My family goes here every time they are in town (multiple times a week) since they discovered it in 2021. This place is authentic, the menu is extensive and has lots of variety, and is overall very good! The pho has excellent flavor, my brother gets its everytime and he's very picky on his pho. This Vietnamese restaurant is our new favorite in the neighborhood! We went on a Sunday night at 7 PM and it was decently packed, but we seated right away. The service was super fast and the restaurant was very clean and cute on the inside. Definitely has a good ambience for dining in. Started with the egg rolls and the pork bun, which were both super good. Then I had the seafood for which had so much in it and the broth was delicious. There was so much flavor. My boyfriend had the combo dish which the meat had a lot of flavor and again the dish was loaded up with so many different items. I went here around 6:30 on a Wednesday night. The place wasn't busy and we were seated quickly. The person taking our order was kind and patient with us. The wait time did take a while and is probably the only reason I'm giving it a 4 star instead of 5. It took a while for things to come out. We were wondering why it was taking longer than we expected and one of the people in my group decided to get up and ask how much longer it would take, but when we looked in the kitchen she only saw two people. We assumed they were short staffed maybe because it's a week day or someone called out. It's nice and clean on the inside. Plus there were tvs. Some playing sports and some playing a cartoon for kids. But when we did get our food it was so good. Like the best pho I've had in years. I usually put a lot of different things in my broth but on its own it was amazing. Best pho spot in all the county. Unbelievable service every single time and food that will leave you wanting to visit every day of the week. Their dishes are so incredibly fresh that it's hard to find anything quite like it. Their juices and teas are made fresh right there. My boyfriend got a fresh squeezed orange juice.. I thought it was just buzzwords. But no they juiced oranges right there. It was the best orange juice we've ever had and so good I had to get one and we took one home. Giant serving sizes for pho here. The Large bowl is about 1.5 times the size of the regular so you can definitely get at least two meals out of it if you take home the rest. Tasty Pho is a popular Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered Stir-Fry Noodles with Shrimp. The server was very personable & fun. And the food presented well & was a good portion. So maybe it's me. I was expecting a flavor explosion. Instead this dish was super dull. It had a clump of thin strand egg noodles in the center. They tasted like plain noodles. And the mix of broccoli, shrimp, cabbage, carrots, & other veggies tasted plain. The dish basically had no seasoning. It all tasted fine, but it was about as plain as a dish can be. I perhaps need to let them guide me toward something with more flavor next time I'm there. read more

I've dined in and gotten take out and my experiences are night and day. Dining in the restaurant is 5 stars. Food comes out hot, service has been prompt and they give you enough space to enjoy your food without bothering you. Veggies always fresh and plentiful. I've dined in a total of 3 times and have enjoyed each dine in visit. As for take out. 2 stars. Each time, I've had to wait a long time (20 mins no exaggeration) just to be given the bag that was sitting on the counter for 10 mins. That is super frustrating. Also with take out. I never seem to get enough veggies. Not sure if that's one purpose or not. But when I've ordered. The veggie portion was vastly different from take out to dine in. Which if you don't get enough veggies in pho. Whats the point? It wasn't even busy in the restaurant when I went. So I'm not sure why the service was so poor. Not like they had a ton of online orders. Only 2 bags were put on the counter. On a side note. I'm very disappointed you can't just buy broth. Why can't I just buy a bowl of broth? I know there's plenty. If I prefer your restaurant, and the taste of your broth. Why deny me broth only and make me buy a entire pho? Seems like missed opportunities. For people stuck with a broth only diet. But it's not my business. I'm just a customer. The restaurant is clean and the bathroom is clean. That's a huge plus. I moved to this area about 2 years ago. Within that time, I probably dined at Tasty Pho about 20 times. From the very first time then to my most recent visit on 3/23/25, this restaurant is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the this area....maybe one of the best overall for casual dining. The place is always very clean. I don't know if I have ever been in another Vietnamese restaurant that is cleaner. The servers are friendly and very attentive. Food looks great and tastes even better. My favorite is the 'nem cuon' as appetizer and of course special pho. And cannot forget to mention that the restroom is pristine. Tasty Pho is my 3rd favorite Viet restaurant in the Tampa Bay Area. Service is quick and efficient the 3 times that I've been here. Restaurant is quite nice and well kept and maintained on the inside. The food is solid and portion sizes are quite generous. Unlike some of the other Viet restaurants, Tasty Pho places more focus on stew dishes and congee, in addition to the many types of pho that they have. Their Rice Vermicelli is really excellent as well. I got the combo rice vermicelli and the shrimp was well grilled. The grilled pork was tender and flavorful. The egg roll had nice crispness. The place smells amazing. I only ordered spring rolls and they were about the same as any place ( hard to mess those up) service and price were great! The main part about the rolls is the dipping sauce. They serve it with a peanut sauce which isn't my favorite I like the fish sauce so he gave me both and both were just ok. The peanut sauce was probably one of the worst I've tasted. The fish sauce very disappointing because lots of people call it crack sauce because it's so good but theirs was just ok. I have literally been