I visited for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is in a little side area about a block from the old courthouse, and there are several other restaurants in the same area. Parking is within the area, but there is more across the street. Pizza Belly shares patio seating with the place next door which does have table service, so that's a little confusing. Anyway, order your pizza or sandwich inside at the counter and they will bring it to you whether you sit in or out. I ordered the Detroit style personal pizza and was warned that it would take 30 minutes, but since I was not in a hurry I continued. The pizza was 100% worth the wait! It was a square about 6-8 inches on a side, cut into four pieces. The crust was beautiful: tall and soft with a buttery, crispy outside. Toppings were also tasty (I just had pepperoni) including the red tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. I have not had pizza this good in a long time. Fountain drinks on offer included the usual sodas, sweet and unsweetened iced tea, and some flavored sweet teas. I found the patio very comfortable during my meal and there was good people watching. read more

My 90 year old mom loves pizza and so do we! Vistited your place on Friday, December 19th. We are new to the area, and discovered your place earlier in the week. The pizza was delicious. I'd give it an A. What wasn't acceptable was that we were bluntly/rudely asked to move(slender female employee with gray, braided hair,) from the "only large table" due to 2 couples and a 3 year old that had come in after us. We chose that table because it was easy to manuever around (my mom walks with a cane,) and it was a warmer spot. The ceiling fans and a/c vents were over the tables to the right of the door. My mom is very cold natured. It's very difficult at times taking my mom out to lunch or dinner. We didn't find your place very accommodating, warm and friendly, as we have so many other places in and around Blairsville. Your employee could have easily added a highchair to a table near the drink machines, as there were several 4 tops available. Instead, you make an elderly woman slowly get up, and move. We would like to try your place again. Hopefully, we'll experience a more welcoming atmosphere, instead of just a number. read more

Cool new addition to BVille - and one that's needed... this was our first visit and we had a pie (see pic), which had great flavor and soooo many options for toppings. The cherry peppers and sausage on my 1/2 were amazing and fresh (also hot/spicy). The place is right next to LaLas and Blairsville Brewery, which is a great location. We got the recommendation from the owner of BB and happy we did. Pizza Belly happily delivered our pie to BB and it was nice to enjoy a hot fresh pizza with a great selection of beers at BB. It took 30 minutes for the overworked staff to take our order. We waited just over an hour before we asked about it and were told that they gave our order to someone else. It's two minutes after closing time and we're still waiting for our two small pizzas. This restaurant cannot do dine in and takeout orders. Pick one and do that. read more

The pizza is fantastic, some of the best I've ever had anywhere. But if the owner/manager isn't present, I recommend ordering your pizza to go rather than dining in. The last two times I've been, the music is cranked up so high that is impossible to speak to your dinner partner. And to make it worse, it's an awful, ear splitting rap garbage that might be great for teenagers, but painful for more mature diners! I've politely asked the staff to please turn it down so we could hear each other speak at our table, only to get a major eye roll . Tried this place and was not impressed. My husband and I walked in and got no greeting at all. There were about 5 kids working behind the counter. The temperature inside felt hotter than outside and outside was 88 degrees. I understand you have a pizza oven but you have to figure out the a/c issue! We sat ourselves, looked at the menu and decided what we wanted to eat. My husband then walked up to the counter expecting someone to take his order but he stood there instead for what I thought was an awkward amount of time. He finally asked someone if there was anyone to take our order. One of the guys answered up and told someone else to take the order. He placed the order for a pizza, a calzone, and a beer. The beer wasn't cold as though it had just been placed in the fridge. The cheese calzone was decent but then the cheeseburger pizza was actually gross. I'm pretty sure the ground beef was bad as it had a rotten flavor and smell. I would not come back here. The service was subpar and the pizza's ground beef topping did not taste fresh ! read more
