Dessert board - a full tray of baklava is available for only $60 (with 48 hours' notice)
Khristina S.

Plenty of parking available, quiet for a Friday night with only 2 people dining in. Quite a variety on the menu! I asked the server behind the register what her favorite menu item is & she said rice bowl. After much deliberation, I chose the gyro rice bowl. While I waited, a previous customer returned to inquire as to the accuracy of his order. The [supposed] owner was very kind. Pointed out that the rice is underneath the salad. Offered to remake the bowl as the customer wanted it. Customer left with his food as-is. I watched another worker go to bag my baklava & drop the paper wrapper on the floor, pick it up, pack my piece of baklava and moments later, a third worker brought me my meal. The rice has some cinnamon in it. The feta was a gorgeous dusting like snow on top of the shredded lettuce. There were tomatoes and pitted kalamata olives. The onion was cooked with the gyro meat and it was plentiful. The tzatziki sauce was sharp with fresh garlic. The baklava had a thick layer of finely ground nuts, with a texture almost like sand. I didn't taste many spices, but it was a delicious after-meal treat with a venti Chai Latte from another establishment. Give Nana's a try. You won't regret it.

Chicken souvlaki and Greek fries

I used to love Nana's in the food court at Eastern Hills Malls. I would get the chicken caesar wrap and fries. I didn't realize until recently where they relocated and was happy to finally order from here again. This time I tried the chicken souvlaki wrap with Greek fries. They were very good! They give you the Greek dressing for the fries in a separate container (for a to go order) so the fries don't get soggy on the way home. The prices are fair and the place is cute and cozy if you want to dine in.

So I had an inkling to get some souvlaki and checked the Yelp app to see what was close by. I saw the name and remembered hearing good things about Nana's. I ordered a chicken souvlaki, and my husband ordered a fish fry. His fish fry looked pretty good. The souvlaki was very good! They certainly didn't skimp on any of the ingredients, including the chicken. I appreciated the fact that the chicken was cut in smaller pieces. It's much easier to eat. I found it interesting that the fish fry came with a buttery garlic naan, and mine came with plain naan. Next time, I'll request the garlic. The fries were average. Overall, it was a very good meal with enough leftover for lunch the next day. 2024- 4

Fish Fry with Greek Salad, Fries and Pita Bread.

I got a Fish Fry that came with a Greek Dalad, Fries and Pita Bread. I really enjoyed this Fish Fry. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Check their website for a menu of what they have to offer. Try it out for yourself. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Stopped in for a quick takeout dinner before an event I was going to. I did have to wait about 15 minutes for the food but I was absolutely delicious. There was so much flavor in the sample combo. The hummus was the real highlight. I would definitely stop back in if I was in the area again.

Delicious chicken souvlaki salad. Reasonably priced and very nice employees. Will definitely be back. Small place but a decent amount of tables.

Don't expect any ambiance, it's just a place to get really delicious food on the run. The place lacks any decor but it is really clean. We ordered from a menu and the food is prepared in the back and brought to our table. On this day folks were ordering, then began chatting with other locals till their food was brought out. I heard the owner explain to another patron how all the Rachel locations are independently owned by the extended family. While we waited, we observed a healthy walk on trade for lunch takeout. My chicken shawarma pita was crammed full of tasty, thinly sliced chicken breast with pickles and a couple of French fries. My companion had a very delicious chicken rice bowl with a pita on the side. Every bit as good as any dish you'll find at Rachel's Mediterranean locations around Western New York. Kudos to a hardworking family with a great niche business' We recommend this location for a quick and tasty meal.

Shawarma City is our fam's favorite shawarma joint in the 716. All of the food we have ordered from here has been excellent--absolutely BURSTING with so much authentic FLAVOR! Our recent order included a beef shawarma platter, a falafel platter, a chicken shawarma wrap combo with rice, and a kids chicken tenders meal. We ordered on DoorDash for pick-up. Shawarma City is in a small strip-mall'esque corner plaza with easy off-street parking. Our order was ready on time, with all of our dishes HOT and HUGE! I had the wrap, and it was BIG. Half of the wrap and half of the generous rice portion was perfectly filling. The chicken was juicy and spiced just right--I LOVE that warm, cinnamon'y slightly-sweet-and-smoky flavor! Our vegan daughter loved her falafel platter, which was a takeout box STUFFED with I think eight falafel done right--crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The hubbs beef shawarma platter was big, juicy, and oh so savory too. The hubbs is a man who rarely has leftovers, but with this big delicious box of food he met his leftovers-match. We all had leftovers for the next day. Our son is typically not an adventurous eater, so it's great that Shawarma City has a chicken tenders kids meal for the picky little ones. But it's not just a throw-away kids meal, the chicken is actually very crisp and tasty! On top of all of the food here being wonderful, the prices are very fair too, especially considering the size of the chow you receive. My wrap combo was under ten bucks. Platters are just over ten bucks. Kids meals are just five bucks. Very reasonable pricing all around. When we have another hankering for delicious shawarma food, Shawarma City will definitely be our pick again!

If you care to sit, the restaurant is galley-shaped: Food prep area on the left, comfortable chairs and bench seats on the right. The menu is huge and varied. I had the lamb shawarma, and because it was after 2pm, I could no longer order it a la carte. However, this was a blessing as the combo gave me a chance to try more of their food, and everything was delicious. The prices were very reasonable. There are posted signs at the register that a surcharge of 3.5% is added unless you're paying cash. I'm looking forward to returning with my family for their lentil soup, fattoush salad, babaganoush, and hummus. Chilled beverages and tea for purchase; no alcohol allowed on the premises. Very family friendly.
