I have been coming here for nearly a year now, and after many disappointments elsewhere, I am super impressed with my mani & pedi services from Mystic Nails! Vu does such an amazing job every time, and he is literally a perfectionist when it comes to your nails! I have referred many others, and every single person that I have referred to him, love him as well, and his work speaks for itself (always compliments on my perfect nails), hence the referrals!! I am certain everybody there would be equally amazing but he is the only person I have ever seen because I call and ask for him by name and he always manages to get me in right when I need him. I would always suggest calling first and making an appointment when possible because he is very much in demand and best to have an appointment. I have a photo of my nail. I didn't notice it because the polish was red. I saw the top and bottom turned red. Then I took it off and could see it was really red. I'll give them 5 stars for the qualify of the material! I got these nails done June 8the! And got them removed July 1st!! Yup! I'm pretty sure they would have lasted more but I disliked how long they were getting. Now what I didn't like (which I don't feel like it should affect my opinion about them overall), but they are short staffed. So for a pedi/mani I was there for 2.5 hours. Just make sure you either make an appointment or come in knowing you are going to wait. for a simple pedí and a white set I really don't think it should have taken that long. Overall, I would defiantly go back because their product lasted me a while. read more

They had great customer service from start to finish from being greeted, to Tam doing a fantastic job on my nails (very patient and kind too), to being offered a water. Had a really awesome experience here. I rarely get a pedicure because I feel as though a lot of places are overpriced for average work. This place, however, was very fairly priced and the work was superb. He did a thorough job; did not rush at all. I left feeling very relaxed and pampered with a glistening pedicure. read more

I really love my nails. Meghan did an amazing job. This time I got a pedi to go along with my dipped nails. I scheduled online for a 10am on my day off. They were not open. I called the number and I was told they were running late. No big deal. They showed up 5 minutes later. But I did read that you need to call ahead & schedule your appointment online. People try to show up for a walk-in & that just isn't going to work. This place is very nice inside and the staff is amazing. So please pre-book your appointment online. I'm already scheduled for my next appointment in November. Easy to book on their website & check-in is quick. They have a "Covid" fee of like $2.50 but this is normal now and they are super clean. So just pay it and don't forget to tip! read more

Their new location is BEAUTIFUL!! I'm in love. Once I walked in and seen the inside. OMG. The wall and the check in desk caught my attention. Then I wall a little more and the beautiful displays of all the gel and matching dipped powder!! I normally go to VU but he was busy and I was in a rush so someone else's did my nails. All the staffs were friendly and the place is so clean!! I'm from SD and I have a nail lady there but when I know I'm going too AZ, I make sure to have my bare nails so I can get a full set here. Customer since 2013. When looking for a salon you want consistency, cleanliness and knowledgeable staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Vu and staff provide all if this. The new location is beautiful and relaxing, off the busy road, with ample parking. I had a nail emergency after growing out tips with acrylic over, Vu removed all the old stuff and suggested I try dip power on my newly longer natural nails (saved during gentle removal of the tips and acrylic) the dip powder was pretty, but one nail (rt index) didn't survive 48 hrs. I wasn't able to get back to the salon until 6 days later. Rushed in after work 5:40pm and by 6:40pm I had a brand new set of acrylic over my natural nails. Happy and not charged for the lengthy removal of the product that didn't work for me.. all the dip powder had shattered and some areas had fallen/ chipped out. Mystic nail saved my natural nails and my pocket. read more

This was no doubt the absolute worst pedicure I've ever had. There was a big communication issue with the man that butchered my toenails. They are so short and so horribly shaped that I can't do anything to fix them until they grow out. The polish looks like a 5 year old did it and if that isn't bad enough, I was overcharged $15! I got the #1 basic pedicure and was charged $40. When I questioned the price and asked if it was for the #1basic he nodded and agreed. I even asked a second time to be absolutely sure he understood. After I left, I called to find out how much they charge for the basic pedicure because $40 seemed way too high and I was told they charge $25. Needless to say, I will not be setting foot in this place ever again. read more

