We were able to try the wings with papaya salad, the chicken curry noodle soup (khao poon) and the thick udon soup (khao piak). The khao poon was ever so slightly sweet, but that's nothing that a little fish sauce can't fix. The khao piak here is top tier! And the chicken wings with papaya salad are always my go to. I would like to start off by saying I really like the atmosphere, plenty indoor seating, cute decor, great music (overhead speaker not live, don't get too excited lol), just a place you could sit and chill at which to me is a huge plus. The baked goods seemed to be a small selection, I got cream puffs which were alright, not as amazing as I thought but not bad at all just not enough cream. I also ordered the milk tea boba which was nice enough but not wow, still enjoyable. I did not order food but might be coming back to do so and try other things and update my review accordingly. Seasons has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. For the price, you'd be hard pressed to find somewhere with comparable portion sizes and quality of ingredients. Seasons offers a wide variety of dishes, but my favorites are their Pho and Báhn Mì. No matter what you get, they don't seem to skimp on meat or vegetables. The restaurant itself is great, the booths are comfortable, and it's always quiet, it's also very clean. COVID precautions are being taken seriously too. The staff are always nice, and you never have to wait too long for your food (except for the Báhn Mì sandwiches). Overall, I would definitely recommend Seasons. read more

Every time I'm in the area I have to stop by! Their food and drinks are always on point. This place is a self serve joint. You order at the counter pick a table and sit. Grab your own water & your own condiments and clean up after yourself. Prices are very reasonable too! They have Vietnamese food and Lao/Thai cuisines. Drink menu is pretty huge, plenty of variety. For drinks, I usually order a Vietnamese iced coffee or a winter melon black iced tea with grass jelly. Both are soo good! The winter melon is very refreshing and the Vietnamese iced coffee always hits the caffeine spot. I've had papaya salad, lao sausage, stuffed chicken wings, fried chicken wings, beef larb, spring rolls and banh mi. Every thing except the spring rolls met my standard and more. The spring roll is filled with more vermicelli noodles and lettuce than anything else, so I'll pass on that. Although the restaurant isn't large, there's plenty of seating and a small cafe area with snacks and other goods. I went with two friends, but we decided to order and take out because of a time crunch. We were very impressed with the prices; a banh mi costs around $4. I ordered a roast pork banh mi, which had the perfect amount of pork in vegetables on a toasty bun! Even though they had an arrangement of desserts, we just ordered a variety or bubble teas. I ordered the Thai tea with boba, which had a nice combination of tea and milk. It wasn't the best bubble tea, but I would still order it again! Their boba wasn't too mushy, and was very chewy, which is the best consistency. I was a little disappointed at the speed of Seasons, since their food is made to order. Seasons is one of the better Vietnamese cafes in the St. Pete area. They have an extensive menu for a small cafe. You can get full rice plates, noodle bowls, banh mi sandwiches, and desserts. You order at the cashier, pay, and choose a seat to where your food will be delivered to you. All their foods are fresh and made to order. I've been here a few times, and the employees are all very friendly and accommodating. I enjoy their banh mi sandwiches. I usually get the special, which has cold cut meats (pork roll, head cheese, and jambon) with the pickled veggies. I also got Brian's Special, which has grilled pork and egg. I love both sandwiches, and they are always made fresh right at the counter. You can also customize to your taste (for instance, I skip the jalapeño). Seasons also has a desserts menu with something for everyone! They have shaved ice, bubble tea and slushies, coffee, and regular teas. You can get different toppings on the bing soo, like crushed Oreos, gummies, nuts, and various other candies. They cook their boba just right; they're not too chewy (I'm very picky about my boba). I ordered their Thai iced coffee and liked it. They put a lot of condensed milk in it, which is nice that they don't skimp, but it made it too sweet for my taste. Next time, I will ask for less, but it was a delicious drink regardless. The inside of the restaurant is somewhat small; the tables get filled easily during peak meal hours because there's only about 10 tables inside. You can also take your food to go. I ordered the chicken wings and papaya salad. It was ok but nothing crazy. I ordered it for take out so it might have been even better eating it in the restaurant. The chicken smelled good. Some crispy left on it when I ate it after an hour. The papaya salad had good