After looking at several pictures of pizza from the local restaurants, we finally decided to go to Mystic Mountain. Traveling these areas, there's a mountain called Mystic Mountain, and I am not sure if there is a correlation here but ... I thought I just mention it. This pizza place is hippie funky, with lots and lots of decorations. There's a small shop at the front with clothing, home decor, crystals, a bunch of hippie/bohemian/spiritual knickknacks. At the back, there is a game room, so this is a great place for families. I got my hands busy at the pinball machine. We ordered a pizza and a salad, and we were offered the option to split the pizza so we got half supreme and half buffalo chicken. Everything was really good. We liked that this place is well decorated and that we got to roam around and feel like kids. The staff is very friendly and this place had a constant flow of people and families. It's a nice place to visit. Finally, this place is family owned.

On March 21, some roommates and friends of mine went to this pizza restaurant in Blue Ridge, GA for one of my roommate's birthday. She was turning 23 that weekend and wanted to go to Blue Ridge, since she has been to Blue Ridge before with her family. Upon walking into this restaurant, it gives the vibes of Mellow Mushroom and has shirts and other gifts to sell. A local band was playing live and they sounded good. A little hard to hear what people were saying around you, but they sounded good. Service was a little slow, but that's okay, there were plenty of things to do while you waited.

Supreme!!!

We called this place 100 times give or take to place a carry out order. I wanted to try their pizza so bad we decided to drive there. I walked in and the hostess was sweet. I asked if the phone was off the hook. She said, let me check. Then she said yeah for like 2 and a half hours! Anyway, she took my order, supreme pizza, and said she would rush it through. Only took about 15 minutes. The pizza was phenomenal!!! The atmosphere and people are awesome. When in Blue Ridge, hit them up for great pizza and great hospitality. My wife and I are talking about picking up a second pie to take home!!!

Fun dining decorations

Great food, fun talkative and personable staff. Pizza was just how it should be, right amount of cheese, pepperoni and grease, just like a northern pizza. Inside is decorated in a funky fun way that fits almost any personality. Loved hearing about the owners affinity for Beetlejuice, seeing their decorations and hearing their awesome themed wedding idea.

Not my favorite pizza. Crust was thin, cheese was light, and toppings were near non-existent. It had a fun vibe but that was about it.

My experience was so good. if I could add more stars I would, if y'all are in the Blue Ridge area definitely check out mystical Mountain Pizza. It's such a cool experience. There's so many things to look at in this restaurant and this place had such a great atmosphere. The waitress I had was such a sweetheart. And explain to me everything that they had plus different things you can add on to your pizza just such good service. Lastly, the food was amazing. I got the dill pickle pizza. and hands-down was the best pizza I've ever had. I definitely will be back and I definitely recommend anyone reading this to go check it out!

We were starving when we walked into the friendly Mystic Mountain pizza place. Music was playing and the server/hostess, Ana was lovely and helpful! We ordered a couple beers and had supreme pizza. We ordered the cheeseburger pizza - OMG both pizzas were insanely good.

Saturday lunch when visiting the area for the day…read more Ordered wedge salad and six buffalo wings, along with a beer. The restaurant was quite empty, so service was quick. Food was good, although given my selection not out of the ordinary. The kitchen is a long way from the balcony where I was, and the restaurant has 500 seats. So I'm not surprised that some previous reviews weren't happy when it was busy. Plenty of free parking, which can be an issue in this town.

Twisted Tomato is a true hidden gem in Blue Ridge, delivering a polished dining experience that…read moreeasily stands out in the area. Arrival & Ambiance: Set slightly off the main strip, the restaurant benefits from a calmer, more refined atmosphere--no crowds brushing past the windows and the welcome convenience of a dedicated parking lot. Located on the second floor, the space opens to a spacious outdoor seating area, while the interior strikes a modern, upscale tone with low lighting, ample seating, and a thoughtfully stocked bar. Several wine racks showcase an impressive selection and set the expectation for a well-curated menu. Service: We arrived early for a reservation for ten and were seated without hesitation. Despite the size of our party, service was seamless. Our server was prompt with drink orders, knowledgeable about the menu, and exceptionally patient with questions. Throughout the evening, he checked in regularly without hovering, and not once did we need to flag him down--attentive, professional service executed exactly as it should be. Appetizers: We shared several starters, including the Lamb Lollipops, Heirloom Tomato Caprese, Momma's Meatballs, and salads. The lamb was a standout--perfectly cooked with a delicate char and beautifully complemented by pesto. The Caprese featured unusually large tomato wedges, but any skepticism vanished after the first bite; the tomatoes and fresh mozzarella were excellent. While I didn't sample the meatballs themselves, the marinara was deeply rich and flavorful, setting the tone for what followed. Entrées: I ordered the Scallops with Potato Gnocchi, and the dish was outstanding from start to finish. The gnocchi was pillowy and precise, the scallops expertly cooked, and the pesto cream sauce tied everything together elegantly. My girlfriend chose the Chicken Parmesan, made with fresh spaghetti and the same stellar marinara--well-seasoned, balanced, and clearly prepared with care. I also sampled both the New York Strip and Ribeye (each cooked mid-rare). While both were excellent, the Ribeye had a richer flavor profile. The menu notes that steaks are dry-aged for 30-60 days, yet the usual "funk" associated with dry aging was absent--a welcome surprise for those who appreciate the depth of dry aging without its more aggressive notes. Desserts: Dessert was equally impressive. The Crème Brûlée was creamy and flavorful, served with fresh, ripe fruit; while the sugar crust was slightly thinner than expected, it was still well-executed. The Tiramisu was balanced and properly textured--no soggy ladyfingers here. The Affogato was the clear standout, with high-quality espresso poured over vanilla bean gelato, creating a simple yet memorable finish. Final Thoughts: For two guests--one appetizer, two entrées, dessert, and drinks--the total came to $130 after tax and a 20% tip. Given the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere, the value is more than fair. Twisted Tomato delivers a refined, consistently excellent dining experience and is absolutely worth seeking out. We'll be back on our next visit to Blue Ridge without hesitation.

We shared the Brussel sprouts, the spinach and artichoke dip, and the three Onion and Apple soup. That soup was killer!!! Two in our party had the Tomahawk Pork chops. The gal behind the counter was very prompt and courteous and answered my questions about options on the menu. There is a big stove across the bar so you can see some of the cooking that gets done. The only issue with that is the heat...I didn't want my frosty beer glass to warm up while I enjoyed one of their local brews. I'd rather sit away from the cooking action. I ordered the crab cakes which came with coleslaw. The crab cakes had a nice sauce decorating the top of each cake. I asked for more because the crab cakes were a bit more bread filled than crab filled. I know I am spoiled with west coast Dungeness crab as you get a lot of chunks and not well flaked blue crab, but I really was hoping for more crab than I got for the money. The coleslaw was just okay. It was a nice mayo based dressing but lacked a tangy/sweet combo that I just adore. I am not impressed enough to return.
