Dip trio Greek Dips Trio
Alyssa G.

The homemade dip with warm pita were amazing. So fresh and delicious, could have just eaten 2 plates of this. Husband and I shared the dip and a gyro. It was the perfect amount of food. The gyro meat was very tender and thinly sliced. Overall very good food. The service was quick and server was very attentive. We told our server we were visiting and she gave us tons of recommendations of things to do and see in the city. Incredibly friendly and welcoming to a city you can tell she loved. Place was very busy for Monday and welcoming.

Moldy rye bread

The food: if you like moldy bread this is the place to go. I ordered a broccoli (not fresh but frozen) and cheese omelet, home fries (tasted like cardboard) and dry rye covered in mold. The service: Marie was our server. She has a great sense of humor and was very kind. She asked how everything was and after I told her she immediately yelled at the cooks. The Ambiance: music is a bit loud and it's cold. I'm legit shaky typing this review. Def won't be back.

It's Saturday morning, and I'm slacking on my mommy duties because I forgot to buy fruit for breakfast. Welp, that means we better go to brunch !! Today our choice was Mythos!! Located on the Elmwood Strip near Bryant St., this greek restaurant is definitely one of the staples in the neighborhood. Personally, I love brunch at a Greek restaurant. It is just icing on the cake!! One thing that I like about Mythos is that though it usually tends to get a bit busy, I'm always able to be seated, and the servers are always polite and give great service. When I come to Mythos, I come for one thing and one thing only .....the Soulvaki, but since it's brunch, I got the Soulvaki breakfast. To specify, I got the Chicken Soulvaki because I'm a chicken kinda girl ! The Soulvaki breakfast comes with eggs, hash browns, and toast. My food came out quickly, and the portion size was massive!! The only reason I gave this restaurant a 4 instead of a 5 is because the chicken was lukewarm and not hot like the rest of my food. This is the first time it has happened, so please don't hold anything against this wonderful restaurant. I paired my food with a had due, so don't judge me they were that good and only $ 5.99!! They also had a really nice list of brunch drinks, including strawberry spritz. I didn't try it, but I imagine it's great!! I can't forget my toddler's review of his food. My lil guy chose Orange juice for his drink and the kids' breakfast that came with meat, eggs, hash browns, and toast. He chose the sausage patty for meat and added cheese to his eggs and, of course, added a side of fruit !! After his first few bites, he reported his food, and I quote, " Yummy in my tummy, more please !!" So there you have it. Mythos is toddler, and mommy approved !! They also have buster seats if needed ad well as coloring pages and crayons. And a nice patio as well !! Also, stop in for lunch and dinner as well !! I order their lunch Chicken Soulvaki a lot through delivery service a lot !! It's that food !! Happy eating!!

Mythos is a reliable, comfy diner. I've been going there probably more than 30 years. And I hope it will be there another 30 years. Menu items are properly prepared, service is always super. I never have a complaint and Sunday brunch is very good.

Partially eaten hummus app

Can't believe I've lived in Elmwood Village for as long as I have and have only recently tried Mythos. It's become a staple for me. Freaking delicious and my orders have always been correct. My go tos are the hummus app, chicken souvlaki salad and avgolemono soup. They don't skimp on the salad ingredients like I've another places do..tomato, cucumber, green pepper, onion, kalamata olives, pepperoncini, feta. They have a great breakfast too if you like the diner feel. Friendly staff, online ordering. Street parking but there is a nearby ramp. Pop in there. You won't regret it.

Service was good- my coffee was never empty! We both ordered the mythic scramble. It was good and just enough food.

Fabulous diner for breakfast in Buffalo. We did not have to wait long for a party of seven and the variety on the menu was wonderful... Some unusual things I'd never seen before. We had great service and it's a very family friendly ambience

Lamb Chops & Greek Salad

The food was amazing with large portions. Met all my dietary restrictions and went out of their way to be helpful. Ambiance was a small upscale Greek bistro.

The man I talked to who prepared my food is from Jerusalem, it was very cool hearing his story and seeing the passion he has for cooking food from his beloved Homeland. I live near fredonia and making the trip all the way out here was certainly worth it.

(I thought I detected salt, pepper and allspice among others; it was truly delicious!) Throughout the restaurant were blinking "Ramadan Kareem" signs in multicolors: It was very cheerful. Most of the food is done take-out, either by customers arriving for pickup, or delivery by service. If you care to sit, the restaurant is galley-shaped: Food prep area on the left, comfortable chairs and bench seats on the right. The menu is huge and varied. I had the lamb shawarma, and because it was after 2pm, I could no longer order it a la carte. However, this was a blessing as the combo gave me a chance to try more of their food, and everything was delicious. The prices were very reasonable. There are posted signs at the register that a surcharge of 3.5% is added unless you're paying cash. I'm looking forward to returning with my family for their lentil soup, fattoush salad, babaganoush, and hummus. Chilled beverages and tea for purchase; no alcohol allowed on the premises. Very family friendly.

I've been going to Babas for years and I have always received great customer service and food…read more When you first walk in everyone speaks to you (unless they are super busy, which is understandable) but for the most part everyone acknowledges you. I've tried several things but my favorite is the chicken and rice with onions, peppers, tomatoes and feta cheese. I've also had the chicken souvlaki, the chicken stir fry and a few of the oven melts and I've never been disappointed. 9.28.2018 I ordered some thing different from Babas. In all my years I always would order the same thing. On this day I had a chicken Souvlaki Sub and it was GREAT! From the menu it is a new item and I must say they nailed it, ITS A MUST TRY. The sub comes with all of the fixings that's on a chicken Souvlaki salad but placed on a nice fresh sub roll. My friends ordered a gyro sub that I didn't taste but he said that it was really good and he should've ordered 2 full subs vs 1 full sub. I did get to taste the chicken hoagie and I must say I was completely thrown. From the looks of it it seems to be dry but that isn't the case AT ALL, it was juicy and full of great flavor. Glad I attempted to try something new and was actually satisfied.

I ordered the souvlaki expecting authentic Greek/Mediterranean flavors, but this was nothing close…read more It was basically just a pile of cheese and lettuce with barely any seasoning. There was no tzatziki sauce, no real Greek flavors, and honestly nothing about it felt authentic at all. If this is their version of Greek food, it's really disappointing and pretty sad and it's completely over priced for what it is total Malakai.
