Plenty of indoor tables for maybe 40, a full-bar pub on the far side with stools for a couple dozen, and some outdoor seating for about another dozen in a breezy covered hallway between buildings. At 11:30am on a Thursday, it had just opened. There were people there already, and it was packed by 11:45! It got really noisy, in a nice everyone-is-relaxed-here way. This place was new to us, and we knew all that was a good sign. We chose several crafts from about 50 varieties of beer, about a dozen on tap. We love that stuff, but our focus was the soup, and sure enough, the soup was very good! We chose among 4 soups which seemed to change daily, plus sandwiches and salads. The veggie soup could have done with some zingier spiciness. And though the chowder had a rich savory shrimp flavor, the quote of the night was, "i found a shrimp"! Yeah, none to be seen. As nursing students we can never find a place to study but here it was a different vibe. Very welcoming and very busy.
