I expected to see Trump merchandise given the area, but what truly alarmed me were the "White Privilege Cards" being sold. That sent a very unwelcoming and unsafe message. On top of that, a staff member watched my partner and me closely throughout the store, and diners gave us cold, judgmental stares. I still ordered a hamburger, but the food was nothing special--certainly not worth the uncomfortable experience. Honestly, you're better off cooking at home. The only thing this place seems to offer is a space that caters to a privileged few. Very disappointing, especially compared to the glowing reviews I had read beforehand.

On Fridays sometime Sat after work, I stop at this store around 11pm to fill up and buy a 6 pack of beer. This location is an easy stop on my way home however I dreed stopping at this location because the cashier always has an attitude. She never says anything even when I ask how her day is. Always aggressively shoving my purchase in a bag and blankly staring at me when I tell her good night. As if she is angry at the world. A week ago, I did my usual stop at this store except this time I did not purchase a pack of cigs. I quite 6 days earlier. I told this cashier "I will not be purchasing my usual cigs because I quite" She looked at me coldly and said "that beer your buying is going to kill you faster then the cigs" I disagreed with her. She snapped started yelling that her brother died of alcoholism and to get the H*LL out of her store. I know you're thinking there had to be more to the story for her to snap in the first place however there was not. I was upset but decided not to complain as she might be going through something. A week later I stopped to get my 6 pack. This same cashier advised I am not allowed in HER store and to leave. So, I did. This cashier is a loose cannon which Circle K needs to keep a close eye on.

Thankfully, the Buc-ee's staff immediately jumped into action to help, and after several minutes, he was found safe. It was nice to see how quickly everyone responded. I had always heard people rave about the jerky, so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. The jerky I bought tasted spoiled and had an unpleasant flavor. Considering how much it cost, it definitely wasn't worth the money for me. My son really wanted one of the Buc-ee's fleece throw blankets, so we picked one up for about $15, and he loves it. My husband and the kids also ordered the brisket sandwiches, and they all thought they were really good. I tried a bite, but it just wasn't my favorite. Buc-ee's is definitely worth visiting at least once. The atmosphere is impressive, the store is huge, and there's an incredible selection of food, snacks, gifts, and souvenirs. I just wish my experience with the jerky had been better because I left feeling disappointed that it didn't satisfy the craving I'd been looking forward to.
