Now that we live so far away its hard to enjoy Nadia Cakes, so we still try to stop by when we visit. NOW I found out they are on Gold Belly and we were able to order and have them shipped. They were stellar and tasted just like we remembered. It was such a great birthday present for my wife. So lets face it Palmdale has very few bakeries to choose from so my sons bday I decided to come here. Two weeks in advance and asked if they can make me a simply birthday cake, vanilla with maybe some strawberries on the top and a happy birthday on it, thats it. They said they could but nothing over a 6" cake becasue they where busy with an upcoming wedding, ok thats fine but thats waaay to small I was looking for a sheet or something along those lines. The girl at the front suggested we get cupcakes instead with a strawberry filling but they could not use actual strawberries on the top since it wasn't strawberry season.. im like ok.. (I had literally just seem strawberries at the grocery store but if you say so) We had to talk her into adding colored sprinkles becasue she didn't want to add color sprikles only white sprinkles.. (really should of just left here) Ended up ordering 3 dozen cupcakes for a total of 100$ that's kind of pricey for cupcakes considering we didnt get a cake. Im thinking these cupcakes better be good Birthday is here, ok time to taste the cupcakes they better be good for 100$ i could of got 5 Costco cakes for that price.. So everyone said they tasted like a strawberry filled donut with frosting that was waay to sweet even the kids told me it was way to sweet and only wanted one.. Either myself or my husband will go in every so often to check for the brownies. Every time the workers giggle, run to the back to "check" and then come back and say no brownies. Today my husband went in and asked. The girls whispered to each other and said they'd be ready in 15 min, so he said he would come back. As he walked out they all burst into laughter, but he ignored it and walked out. We went back about an hour later and as he was checking out the girls in the back were laughing and the cashier couldn't hold back her laughter and literally laughed in his face. The immaturity of these workers puts me at a loss for words. We were at one time continuous supporters of Nadia's but after today we will never go back. I hope the staff that was working today 10/19/19 reads this and realizes their behavior was uncalled for. If you feel the need to laugh and belittle someone do it when your not on the clock doing a job that requires "customer service"! 10/22/19 I see that Abby has responded to my comment so this is my response to her. Within ONE month Nadia's has received not only my complaint about their employees but TWO more. I would say that shows there is something going wrong with your Palmdale location and Abby's comment borderline defends her workers immaturity. Are your employees paid to only have fun? Or are they paid to provide great customer service, sell your products and promote return visits with a positive attitude? I along with a few other Yelpers feel they should be paid to do the second of the two. But you run your business how you want, I will take our money elsewhere. Walked right into Sugar Heaven.... ok ok "Nadia Cakes" to pickup some cupcakes my husband wanted to get for my birthday! This place smelled so good I totally forgot which cupcakes I wanted to try! We were greeted by a nice young man and lady as soon as we walked in. Of course he asks if we've ever been in before and we tell him no so he gives us a quick spill about all the flavors and ways to purchase. I selected: the Oreo, the lemon drop, two brownie cupcakes, red velvet and the Ghirardelli triple chocolate. Although I haven't ate every cupcake so far, I can tell you that they are super moist and decadent. I ate the Lemon Drop cupcake and only tried a piece of the red velvet and they were both very good! The lemon drop had a sweet surprise in the middle of the cupcake I wasn't expecting along with the lemon head candy that gave it a nice little crunch. My children got some cupcakes but I really can't remember which ones they selected since it was my birthday, but they both loved the cupcakes so much that they want them for their birthdays this year! My daughter was just ecstatic to be coming to an establishment where the winner of Cupcake Wars bakes! She totally loves Food Network and loves this place. A1 cupcakes! Can't wait to return! Today is March, 19th and on Nadia Cake's website it said they would have 3 special gluten free aware flavors (Lucky Charms, Rainbow Confetti, Raspberry Lemonade) for St. Patrick's Day. The Palmdale location had ZERO of these flavors available. There were only 8 gluten aware cupcakes (4 flavors) and we arrived immediately when they opened. There's a good chance these 8 cupcakes were leftovers from yesterday. This location provides a subpar selection of gluten aware cupcakes. Immediate disappointment leaving this establishment, they need to do a better job. read more

We are so disappointed that staff in Palmdale give off vibe they are too busy for a wedding cake order. I would have paid anything to have you deliver 70 miles away. They seemed to not want the business,we tried email, phone call and even stopped in, in person, each time the person seemed to be too busy to want business. No longer a fan.
