Lotus salad(shrimp and pork) with shrimp chips
    Rachel M.

Enjoyed our lunch here at Pho Ha Tien. We first stopped at Beangood Coffee which is a few doors down, & looking at their menu, we knew this would be a good choice. First impression was they were very welcoming. I asked to sit in the corner booth that just cleared up rather than sitting by the window. They quickly cleaned that table and we sat down. Their menu is very clear and concise and there's a lot of options. We ordered the Shaken Beef with no onion and the Lotus Salad with Shrimp and Pork which also comes with shrimp chips. Both were very tasty. Now just picture this, the news said it was the first record broken for the hottest day of July so far like over 100 degrees. Even so, lots of people still ordered Pho soup. That sure wasn't us, but I was so amazed bc it was just too hot and that's why I ordered my Lotus Salad which was very refreshing. We had great service & great food! Glad we finally checked them out! They have booths and tables here. Especially with large groups, they definitely had huge tables and could move them around. It was pretty spacious.

New spot for wifey and I to try out. I'm sure this has been is for a while. It is off of Park Blvd. They have a nice open space and a few booths if you rather eat in semi private. Prices are fair and they have multiple options on the menu. I saw ox tail pho so I had to get it. When you walk in you're immediately greeted by one of the wait staff with a friendly smile. The food was delicious!! I am so full hahaha will definitely be coming here again. It's also on the way home from work so I can swing by to pickup a togo order.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and it was super tasty and we were glasses we stopped in. The pho was tasty and my wife's noodle salad was also good. Service was fast and efficient and the place was clean.

I recently had a pretty disappointing experience at this place. I ordered mixed stir-fried noodles, but they brought out mixed stir-fried rice noodles instead. When I pointed it out, the staff insisted that I ordered it wrong, even though I'm sure about what I ordered. What frustrated me the most was how they handled the situation. Instead of double-checking or offering to fix the mistake, they still brought the same dish from the kitchen and did not offer to change it at all. I understand mistakes can happen, but the way this was handled felt unprofessional and disrespectful to the customer. I hope the restaurant improves their service and attitude.

This restaurant is very clean and nice. I ordered the beef tip pho. The bowl came out and looked amazing I only wish the beef was cooked to a "fall off the bone" tenderness. To each his own but I like it to melt in my mouth. Their menu was vast and everything looked amazing. I will return and try the non meaty beef pho's.

I had the com tam dac biet today... I couldn't eat the shrimp cake, egg cake, or the bi--it all smelled/tasted old. Service is okay. There are plenty of people working on Sundays. Last time I was here, I tried the ha tien ba vi. It was also not good.

We initially were going to another restaurant that was too busy and hot, and my friend suggested this place. It's much quieter and cooler, great prices and food. Best Thai tea I've had in a long time.

This is the first time I tried Pho Ha Tien Vietnamese food and I am so happy that I did! Since I was unfamiliar with Vietnamese food I had a lot of questions. The hostess was very patient with me even though her English was not very good she kept at it until she properly answered my questions. For educating me about the various choices she got a $5 tip even though I ordered takeout and did not get table service. Lately, I've been complaining that customer service is disappearing from the restaurant business. Well there are some exceptions to that and Pho Ha Tien is one of them! I would have dined in, but I arrived less than 1/2 hour before closing so had to settle for carry out. The Cha Gio egg rolls ($4.99 for 2) were small but tasty. Instead of the usual crunchy fried covering these were wrapped in rice paper - a welcome touch because rice paper allows you to better taste the contents rather than deep fry oil. My Hostess/Teacher advised me to wet the rice paper with water before eating. The Tom Nuong Banh Hoi grilled shrimp we're cooked to perfection. With a tasty sauce, nuts, chives, and rice. There were well over a dozen shrimp and a salad which is a pretty damn good deal for $18.99. I'm sure I did not use all the tasty sauces and veggies the correct way but it was all thoroughly good and that's what counts. Next time I order this dish I will make sure I sit at a table so can be educated on the best way to assemble all these ingredients. The Menu is so full of good looking choices I could come here three or four dozen times and have something different every time!

So glad to have finally found an authentic Vietnamese spot with delicious food. We were craving pho the other day while it was raining and found this gem. The service here was friendly and fast! I was a bit disappointed that they ran out of the pho that had either oxtail or short rib with the bone ... it was recommended by my mom but they happen to sell out of it. What I ordered was still delicious. My bf and I both ordered the eye round and brisket pho and we loved it. We had also ordered the crispy egg rolls and they were delicious! We will be back again!

    Com neu

Come from Southern CA for family trip. Very picky on food. If you want good Viet food in the local area. You should try this restaurant. Legit pho and my kids love com suon bong. I love bun nam & com neu. Bo luc lac very tender.

Pho gà đi bộ was great. The chicken was solid meat. We also tried the pan fried noodle.. it was a little too much sauce for us. Over all great service. Definitely worth it.