flavor and I asked for two peppers but should have gotten more. I like my salad spicy. Both plates came with rice wrapped in plastic wrap. I would like to see more spice to the chicken. I will try the sandwiches next time. This is a great viet food spot. The location can be hard to get to but they make great food at great prices. I do like the seasons special but sometimes it's hit or miss. My sandwich lacked taste. When asked if the meat was suppose to have a sauce like the menu listed, my waiter said no but would bring me a chili sauce. I didn't end up using the sauce. Sandwich was dry. Our boba teas did not have enough ice, therefore not cold enough. So, the waiter offered to add more ice and reseal the tops. Boba teas have higher expectations now that there are many chains out there perfecting the process. So, a small establishment like this one cannot meet my expectations for, taste, sweetness and ice proportion. Service good, food filled up and teas quenched our thirsts. Finally checked out Season's after so many people kept coming here. I was pretty satisfied. It is a cute little place with a menu for warm food, as well as a menu for drinks. They have boba tea, shaved ice drinks, and premium teas. They also have various snacks that are pre-packaged for your convenience, and they sell loose leaf tea. This place gets quite busy, but just stand in line, then order your food, and they will bring it to you. They have a nice outside area too, so you can sit outside, or being with your doggie. Upon my most recent visit to Seasons Cafe to show my friend the local offerings, I was able to get takeout so I could try the peanut chicken curry entree. As always, the staff at Seasons were pleasant, helpful, and patient during my visit. Our shaved ice, boba, and take out were delivered to our table in a few short minutes The next day when I had the generous portion of chicken curry for lunch, it was delicious and pleasantly spicy. In addition, the price was very reasonable for the quality and amount at $7.25 (I believe). I will definitely return to try more of the entrees. After visiting Seasons multiple times. There is really only once reason why I visit regularly: Seasons is the only place in the Tampa Bay area to order shaved ice dessert of this style. The Bing Soo/BaoBing, or shaved ice, at Seasons only comes in one flavor--- lightly sweetened milk ice. The different toppings to order changes the flavor profile of the dessert dish. I am also really happy to see that they recently added custard cubes as a topping option. The toppings and combinations offered at Seasons remind me more of the Korean version than the Taiwanese version. While, I am not a fan of their teas or food, I am a huge fan of Season's Bing Soo. read more

We've been coming to Seasons since they opened but it looks like there are new owners and cooks. The drinks are still good but I can not say the same for the food. The Pad Thai was a box of bland noodles and panang chicken was watery and lacked flavor. Our only decent dish was the chicken wings and sticky rice. This was really disappointing because we have enjoyed Seasons food for many years. Service was very slow and the employees seemed lost and overwhelmed at one point. I was told my pick up would be ready in 10-15 mins but still had to wait 30 mins after I arrived. I CRAVE Seasons Cafe everyday of my life! I drive all the way from Tampa just to come here and the Boba is so good that I have to get two: one for the drive home and one to enjoy at home. They have an entire Boba menu that lets you pick your toppings and your tea or smoothie.... My favorite is the green tea with peach popping boba, regular boba and basil seeds. I wish they did even bigger sizes for their boba containers because I just can not ever get enough! Their chicken wings..... oh gosh I dream about their chicken wings. Your rich Vietnamese auntie busts through the door with the typical: taro smoothie with Boba and rainbow jelly and a Banh Mi Thit Nuong. Your whole family gathers around to re-watch some Paris by Night for the 5th time, and the neighbors file a noise complaint. Seasons has been a staple for the Asian-American community in St. Pete for literally ever. It was one of the first joints in the area to make bubble tea a thing, and it's known for its classic Vietnamese dishes; such as Banh Mi and Pho. Needless to say, everyone I know holds Seasons in a very special place in their heart and their food will never get old. While it's not the best Banh Mi or Pho you can get anymore, it's definitely still a safe pick when it comes to Vietnamese food. As for the drinks, they could be better as well. As the years went on, bubble tea has gotten significantly popular, so now there are established shops in St. Pete that are way more known for their Boba more than Seasons. However, it doesn't mean their drinks are bad. It's just that Ding Tea's Jasmine milk tea will likely be better, but Seasons' taro smoothie will still always be as good as 5 years ago. The grilled pork salad (pork & vermicelli) was exquisite! I'd LOVE to learn how to prepare fish sauce in their style. It was sweet, light, & had a tiny bit of kick. The herbs they selected were an excellent combination. