I love Naam! I've been coming here for over 10 years and have forgotten about it until more recently. Decided to go back in the last month & it's still good as always! They have the best pad Thai in seattle- hands down. And I eat a LOT of Thai food. I also love their yellow curry w/ their sticky rice. And their fresh rolls & Thai tea are delicious too!! Highly recommend!!!

We've both eaten here and had take out from here. The food is good, above average Thai. The best dishes on the menu are the specialities. For example, I had a special curry on a recent visit that was kind of in between a yellow and red curry. It was obviously an in house speciality and was very tasty. The speciality dishes are outstanding. Other dishes we have had are good, above average Thai. Service is friendly, though a bit sluggish and not all that attentive. We've never had an issue with rudeness. The only issue I have with Naam is they sometimes get heat levels mixed up. We'll order a 1 and a 4 star on two different dishes, and we'll receive the dish that was supposed to be 1 star with 4 and the dish that was supposed to be 4 star with 1. See other reviewers have had the same experience (or not the higher star heat as requested), so Naam needs to work on this. Otherwise, we'll certainly be back.

AMBIANCE Naam has a really nice family restaurant feel to it. The services is solid and the place is simple and clean. Nothing to complain about here. FOOD We started off with shrimp satay which was pretty good. Nothing amazing, but the peanut sauce was the winner with this dish. I kept it around to put on my main dish. Everywhere does Khao Soi a little differently, and I was a little disappointed by the noodles here at Naam. The broth was really nice and rich, but the noodles lacked flavor in my opinion. Great toppings in it that were fresh. The Phad Kee Mao was really good. The flavors were all there that you'd expect in a Phad Kee Mao, and the vegetables were really fresh providing great color to the presentation, and a nice bite in texture. No complaints here. OVERALL Great little Thai spot. I always try to come by when I'm craving Thai.

Not the friendliest service or the best Thai food, but for an affordable and quick lunch in Madrona, Naam Thai Cuisine is here for just that. I volunteer at the nearby school and needed a quick lunch before then. Since the business centre of Madrona is basically a street of businesses, Naam Thai Cuisine is one of the only restaurants that's open for lunch. I looked on Yelp and saw that the restaurant opens at 11:30, but saw that the "open" sign wasn't lit up. I walked in and asked who appeared to be the owner if they were open. She was at her register, counting money and said, "Yeah, we open at 11:30." So I went in closer to her, to be seated and even proceeded to take a seat at the bar where she was when she didn't turn around. She never once looked up until finally, I asked to see a menu. Her response, "Okay, fine, I'm trying to do something..." Then she took a menu and started walking towards the dining area. I can only assume to follow her and take a seat. Once I was ready to order I didn't even wait for her to come back to my table. I went up to the bar and just told her my order, since I was on a time crunch to get to my volunteer shift. Naam Thai Cuisine has lunch combinations, all for about 10 bucks. It's a solid deal, with a side of steamed rice, phad thai, a spring roll and your choice of one of the entree combinations. For mine I ordered the yellow curry with chicken. Food was A-OK. It's far from the best Thai food I've had, as my main complaint was the lack of flavor, which is astounding for Thai food! I even asked for yellow curry to be spicy, and it was not at all. But since I was in a hurry to eat lunch I didn't ask for chili sauce, especially since the owner was scrambling around, helping the other customers getting takeout. Plus, she was rude, so didn't want to deal with her again. However, the portion was a good size, especially for 10 bucks. Yet, don't expect anything worth craving again. The only reason why I'd come to Naam Thai Cuisine is purely out of convenience and affordability. Since I'm in the area every week for volunteering it's good to know that there is Naam for lunch. I just won't be expecting good customer service or having Naam Thai Cuisine for any other occasion.

Their food is not good. Hadn't ordered from there for at least five years and out of desperation gave it another shot. That was a mistake.

The noodles were absolutely delicious, packed with flavor. They do spicy on a scale through five, we opted for four out of five for the noodles, I thought we could've gone even one spice level higher. For the curry, we did three out of five, and definitely could've done a spice level higher. The spice scale is definitely catered toward people who like less spicy food, so rest assured three or four is still fairly mild in spice. The quantity of the curry was actually quite small, however, the presentation was beautiful. It was also delicious in taste. Ambience: The restaurant is very ethnic and beautifully decorated. It is a great date spot. It's very clean, and food came out quickly. Service: Our server was incredibly professional and very polite. He gave great suggestions. I really appreciated that he went out of his way and got the spice jars for us to adjust the spice level of our food. Something else that I always give credit for is that they pack up any leftover food that you have. Phenomenal service.

It was a busy night and we brought our 1 year old son with us. We placed our orders while waiting in line outside (this is their standard process it seems), so if you are looking for a slow relaxed meal this might not be it - but the wait is worth it. When we were seated they had a full set of children's dinnerware (tray, toddler utensils, bowl) which was very impressive. The servers were all so friendly with our son which was delightful. The changing station in the bathroom was also very nice, with a soft cover, and they even provide wipes and other consumables you might need. The bathroom was very clean as well. Oh and the food is absolutely delicious! The dipping sauces for the chicken were all so good, and the texture of the chicken was perfect, moist and tender steamed chicken. The grilled chicken was also very juicy. We also loved the thai lime tea, a variant of thai milk tea which balances the sweetness with tangy/bitter lime. Very refreshing! We will definitely be ordering takeout/visiting the restaurant again!

We scanned the electronic menu at the front, ordered, then got water at the self-serve station. We beat the lunch crowd so we had plenty of tables to choose from. The bright and cheery decor had nice ambiance and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My hubs ordered the Khao Soi Chiang Mai, one of his favorite dishes to order at a Thai restaurant. It was huge and came in a big, wide bowl. He enjoyed the flavor of the yellow curry and building heat of this dish. Make sure to get a steak knife at the front counter so you can cut the meat from the chicken drumstick (if you're not biting into it). Also, if you are a spice lightweight like me, this is not your dish. But if you enjoy spice and curries, you will enjoy this dish. I got the E-Jae House Noodle with chicken and no egg. Wow, their handmade rice noodles were amazing! So soft, tender, and kinda ropey. I loved the texture and taste of this dish. The sauce was light and complimented the noodles, chicken, green onions, and cilantro. It's so great to eat a restaurant dish that isn't too salty or saucy! It comes with a side of chili sauce which I didn't use, but if you like spice, I am sure it was good. We ended our meal by sharing a small order of the Mango Sticky Rice. It was delightful. The mango was perfectly ripe, the sticky rice was delicious, and it was topped with little crispies which we found out later was fried mung beans. A great ending to a great meal. We will definitely be back!

Soft and delicate and not overly sauced. I'm going to judge all future rice noodles against these. Will definitely be back for more of these fresh noodles! First off their take on Khao Soi is huge. It was enough noodles and sauce for two meals for me. It came with one chicken leg (enough for one meal). Make sure to grab a knife from the front counter to get the chicken off the bone. Their flavor profiles are different from other Thai places I've tried. I enjoyed it. We also got the small mango and sticky rice. The mango was perfectly ripe. The small was enough for two people after all those noodles. It has tall windows so the place is well lit and I enjoyed the colorful decor. You get a number when you order and they bring your food to the table.

Mine managed to be spicy with no flavor. His managed to be neither. We figured Thai food is always a safe bet, but we left super disappointed. I'm really surprised that any reviews say the food is good, but if you eat a lot of Asian food and have a general standard for Thai or flavor, you will be super disappointed here. Maybe there are outliers we don't know of, but we both ordered pretty standard Thai dishes. My Garlic Lovers plate had massive chunks. LIke I needed a knife, but there weren't any around.
