Minimal ice, just enough to keep the drink ice cold but not take up half your tea.Got there during the lunch rush with 2 groups 5 teas in front of us. Makes me feel like I'm at the beach. There's plenty of seating inside with music playing and a few televisions on. The menu is typical of other boba places. I love that they have almond milk!! Super cool vibe, garage door opening front makes you want to chill at My Tea for hours and they have free WiFi. Also, if you need a warm snack they have a selection of appetizers to choose from. We got our bobas and they also have us a small bag of popcorn, compliments of My Tea. I also like that they give you options of either powdered, whole milk, coconut milk and or almond milk to choose from. Nice amount of bobas in the drink as well. The high tops, regular tables and hangout loungy seating areas are the same. The quality of the boba is very good. Customer service is what has GREATLY IMPROVED. You can tell the girls and guys behind the counter care are passionate about their jobs, enjoy working together, enjoy the products they are selling and serving and want each customer to feel comfortable while they are there. I can say whatever growing pains were being experienced at first have notably improved. From what I learned at times live entertainment is offered and if you go at the right time you may even get a free little baggie of popcorn served up with your drink of choice. After a couple tries I was able to get in and get some tea. A bit jaded from my first few attempts to spend a few bucks here, I had to keep trying mostly because they're so close by. I've never tried their shaved ice, just their teas. They're slightly less expensive for their boba tea than other spots, but they charge you for things like coconut milk and "blending" your tea into a slushy. All in all, they've worked through some of those issues with things like, staying open, and attending to their customers in line that I had my first two or three visits to the shop. I've been 5 or 10 times since. Today, the staff is friendly, the drinks are quick and they are faster service than the nearby shops, mostly because there usually isn't a huge line. Their drinks are okay, the location is great because it is right off Central, and parking absolutely sucks. What's even worse is that you can't really study here because a lot of the high school kids come here after school and just sit at this place and screw around, so it's hard to get work done. This place has serious issues with handling customer complaints. Dani was my cashier. I ordered wings and was told it would take 20 minutes. I also ordered fries, which were scheduled to take 7 minutes. After ten minutes, I received the fries. I never received the wings. After 35 minutes, I was told by the cashier (Dani) that she did not think I wanted to wait for the wings and, therefore, she did not charge me for them. I asked her why on earth would she ask me about an 8 piece verses a 4 piece if I did not want the wings. I asked her why would I choose the ranch and barbeque dips if I did not order the wings? She responded by telling me that I should just be happy that I did not pay for them. I told her that I was not happy about my lost time and that customer service demanded more than her telling me what I should be happy about. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that he was just too busy to speak to me. I asked for a telephone number to reach the manager by phone and was told by Dani that she could not give me his number. I told her that I was seeking the telephone number for the business -- not a personal number. She responded by telling me to Google it. This was by far the worst customer service that I have ever received! It is bad enough that the fries were greasy. At the very least, the manager should have been willing to deal with the issue. What's different about this place than others is that you get to pick your flavor with the milk tea, green or black tea, type of milk and any other additions (boba, lychee, etc). Oh, boba, where have you been all my life? I like to chew my drinks. It's why I have chia seeds at work and home. I got the mango boba tea with regular sweetness while my friends ordered chai boba and chocolate boba. Overall, it was sweet but not overly sweet and they gave you a good amount of tapioca balls in the tea. They also gave out complimentary popcorn with the tea. It states additional toppings but doesn't state what they are. Upon asking, it is jelly and popping Boba. We got 2 milk green tea base drinks. It is extremely powdery on top.