Upon arriving we found access to the parking lot dangerous - The cutout from the street is almost upon the parked cars. Inside, we were struck by how Spartan and frankly dirty the place was. But as a guy, I figured I'd been in hole in the walls before this wasn't a big deal. My wife played along. The good news is that the appetizers are very tasty, and the pho was quite good. I chose pho ga, which isn't traditional Thai, but I like it, and requested it in beef broth. Delicious. My wife chose a pho ga "special dish" and it was also delicious. I have a hard time giving this restaurant and appropriate rating because the food was great but the place, frankly, isn't that clean. Makes you wonder what's going on in the kitchen and what's inside your food. The service was good, even though only one person was working in the place taking orders and serving up the food. Anyway, that's why I chose splitting the rating the way I did and giving it three stars. The fact is there are a lot of similar restaurants nearby, and as I try them I hope to find one that offers tasty food and is at least somewhat clean.

Man oh man, what a hard review to write here…read more Obviously I came for the name, what a fun and funny name. My family and our friends who were in town from England. We HAD to go so they could tell everyone at home. We got there and it was so silent in the dining room. Silent like a library.... My friends young children all of a sudden, by comparison to the vacuum of noise, sounded like steam trains blaring through intersections nonstop. We should by the reception counter for about 5 minutes before one of the staff finally welcomed us and told us where to sit. 3 other staff members had seen us and were visibly NOT making eye contact. Now, we are sat and going over the menu. About 6 minutes later, our waiter had come to ask if he could borrow one of our 5 menus for a new customer, explaining they don't have many menus. (Well, sure, no problem, we will share.) **weird though** *The waiter is on something. His mannerisms are weird, maybe he's just high, but he did some weird things with his foot and he sounded stoned. * Ok, he's back to take our order. Honestly he is nice as can be and patient. My family ordered both types of spring rolls, a dry vermicelli noodle, a pork, rice, egg dish and a #44 beef pho. He explained in great detail, a soursop beverage that my son wanted to try. It gets fun here. In a few spots in the restaurant, they advertise buttons/pins and shirts you can buy. How fun and funny to have a in that says "I survived Bich Nga". The signs say to pick which number of button you want and tell the waiter, so I tell him I'd like the number 1. Well. They don't sell them there. He says to order off of their Etsy or their social media. What a big bummer. The name is too funny to not have this for sale right there. My friend was especially bummed to not have one to bring home to England. Oh well I guess... they're missing out on this awesome way to make some extra money. Next he took my friends family's order, a pork and egg dish, a duck soup and a chicken noodle soup for their young kids. The food came out as it was done so it left our meals a little staggered but that's ok with me. Our spring rolls were super good, the dry vermicelli was good but a bit unexciting, it came with a couple sauces that were fantastic. The pork, egg, rice dish was phenomenal, seriously soooo good. Then he brought out my friends family's food. He came over about 10 minutes later to check on us and I told him we were still missing our pho. He was shocked. Went away for another 10 minutes and came back and checked on us. We were pretty much done by now. I told him we never got our pho but to go ahead and take it off the check. He was shocked and said "no, no" he came back with the duck soup that our friend had ordered and told us that they accidentally gave our soup to our friend and here is his soup.....(?) I don't want duck soup. My friend was cracking up as her husband had been commenting the whole meal about how he did not like his soup(my pho). He was full so handed a gently consumed bowl of beef pho towards our side. We tried it and it really needed our personal touch but as we were full now, I don't feel I can honestly review the pho. It was bland as it sat. So, duck soup, we had to try it as we were paying for it. It was good. Very oily as duck is, but tasty. The duck itself was not my favorite but the broth was very flavorful. Ok, another 20 minutes has gone by and we don't have a check. The library patrons are growing more and more annoyed with the freight train of children who are bored off their butts now. My friend and I take the kids out of there to freely make noise in the parking lot. On our way out, we walk past the "cashier" who again, AVOIDS EYE CONTACT. ???? We were so excited to be out of there. The whole vibe is off. The food is great. If you're looking for a perplexing experience that comes free with good food, I recommend you try this place. If you're looking for good food, great staff and a great ambiance, save yourself from coming here. I wanted to write a rave review but man was it just too awkward.

The wife enjoyed a small roast quail for $5 and a serving of 5 garnished clams in the shells for $10. She did not like the $15 garnished bowl of beef slices/pig elbow/cheap canned luncheon meat/and pig blood noodle soup as she says it lacked flavor and she was not thrilled with the cook wiping down the countertop and handling her food with the same gloved hands. I only had a skewer of 4 large chunks of grilled pork belly at $7 and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll come back just for the pork belly. The vendors all were very polite and patient as we had many questions about prices and portion sizes. There was a DJ kicking out several nice tunes with his mixer. Nice job whoever you are! You do need to be vigilant when it comes to product prices. For example, a vendor was selling grilled wieners on a skewer for $7 each without bun, or typical condiments. I instead opted for a huge Sam's club polish dog in a bun with large 30 oz. drink with napkins and all the condiments I needed, and I topped it off with a rotisserie chicken, all, for a total of $6.81. There are some vendors with already cooked food for sale before opening. Parking gets challenging after opening so I would recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before opening for a better chance for a parking space. Overall, I had a nice time at Saigon Summer Nights this winter with its fun lively atmosphere and tasty food, for the most part. We will be back for sure!