I came in needing my set redone from another spot. They had the dip cakes under the edges and were lifting all over in less than a week. They redid my nails and I could not be more happy with how much attention the detail they did for me. No extra pieces under the nails and my edges are still going great almost 2 weeks later. My girlfriend and I also got pedicures and those were great too! Happy to find a new spot to go to since I've moved away from my old spot. read more

Updating this review after a few weeks. Pedicure polish didn't stay on more than a week. Usually mine stays on for at least 3 weeks without chipping. SNS was was still terrible because it was so thick and the top coat gel started rubbing off after a week showing how in even the SNS layers were. Also just got my nails done at a different place and found out that because of the poor technique and cleaning prior to the SNS application it caused a psuedomona (dark green spot) on my nail that I will likely have for months. read more

I think it depends on who you get. I ran late for my appt and had 2 ladies taking care of me at the same time instead of Vu, who I booked the appt with. The one who did my pedicure was meticulous and did a terrific job. The pedicure is still looking great 2 weeks later. The lady who did my gel mani was not great. She rushed the entire time. She forced a color on me that I didn't want (I didn't even get to see all the gel mani colors) and her work was sloppy. I asked her not to cut my cuticles and she laughed at me, told me not to be scared and went to town on them. They've been a disaster since. She didn't file my nails evenly. Some nails are much longer than others and one nail is filed diagonally. And the paint job is pretty bad. She didn't push my cuticles back properly and paint from my cuticles on all my nails so some nails look grown out the day I got them done. Some parts of my nails have much thicker polish than others. She put the wrong color on one nail (blue but I wanted white with artwork on one nail) and she wiped the blue polish off with her finger and put the white over it. The blue still showed underneath and that nail completely peeled off within a week. It's not that difficult to use some polish remover to take the wrong color off but they definitely rush to close exactly on time. She didn't clean under my nails, lotion my hands or use a hot towel. I basically just overpaid for a color application on my nails rather than an actual manicure. Very disappointing experience with this particular technician. I like their hygiene and safety standards and I'm happy with my pedicure (which is why I gave 3 stars) but I don't plan to go back after this experience. read more

I get a pedicure here about once a month - they're always great. I went in yesterday to get a pedicure for my wedding this weekend. I got a woman I've never seen before, but since all my other pedicures have been good I figured it would be fine. Nope! I didn't catch her name, but she was wearing what I would consider dress clothes, while the other ones wear scrub-like shirts. She asked me if I wanted a manicure, which the other ones don't normally ask, then ten minutes later she asked if I wanted anything waxed, then ten minutes later she asked if I wanted a design on my nails. Super annoying to me. She used some sort of tool to scrape underneath the sides of my toenails, which was extremely uncomfortable, and she only did it on one foot! She also only pushed back my cuticles on one foot, and I also requested the callus remover, which she only did on one foot. During the foot massage, she did a lot of scratching, as if you were lightly scratching someone's back. She put lotion on my legs, but then rinsed it off after she was done massaging, all these things I find very odd and that the other technicians don't do. Worst of all, when she was painting my nails, she got the polish all over my toes, and then used remover to get it off my skin, didn't get it all off so I have red skin all around my nails, but this also took polish off my nails. I didn't really notice until I was already home and could take a good look. I will post a picture of my horrible looking red toes. I will go back here, but I will request to have one of the men do my pedicures. They both do a great job. I hope they read this and develop some stricter hiring practices. That lady shouldn't be working there! read more

I came in for a full set with SNS and they where only two guys working so one took me in he was rushing but I still let him do this work and when he was almost don't my nails looked horrible he was getting frustrated because it wasn't coming out right so I asked for someone else to help me and fix them he said the owner was busy to come back tomorrow life wth there's no way I was gonna leave the nail shop to work like that so I told him to take them off and he didn't even take them off right there's a before and after picture!! I came to the nail shop to get my underarms waxed at 3pm today. They said that the wait was going to be too long so I should come back (this is the 2nd time I have visited the salon and they have told me this). So now I came back 30 mins before closing hoping they wouldn't have a wait and I was disappointed to see they closed early.
