Cheap beer, ok pizza, odd location. During our first trip to Blue Ridge, we were in the mood for pizza, and outside of chains (pizza hut/ dominoes) there are very few choices - so we wound up here. We started with the garlic knots, which were tasty and arrived quickly. The draft beer was the best price all trip. The environment was very no frills, low key, somewhat drab pizza shop. We spilt a Pepperoni pizza, very thin crust, which is something I like, but too greasy. I wouldn't mind it again, but not for the price. The cheap beer helped even the value out somewhat. The parking lot is bizarre, a short walk down the hill from the restaurant. Luckily it was a slow evening and there was plenty of room, but on a busy night it would fill up fast. When waking up to the restaurant, you pass Pete's porch -- a highly cluttered house and porch (reminded me of a flea market). This gives the area character but makes you think twice about continuing. Final word, get the beer for the value but not too much pizza or the excessive grease will make your gut burn.

Used to love this place. Used to have great pizza. It's gotten worse and worse each time we've tried going back through the years. Crust is like cardboard and the pepperoni and sausage are devoid of flavor. And FYI... if the photo I uploaded is indicative of your large pie... you could save a few bucks and get smaller "large" boxes. Lame.

Awesome pizza but don't miss the Blue Chips. They are worth going on their own. Wings are perfect, nice and crispy.

The only complaint is that it was pouring rain and the handicap parking spot which they have was obviously put in place sometime ago. They have multiple. Metal sculptures, and obstacles in the way so you can't walk on the sidewalk from the handicap parking spot all the way to the front door they should really consider moving the handicap spot to one that's closer to the door as they've blocked off the doorway, which is right next to the handicap parking space

My wife's mushroom ravioli was good. However, they committed the cardinal sin on my eggplant by undercooking it. This made it chewy and lacking flavor. This is an amateur move. As to service, I can confirm what others have said about it being very slow. The waitress absent for extended periods of time. I suspect that much of the delay had to do with the lack of food coming out of the kitchen. The restaurant was less than half full on a Thursday night so I don't understand why the kitchen was having so many problems. We might give it was more try in a few months to see if the get things figured out but I'm not very optimistic.

We all had different things but it was a miss. They don't do substitutions on toppings so beware of charges! We didn't want any olives so we were charged $3.50 for tomatoes. It also made one of my friends a little sick. The ONLY reason why they get a better rating is because of Shannon. She was WONDERFUL. We absolutely loved her. She went above and beyond and was so so kind. I'd actually go back and eat the pizza bc of her. If you have NO other option please go see her. Not the pizza, it's not worth it in my humble option.

Food was good, although given my selection not out of the ordinary. The kitchen is a long way from the balcony where I was, and the restaurant has 500 seats. Arrival & Ambiance: Set slightly off the main strip, the restaurant benefits from a calmer, more refined atmosphere--no crowds brushing past the windows and the welcome convenience of a dedicated parking lot. Located on the second floor, the space opens to a spacious outdoor seating area, while the interior strikes a modern, upscale tone with low lighting, ample seating, and a thoughtfully stocked bar. Several wine racks showcase an impressive selection and set the expectation for a well-curated menu. Service: We arrived early for a reservation for ten and were seated without hesitation. Despite the size of our party, service was seamless. Our server was prompt with drink orders, knowledgeable about the menu, and exceptionally patient with questions. Throughout the evening, he checked in regularly without hovering, and not once did we need to flag him down--attentive, professional service executed exactly as it should be. Appetizers: We shared several starters, including the Lamb Lollipops, Heirloom Tomato Caprese, Momma's Meatballs, and salads. The lamb was a standout--perfectly cooked with a delicate char and beautifully complemented by pesto. The Caprese featured unusually large tomato wedges, but any skepticism vanished after the first bite; the tomatoes and fresh mozzarella were excellent. While I didn't sample the meatballs themselves, the marinara was deeply rich and flavorful, setting the tone for what followed. Entrées: I ordered the Scallops with Potato Gnocchi, and the dish was outstanding from start to finish. The gnocchi was pillowy and precise, the scallops expertly cooked, and the pesto cream sauce tied everything together elegantly. My girlfriend chose the Chicken Parmesan, made with fresh spaghetti and the same stellar marinara--well-seasoned, balanced, and clearly prepared with care. I also sampled both the New York Strip and Ribeye (each cooked mid-rare). While both were excellent, the Ribeye had a richer flavor profile. The menu notes that steaks are dry-aged for 30-60 days, yet the usual "funk" associated with dry aging was absent--a welcome surprise for those who appreciate the depth of dry aging without its more aggressive notes. Desserts: Dessert was equally impressive. The Crème Brûlée was creamy and flavorful, served with fresh, ripe fruit; while the sugar crust was slightly thinner than expected, it was still well-executed. The Tiramisu was balanced and properly textured--no soggy ladyfingers here. The Affogato was the clear standout, with high-quality espresso poured over vanilla bean gelato, creating a simple yet memorable finish. Final Thoughts: For two guests--one appetizer, two entrées, dessert, and drinks--the total came to $130 after tax and a 20% tip. Given the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere, the value is more than fair. Twisted Tomato delivers a refined, consistently excellent dining experience and is absolutely worth seeking out. We'll be back on our next visit to Blue Ridge without hesitation.
