I've been to Nail bar many times over the years! I usually leave very satisfied but this last visit has left me realizing I need to go elsewhere. The place needs a heavy cleaning, looks tired. Plus my nails have never broken like this after a dip. The bowl with the solution they soak my nails in was dirty and left stains on my fingers. Plus I got a rash from the soak on my little finger. I called and was able to get an appointment the same day. I was 20 minutes early for my appointment, but didn't have to wait. My services were Acrylic overlay soak-off and I went with their Apres nails.. They are one of the few that offer Apres nails in the area! My nails look and feel great.. Not sore from the drill like acrylic and looks and feel more natural. My nail tech was very patient and seasoned.. Her attitude was contagious as she was happy and smiling and kept the conversing light. I enjoyed my visit and will return. read more

Lux Pedicure was everything I wanted. Began with a soak, thorough exfoliating scrub, moisturizing massage, comforting hot towels, and beautiful pedicure to finish the process. I set an appt for me and my mom to get mani/pedis on a Saturday. Even though it was busy the staff gave us 5 star service and did not rush us out. I've waited a week now to post this review to allow Nail Bar & Co time to respond to the email that I sent them about my $70 (including tip) nail experience on Friday evening, July 12th. I left the Harbor Town location extremely disappointed in the luxury nail experience that I didn't receive. I booked a Dip & Tip appointment. Which in the end looked like store press on nails vs luxury nails crafted to my unique hands. Every last nail is the same width, as if the tips used were not selected individually to match my nail size. I was so disappointed in how my nails looked that I wanted to soak them off as soon as I stepped into my car. The shape of my nails were terrible. I requested square-round, but received square-square. I know that most would say "why not express your dissatisfaction while there." Well, its very awkward to do with people staring, listening and whispering whenever you speak a word in here. So I opted to send a private email to Nail Bar about my experience. I was also confused by the fact that I was charged $10 for "length" when the purpose of getting Dip with TIPS is to add length. Is the cost of the length not built into the $55 price of adding tips to a dip service? I visited four weeks ago and got Dip with Tips and was charged $5 extra for the coffin shape. If I knew I was going to be charged $10 extra for a standard nail shape I would've gotten coffin shaped nails. They probably would've turned out better than the disappointing shape I received. The first two times I came for Dip & Tip service, I had great experiences - done by the same tech. Absolutely loved my nails and the work was great. The last two times that tech was not been available to do my services, and my nails were subpar for the money spent. This particular visit topped the bar on quality received compared to the price paid. I hoped that my feedback would've been received well and understood. I just expect the price paid for a service to match the end product received. As of Monday morning, July 22nd, I still have not received a response from Nail Bar. So much for customer service and valuing all feedback. read more

This place is so arrogant and ridiculous. I've tried to go here a couple of times, and I am always met with attitude. They can't be told that they are wrong. And forget about asking what you want because they just will do it their way anyways. Most recently I tried to go in to have some simple jewels glued on that had fallen off of my nails that I had done at a salon out of town, it was my bachelorette weekend and I just wanted to have my nails fixed, would've taken them about 3 minutes and they probably would've charged me $50 for the jewels, but they said that they "won't work on anyone else's work". Absolutely ridiculous. Don't give them your business unless you want to be treated stupid the entire time! :) read more

My experience at Nail Bar & Co. in Harbor Town was a very pleasant one. The salon was really packed for a Friday evening but the staff did their best to accommodate every patron. Amy was my tech and her dry-humor and perfectly timed wit made my time even better. She has a beautiful spirit. On top of that, she did an awesome job on my nails, considering she had so many people requesting her work at the same time. I work nearby so this will be my new after-work treat. P.S. Don't waste your time on this business!!! My maid of honor tried to book a bridal party with them before my wedding. Let me just start with saying their party booking process is SO complicated and not worth the time. We tried to book a week in advance but because we didn't put a deposit down (because they wouldn't call us back or reply to email) our booking wasn't honored. I have never had to put a deposit down for a nail place. Harley was SO rude and short to my maid of honor every time they spoke on the phone. Harley ended up telling her that she didn't even need our business. I have no idea how this or the germantown nail bars are still open with this TERRIBLE of customer service and attitude. You should not work with people or customer service if you can't be kind!!!!!!! We took our $$$ (8 women) party else where and had the best experience! The lady who did my pedicure was very nice BUT she never told me that she would t do my manicure and then I was there sitting in the bar waiting for someone for more than 20 minutes. This is my favorite place on the planet, first and foremost. The staff feels like family. When I walk in I am greeted by name and asked if I want a drink. I highly recommend the mango mimosa. When I get a pedi, I always go for the CBD pedi. They go to town on my toes. They get every corner and cuticle until they are perfect. For nails I get dip, there are a few times Nick has done a design and he is amazing. I'll never get my nails done anywhere else. Be sure to schedule an appointment ahead of time!!! read more

This was the worst nail job ever. I was there 4 hrs for a soak off, gel color and pedi. It took hrs to get the complimentary drink. And now the color is super faded. Paid $60 for it. I got my nails done here exactly a week ago and my dip manicure is already starting to come up at my cuticles and starting to catch on my hair. I paid $70which I'm happy to do if the manicure will be lasting, but based on what's already happening, it clearly wasn't worth it. It's disappointing they are one of the few places in town that will do nail art, but the tech the had do mine clearly didn't really have the skills. It was messy as soon as I left the salon and one nail had an air bubble in it. My nails look ridiculous and they charge way too much for the quality of service they offer. UPDATE: My thumb nail completely popped off a week and two days after getting them done. Seriously the worst manicure I have ever had done in my entire life. DO NOT GO HERE. I've been looking forward to my visit to this nail salon based on their Instagram pictures! They do super cool art detail (for an additional cost) unlike anything I've seen in Memphis. I chose a watercolor art design on my nails and Jake was my manicurist. He did a wonderful job and I will definitely return. The salon is very clean and the staff really seems to get along and are fun and upbeat. I especially appreciate their ability to speak and understand English so communication is a breeze.