going into Tasty Pho for years. I may have spent thousands of dollars in there eating over that period of time. Lately when I go in the music is blaring loud for lunch. Almost like a disco tech. I just asked the server if he could turn it down he said he did not have the ability to do it Because he had to ask the manager. I told him I would probably leave if he didn't turn it down. He then grabbed a remote control from behind the cash register and turned down the volume. I basically just stood up and walked out. Needless to say I will not be spending any more of my money there. By the way, there was only one other person in the entire place because I came early for lunch. This is a solid place for Vietnamese food in Pinellas Park, and I approve of their large menu that has so many options not commonly seen at other places. But I don't think they are the best. We went for an early-ish meal on a Saturday evening. There was no wait for a table, but there was only one waiter serving the whole restaurant, so service was slow. We started with the egg rolls, the spring rolls, the fried shrimp rolls, and the fried chicken wings. Everything was very tasty, although these are standard appetizers that are usually good. I had the Tasty Pho. It was a huge portion. There was a lot of meat. I didn't think the broth was the best. Something was missing that I couldn't quite put my finger on, and doctoring up the broth with hot sauce, lime, basil, and jalapeno didn't bring it to where I wanted it. My husband had the shrimp stir fried noodles. He thought the shrimp was not very fresh and also overcooked. My son had the grilled pork banh mi, and he liked the fresh veggies in the sandwich. We also ordered a smattering of drinks from the menu. My daughter loved her strawberry chia tea (I stole a sip and thought it was very tasty). My son really loved his orange cream slushie. We stopped by to get our typical Tasty Vermicelli (#351 on the menu). It is rice vermicelli noodles with grilled shrimp, grilled pork and an egg roll. Tonight I had dinner at Tasty Pho! This is my second time here and once again, the meal was impeccable and the service was delightful. I tried something different and thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. My friend had the beef Pho, with the rare steak, and I had the combo tapioca noodle soup. This had pork, shrimp, fish cakes and a quail egg! The broth was delicious, the noodles had a delightful texture and the meats/fish were cooked to perfection! I added some basil & bean sprouts and some fresh lime. My friend added the sprouts, basil & jalapeños to his! We feasted like kings! The atmosphere is fairly quite, relaxed & the restaurant was clean and cozy! We have passed by here while eating at other places in the shopping center or going to the Asian market and finally decided to stop in. The restaurant is located in the middle of a large stip center and has a mix of booths and some tables. When we arrived about 5:00 pm on a weeknight, there were about three tables seated. The waiter brought us menus and water right away but seemed to disappear just as quickly. Once he returned, we each ordered the Traditional Spring Rolls ($5.50). Each order came with two good-sized fresh spring rolls filled with shaved Pork, Shrimp, Vermicelli, Bean Sprouts, and Mint. They were also served with a dish of Peanut Sauce. The rolls were fresh, packed with a good amount of ingredients, and held together nicely. The Peanut Sauce was just okay - it just lacked flavor. For our entrees, I ordered a Grilled Chicken Bahn Mi ($6.90), and my husband ordered the Broken Rice Plate with Grilled Chicken ($11.90). The service was very odd. The waiter who took our order was also taking telephone orders and helping people with takeout. From where I was sitting, I saw him take our order, stop to answer a phone order, and then was stopped by a guest leaving who had grown impatient waiting for their check. Our appetizers seemed to take a very long time for a cold dish. When they arrived, the server said he'd be back with more water and disappeared again until after he brought out our entrees. Then he started to bring the water and stopped at the two tables along the way with water, only to get distracted and forgot to come back. When our entrees came, they were just okay. The bread on the Bahn Mi was excellent, perfectly crisp on the outside, and filled with plenty of Vegetables, but just a tiny portion of Chicken that really lacked flavor. My husband's Broken Rice dish came with three piles - one of Rice, one of plain steamed Broccoli, and one of the same sliced Chicken I had on my Sandwich. In the center was the Garlic Fish Sauce, but not the side Soup that comes with the dish. Being completely underwhelmed with the flavor of the food and the service we just finished our meals and flagged down the server for our checks. Not sure exactly where he had gone but a waitress appeared from nowhere and processed the credit card. There are too many other local Pho places along 49th street for us to want to rush back here to try their Pho. read more

The broth is what makes amazing pho in my opinion and their broth is amazing! I loved the seafood minus the calamari (had them take those out). My mom, my friend, and I came here after being discriminated by the staff at Pho Kien Giang. We arrived here, with my service dog, and the staff member asked me for an identification card for my service dog. I directed him to ada.gov's website and told him that "[s]taff cannot ask about the person's disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the dog, or ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task." However he can ask "two questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform" to which I provided answers. He nodded and immediately seated us. So let's talk about the food. My mom had the grilled shrimp vermicelli bowl, my friend had the combo vermicelli bowl, and I had the grilled pork chop with broken rice. OMG. Our taste buds were ALIVE. I haven't had grilled pork chop as flavorful and delicious since NOLA. The menu here is thorough. My friend and I are determined to come back and eventually eat everything on the menu.
