Full almond gel set done in 45 minutes. Only a 20 minute wait time for walking in on a Friday. I paid $62. Employees were friendly and knew a lot of customers by name. Probably the best set I have ever gotten. Dinners, Drive Ins and Dives was on the TV. I would highly recommend. read more

Terrible. they offer the service of doing French but no one here knows how to do it. then they took over 20 minutes once sitting me down in the pedicure chair to even get someone over while it's over 10 people in the back and walking around. people coming in after me with no appointments were getting serviced before me, completely unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

I had to think long and hard about writing this review because this is overall a good shop. However, they don't believe in life happening. I had an appointment but had a work emergency and forgot all about the appointment. Once I thought about it, the shop was closed. I tried calling the next day to apologize, but the call went straight to voicemail. it took me a few weeks to finally realize I had been blocked. One missed appointment due to no fault of my own, BLOCKED! Once I realized I was blocked I called from another number to make an appointment to return. I ve been going to this location for over 10 years. Always for hand and nail services. Today I decided to get a pedicure while my daughter got her nails done .Never again. Immediately after the pedicure while letting the police dry I notice my heels looking the same way I walked in. When I bought it to the nail tech 's attention she responded I used a foot scrub just put on Vaseline. I was basically charged 45 dollars for a polish change and some hot stones rubbed on my leg. These guys are great! They remember you when you've cone around a few times and they are hilarious! My appointments always feel like a meeting with old friends. They give amazing pedis and my feel feel as smooth as a baby's bottom when I leave here. They do great pedis for men too! My husband has to get a pedi here Everytime we come into town. My Kenny gripe is the additional 4% convenience fee that they charge on all services over $60 bucks. I know they do it to cover the cost of their credit card machine, but I feel as a biz owner that is a cost that you should just eat. If you spend between $1-$27 the fee is $1, if you spend $28-$41 the fee is $2, and from $42-$60 the fee is $3 extra. It's not enough to make me leave here but it's definitely worth taking away one star. read more

I've been going here probably for a decade off and on. I always tip well. They don't know my name. There is one tech who is very nice and does a great job. Her name is Emily. Emily is fantastic. Unfortunately I never get her anymore. I always get this one lady who is super unpleasant to me, but seems to be pretty nice to other people. I'm not sure why. My gel nails are always wrapped by one of their children. My pedicure consisted of sitting in the chair and soaking and then getting my nails clipped and polished. There was no kind of scrub or massage or anything that set this apart from what I could do at home. This woman doesn't speak or smile-at me- though she plays around with the staff. She is very short and bossy. She literally yanked off my engagement ring after my manicure before the lotion instead of asking me to remove it. No one should EVER touch another woman's ring without asking. I thought that was extremely unprofessional and it is the main reason I decided to finally write a review. I've seen people get great service here. I've seen this woman laugh and smile at other customers. This is not the experience I have had. My dip is bumpy and thick. I've decided I can go spend $80 somewhere else and not feel terrible about it like I do when I leave this place. read more

I've been to LOTS of nail salons in Memphis, and Splendid Nails is THE BEST, hands down! The entire staff is super friendly and make you feel right at home. Andy is my guy! I love this place! Wonderful, quality service always, and the best employees. Somehow they remember me and my sister always. I didn't come here for like 2 years, and when I came back in they remembered who I was and details about my life. I see them remember other customers too and ask about their lives! I was very disappointed in this place. You could tell the regulars because they were really nice to them, but they weren't to friendly to the newbies like me... I feel like I need a pedicure and I just left the place, feet not smooth at all, and polish all over my toes.... Massage felt good but I would not come back just for that. :( read more

I don't typically post. I just have to say how disappointed I was with my service here today. I spent $80 and left an undeserved $5 tip. I just wanted to feel pretty and pampered for my birthday but the young lady that did my nails was distracted and rushed. She cut my toe with the file and ran her mouth thru my leg massage rushing the process. She skipped several steps of the pedicure. She wrapped hot towels on my feet and then left me for almost 10 mins so the towels went cold and uncomfortable. When it was time for the manicure, she hacked up my cuticles while they were dry without putting cuticle oil, and trimmed the cuticles without looking at my fingers. She was talking to her coworkers and other customers instead of focusing on me the paying customer. Again, she skipped several steps of the manicure process. I just hope I don't get an infection on my toe from the cut with the file and I hope I don't get an infection on my finger from where she over trimmed my cuticle. The cuticle is now red and throbbing. I will never return to this Nail salon. read more
