I love Naam! I've been coming here for over 10 years and have forgotten about it until more recently. Decided to go back in the last month & it's still good as always! They have the best pad Thai in seattle- hands down. And I eat a LOT of Thai food. I also love their yellow curry w/ their sticky rice. And their fresh rolls & Thai tea are delicious too!! Highly recommend!!!

We've both eaten here and had take out from here. The food is good, above average Thai. The best dishes on the menu are the specialities. For example, I had a special curry on a recent visit that was kind of in between a yellow and red curry. It was obviously an in house speciality and was very tasty. The speciality dishes are outstanding. Other dishes we have had are good, above average Thai. Service is friendly, though a bit sluggish and not all that attentive. We've never had an issue with rudeness. The only issue I have with Naam is they sometimes get heat levels mixed up. We'll order a 1 and a 4 star on two different dishes, and we'll receive the dish that was supposed to be 1 star with 4 and the dish that was supposed to be 4 star with 1. See other reviewers have had the same experience (or not the higher star heat as requested), so Naam needs to work on this. Otherwise, we'll certainly be back.

AMBIANCE Naam has a really nice family restaurant feel to it. The services is solid and the place is simple and clean. Nothing to complain about here. FOOD We started off with shrimp satay which was pretty good. Nothing amazing, but the peanut sauce was the winner with this dish. I kept it around to put on my main dish. Everywhere does Khao Soi a little differently, and I was a little disappointed by the noodles here at Naam. The broth was really nice and rich, but the noodles lacked flavor in my opinion. Great toppings in it that were fresh. The Phad Kee Mao was really good. The flavors were all there that you'd expect in a Phad Kee Mao, and the vegetables were really fresh providing great color to the presentation, and a nice bite in texture. No complaints here. OVERALL Great little Thai spot. I always try to come by when I'm craving Thai.

Lunch Combo w/ Yellow Curry

Not the friendliest service or the best Thai food, but for an affordable and quick lunch in Madrona, Naam Thai Cuisine is here for just that. I volunteer at the nearby school and needed a quick lunch before then. Since the business centre of Madrona is basically a street of businesses, Naam Thai Cuisine is one of the only restaurants that's open for lunch. I looked on Yelp and saw that the restaurant opens at 11:30, but saw that the "open" sign wasn't lit up. I walked in and asked who appeared to be the owner if they were open. She was at her register, counting money and said, "Yeah, we open at 11:30." So I went in closer to her, to be seated and even proceeded to take a seat at the bar where she was when she didn't turn around. She never once looked up until finally, I asked to see a menu. Her response, "Okay, fine, I'm trying to do something..." Then she took a menu and started walking towards the dining area. I can only assume to follow her and take a seat. Once I was ready to order I didn't even wait for her to come back to my table. I went up to the bar and just told her my order, since I was on a time crunch to get to my volunteer shift. Naam Thai Cuisine has lunch combinations, all for about 10 bucks. It's a solid deal, with a side of steamed rice, phad thai, a spring roll and your choice of one of the entree combinations. For mine I ordered the yellow curry with chicken. Food was A-OK. It's far from the best Thai food I've had, as my main complaint was the lack of flavor, which is astounding for Thai food! I even asked for yellow curry to be spicy, and it was not at all. But since I was in a hurry to eat lunch I didn't ask for chili sauce, especially since the owner was scrambling around, helping the other customers getting takeout. Plus, she was rude, so didn't want to deal with her again. However, the portion was a good size, especially for 10 bucks. Yet, don't expect anything worth craving again. The only reason why I'd come to Naam Thai Cuisine is purely out of convenience and affordability. Since I'm in the area every week for volunteering it's good to know that there is Naam for lunch. I just won't be expecting good customer service or having Naam Thai Cuisine for any other occasion.

Their food is not good. Hadn't ordered from there for at least five years and out of desperation gave it another shot. That was a mistake.

Noi Thai Cuisine is where my Thai best friend and I go whenever she is in town! It is one of the…read morebest Thai restaurants in Seattle and is certified as Thai Select which certifies its Thai authenticity. They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

When entering they had a live keyboardist and singer playing Valerie which I was a fan of. We stopped in at 10pm on a week night and were sat right away and service was prompt and friendly. We chose fried calamari for an appetizer which was super delicious. My boyfriend thought the sauce that came with the calamari was too spicy for his liking but for me it was super sweet and paired perfectly with the calamari. We enjoyed the appetizer thoroughly and I would say it was my favorite part of the meal. My man ordered his favorite Thai dish Panang chicken Curry spice level 1. He said his meal was delicious but big portion so we both took to go our leftovers. I tried the curry and it was super tasty. I ordered my go to prawns Pad Thai and chose spice level 3. The Pad Thai was delicious and large portion but level 3 was not spicy at all so if you love spicy like me choose above level 3. Not the best Pad Thai I've ever had being honest but still yummy especially for late night. Definitely a great late night choice with large portions!

My friend and I walked in at 9:20 (~40 mins before closing) and got a seat at the bar. They have happy hour from 9pm-close so we ordered the curry from the happy hour menu ($10), kra pao with an egg (~$20), and drinks (lychee martini $9, Thai-Tini $9). Such a great deal!! My favorite thing had to be the yellow curry, it was so creamy and had a nice kick. The kra pao was also very good, we picked spice 2 which was pretty hot but manageable. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance, we got pretty lucky to get a walk in spot but the place was totally filled. A nice place for an upscale meal with a friend or a date!

Vibe - When I walked in, it felt like I was in a nighttime district on the streets of Thailand, eating and drinking whatever they had available. The vibe was that of a dark ambiance, with neon lights shining throughout the restaurant. Hospitality - The front-of-house staff was well-mannered and courteous, and they seated us quickly on a Monday night at 8:00 PM. It was a relatively busy night. However, we ordered fairly quickly, and the food came out within 10 to 15 minutes. Food - Food-wise, we ordered the Fried Papaya, Crispy Fried Rice, Khao Soi, Tom Yum, and Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice. Gosh, I have to say, I was blown away by the flavors and the portion sizes! Typically, four dishes can serve three people, but I felt like these could have served five. The fried papaya salad was lightly battered with a typical papaya salad dipping sauce featuring a base of fish sauce, green beans, tomatoes, and chilies. It was good. The crispy fried rice was served with lettuce wraps, and OMG, I kid you not when I tell you this is some of the crispiest rice I've ever had. It's hard to find, but when you do, you can't wait to take another bite. I thought the khao soi overall was not bad. I enjoyed that they put the fried noodles on top so that you can mix them into the curry when it's brought out. Lastly, the pork belly was well-cooked with a crispy, crunchy exterior, and served with delicious Thai-flavored fried rice! Drinks - We ordered the Thai lemon iced tea and the Thai tea cremosa. Both tasted good. Overall, I was very satisfied with this place, and if I lived here, I could see myself grabbing some late-night bites with the homies.