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed when fish leaves are added in some other restaurants, but was relieved to discover they didn't include them. Came here on a Saturday night with 4 tables seated . Ordered two small drinks and an appetizer order of spring rolls with only pork since I am allergic to shrimp . Stood there to wait 30 minutes while they got the spring roll order wrong twice. I come from a house where we can roll out 30+ spring rolls in 30 minutes. Especially with the ingredients already cut up and prepped. Asked the server if it was going to be any sooner since I have plans for the evening and this was supposed to be a quick stop and the response was "I'm sure it'll be out soon" ‍ if you really love the slushy's smoothies tea and Vietnamese food , I suggest you order in advance. Rain during our Florida vacation meant Plan B. We went to Pinellas Park to see a movie and found a great place for pho and boba! The pho broth was clean with plenty of noodles, fresh basil and bean sprouts. My only suggestion would be to include limes and sliced jalapenos. Those might be available upon request, but we ordered carry-out so we didn't discover this until we got to our hotel. The boba (we had lychee, strawberry-banana, and mango in our group) was perfect. The sweetness was just right, and the boba was the perfect texture - not over-cooked or too chewy. The pad thai was OK, and the Korean short ribs were OK as well. We thought the flavors were just a bit off - a little too peanut in the pad thai and not enough garlic in the beef. Service was a little slow for a place with such high ratings, but the young man who was at the registered apologized and mentioned hiring a third person to help with the dinner shift. Been here a few times before and it's always a safe bet for a chill spot and boba. It's located in a small lot across 19 on parkside and can be pretty easy to miss if you're not looking for it. It shares a parking lot with a few other stores and parking can be a problem when it's busy. There's a lot of seating for the size of the store, but it doesn't feel crowded. The decor is nice, the atmosphere is ambient, and the place is kept clean. The service is also alright and the lady taking order is nice. Food. For a small store, they have a huge menu with a ton of variety for boba. I've tried their peach, taro, and milk tea with my favorite being milk tea. The boba tea is better than average, but it doesn't really stand out all too much. The tapioca balls are well cooked and consistent. The tea part of the boba is okay. While I liked the peach and the milk tea, my taro boba was really thick. I've had their bahn mi and pad thai as well and they are both incredibly underwhelming. There's really nothing wrong with it but it doesn't taste as good as it looks and there's nothing about it that makes it stand out. There is adequate seating inside for several parties and you place your order at the front counter as opposed to being waited on. I got the chicken bahn mi. The bread was definitely freshly made: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The meat and the veggies were also fresh and of high quality. I also go the boba tea to wash down the sandwich. Okay so I'm not even sure where to even begin with this review. But my visit today was very awful to say the least. And that's saying a lot especially since I've been coming here since 2011! A one star rating is too much for this visit today. I ordered a taro strawberry with boba, 2 sugarcane juice and 1 order of chicken skewers. First of all it took 45mins to fill this order, mind you they weren't busy at all. My smoothie came with no boba and my chicken was way over cooked. When I asked the lady working the counter to remake my smoothie with Boba she had a nasty attitude and was mumbling something under her mask. When I asked if there was a manager present she told me no she was in charge. After going back-and-forth with her for about 15 minutes she finally remade my smoothie came over and slammed it down on the table. I'm not sure if this place is under new management or what but after today I doubt I'll be coming back to this establishment. Ordered a white tea with basil seeds with a Season's special banhmi and it did not disappoint! It was the first time I tried basil seeds and I like it! Texture is similar to granadilla. The banhmi had a flaky warm baguette with melt-in-your-mouth meats (pork roll, head cheese, jambon). It tasted even better because it was so dang cheap ($3.99). Love it and cant wait to come back to try the other items. Pro tip: you can ask for different levels of sweetness for you drinks. I asked for my white tea to be 50% sweet which provided just a hint of sweetness to the tea.
