much and didn't allow her to sand it down. She painted my toes at her desk and asked me to place both my feet on her lap and I told her I couldn't because my legs were too short. She seemed annoyed with that. I don't understand how she thought that was going to be comfortable on my end when there was a whole desk in between us. There is no menu anywhere even when I asked for one. DO NOT GO HERE. First off, I got my nails done, new set and a pedicure. Within 2 days 1 mail had popped off and almost all of them started lifting. I waited 2 more days and another 2 nails popped off. Worst mail job I've ever had. On top of that, she had cut almost all of my cuticles with the grinder and by the end of it my fingers were in pain. So after a couple days I went back to have them fixed, told the lady what happened and how upset I was and she said she'd take care of me and give me a new set. After she was done I asked how much it was going to be and she said $65!!! FULL PRICE?! I was appalled. I said you saw my nails previously and you're not going to discount this at all? She said no why would she? There wasn't a manager available to speak to and I was very upset. Ended up paying full price and now my nails are sloppy, lifting and 2 have already popped off again, 3 days later. I did have to wait 20 minutes but I they did acknowledge me a few times so I'm very understanding that I came at a busy time. I was in there for over 2hrs getting a mani/pedi only to walk away with poor quality work. After several corrections, and redo's, I gave up and just left. My shellac polish is not neat on my fingernails ... The nail tech didn't take the time to clean around the cuticles after applying the polish and then got upset when I asked her to please clean it up. I'm not one to complain or post negative about a business, but this was by far the worst mani/pedi I've ever received. I was very hesitant to pay, but because they did try to fix and correct my issues, I felt obligated. The environment is cool, clean and relaxing. All the people are very nice, smiling at you and giving you a warm welcome. I especially love MiMi. She's very personable and a "people pleaser."
