Stopped here for dinner on the way to Woodruff Scout Camp based on the great reviews. It's located in the back corner of a sad old plaza but don't let that deter you. The inside is small but clean with a few tables. They also have two small tables outside. It's just a counter service pizza place but it's cute inside. They offer pizza, subs, breads, salads and other stuff. Our pizza was fresh and delicious. The cheesy bread was soooo yummy... highly recommend. The woman working the counter was pleasant and efficient. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out but it was worth the wait. read more

They have variety of selections beyond the pizza. Staff of friendly and welcoming. Clearly a local favorite as they were busy on Friday evening. Staff greeted regulars by name when they arrived. We tried Twisted Pizza for the first time tonight. We had another pizza place in Blairsville last night, and let me tell you, I wasn't sold on that pizza. The pizza we had tonight, however was soooo good. We ordered "The Spud" pizza. This pizza has potato slices, a ranch sauce base, cheeses, onions, and bacon. We've had a potato pizza before that we loved, so I knew we had to try this one. And let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. It may sound weird to some, but this is such a good pizza. We also got a pepperoni pizza for our kids, although my 4 year old needed up eating our pizza. We also got a side salad which was very generously portioned. The girl working the counter was super nice, and the pizzas didn't take long at all despite it being busy. The restaurant is also very easy to get to in a plaza in downtown. read more

We thought the pizza was very good. We ordered a Greek Goddess and our parents got a custom sausage, pepperoni and extra cheese. The crust is thin with a little more dough on the edges. It's brushed with a garlic butter and is very tasty for those who enjoy a good crust. I do...almost as much as the pizza itself. Google reviews are excellent so Im surprised at the poor review on YELP. We did meet the owner who said they just reopened after being closed for 6 weeks. The original oven acquired with the unit had to be replaced. Just saying the poor review may have had a legit reason. We'll definitely be back. Maybe you'll offer anchovies next time? read more

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for a slice and a drink. We had the puppies in tow and learned we could eat on one of the 2 tables out front, always a plus for us. We got 2 small pizzas, one was the big kahuna and a pepperoni. They use good quality ingredients and don't skimp on them either. Pizza was piping hot and delicious. My husband and I were renting a cabin for the weekend and decided to grab a pizza after our long drive in. After scouring Yelp! for a pizza place we decided to give Twisted Pizza a try. We called in our order (a medium Greek goddess and added jalapenos). We were told our pizza would be ready in 20-25 minutes. We were staying about 12 minutes away and decided to head over after about 10 minutes. Upon arrival I was greeted quickly and our pizza was ready. After years of living in Blairsville with barely decent pizza, I was so happy to discover Twisted! Everything we have ordered has been delicious, and the toppings are loaded. When I went gluten free last year, I discovered their cauliflower crust, which is just as good as a thin crust pizza (not so great leftover unless you heat it piping hot). We ordered two pizzas buffalo chicken, margarita and salad all very fresh and very good. The eat in area is a little on the small side. If you want beer or wine you can bring your own. Kind of a mixed review for this place. The food was good, but very overpriced. You go to the cash register and order, you pay and tip before anything happens, which is backwards. You then go down the hallway and get paper plates and plastic forks, and . . . Wait. We almost had to take our order to go, but finally got our food. While our food was being prepared you could hear very plainly this lady who was either the manager or owner telling the other workers how busy she is, while they prepared the food and brought orders to the table.
