Kung pow beef and veggies with spring roll
Eileen S.

Not too shabby for express Chinese. Fresh, spicy, tons of beef and hot. It's a great little fast food Chinese restaurant that we use once a month. And it's Christmas!

I've been here so many times and I don't have anything bad to say about it, until today. I decided to try the Mongolian beef which I've had at other places and underwhelming and not even worth eating is probably the way I would describe it. It's actually onions with a few pieces of beef. It is overwhelming in black pepper and I don't know if their normal chef is off for the night but highly disappointed. Even the lo mein was covered in black pepper which is weird.

Chicken and broccoli

In the mood for quick Chinese or sushi? Then this is your place, which has a very handy drive thru staffed by extremely friendly people. Prices are very fair and dishes are good. Ordered chicken and broccoli and it was good- chicken was a tad dry, but I assume that is due to cooking in advance to keep the wait times low. Edamame was fantastic and will be ordered again. I'd rate this a 8.5 out of 10, or a 4 out of 5.

I realize sometimes thighs can look pink. But this was slimy and not hot in the middle.

AVOID!!! This place used to slap. But I just got undercooked General Tso's chicken, and halfway through my wonton soup I realized they gave me pork not chicken wontons. Aside from being undercooked all the chicken would have been inedible anyways. All gross fatty, or super tough hard to cut through piece. This place is a joke now!

Chicken Wonton Soup Spicy Tuna Roll

Door dashed sushi and soup as my hangover meal post Gasparilla. The spicy tuna roll was buy one get one free (!!!) and was delicious. The chicken wonton soup also was so good and comforting and warmed my soul. And they gave free little crispies. So happy I discovered this place, will be ordering from again.

always a great experience at Chopstick. we always love their crab rangoons, and the dumplings are delicious. I got the chicken lo mein and it's enough for two meals for me. they're always so friendly when we go pickup, online ordering is so easy, and if you pay with cash on orders over $30, you get 5 free crab rangoons!

Great food. Fresh and fast. I will order again. Nice friendly people that put a nice place together where I think quality beats the price.

Be wary of the sushi. Friend got food poisoning after eating. Also the rice was very bland.

The spring rolls were lightly fried and really tasty, although a little soft inside. The gyoza had a nice sear and were very good, and the jalapeño bites were probably my favorite -- lots of flavor with just enough kick. I had the Coppola Pinot Noir. My first glass wasn't right, but they opened a fresh bottle for me and it was much better. Really appreciated them taking care of it without making it a big deal. The Pinot also went surprisingly well with the spring rolls. Service was friendly, the place has a casual comfortable feel, and the happy hour deals are really good. We came in mostly to check the place out and have a few small bites, but we'll definitely be back to try more of the sushi.

The lady that works there comes by & pours your soy sauce for you & everything. It's out of this world fabulously unique. My hubby & his office peeps orders from this place all the time. It's in a business park across from the convention center in an old old old ancient strip mall. It's got an old world pirate vibe.. Inside, the restaurant has hand built booths that look like you're on a pirate ship from another world! Arrrr! LOL What's even more hilarious is that the sweet little Japanese family that runs this place has kids & their kids have drawn all over the walls in pencil, all kinds of drawings. Each booth has Japanese kids "candy kids" graffiti all over the walls. Hahaha. I think it's so cute. It's like the twilight zone Japanese pirate ship with candy kids graffiti that serves fabulous LOBSTER & FILET MIGNON hibachi. My hubby's office won't order from anywhere else OuiOui :)... So, one day I decided to just go there & pick up some food. I ended up staying bc the restaurant is so freakin weirdly groovy. Warning: You might start talking like a pirate, ordering beers & sake & might have to uber home. (whistling sounds) It is no frills, but I love the way the chef here makes his sushi. I love his little yellowtail maki rolls, they are moi fave I get them everywhere I go. No one makes them smaller than Mori. They are so tiny & rolled so beautifully. I just want more & more Mori... Then, one day I find the "Mori Special LOBSTER FEAST" sushi roll!!!! OMG! Mori makes a PINK "Mori Special LOBSTER FEAST & tempura shrimp Sushi roll" !!!! :).... I love sushi & y'all KNOW I LOVE LOBSTER. I eat both, all the time & I have never found a better roll than the pink "Mori Lobster Feast & shrimp tempura roll." It's my absolute favorite roll of all time now. I have to have it every week. La vie en rose baby OuiOui. Yes, it's a hole in the wall Japanesee pirate ship from a long lost ancient world. However, if like moi, you find yourself in the back corner, reading the candy kids graffiti, drinking beer & sake & eating Moi Pink Mori Special Lobster Feast & shrimp tempura rolls, you might have to call a uber. No worries, I penciled the number for ya under "For a good time call" OuiOui. Hahaha. I highly recommend the lobster & filet hibachi & the "PINK Mori Special Lobster feast & tempura shrimp roll." Added to moi fave restaurants in the Tampa/St Pete area. Arrrr! :)... Highest Recommendations.

I would put it a level above grocery store sushi, but it definitely won't be the best you've ever had. Pricing, as I alluded to, is fair. The specialty rolls could be a little more interesting but there's some good ones on there. I have to say the most recent time I ordered I felt the quality had gone down a tad. The menu does have other food options besides sushi which are also decent. I've had the hibachi here previously and it helped my craving/had decent enough flavor. There's ample seating and parking in this plaza. The speed of the service is quick. It's a neighborhood joint - nothing too fancy on the inside. 6/10

We were there on a Friday night and were the only ones there. Music was extremely loud in a small space. Food was way over priced for the quality. I didn't catch any Mexican fussion vibes, but there were some margaritas on the drink menu. Music is still very loud for dining. We were shouting to each other from across the table to be heard. Sushi is fresh but expensive for a non downtown restaurant. Nigiri and sushi rolls came out for 3 of us and the 4th person who got a cooked salmon entree had to wait an additional 20 minutes for some reason. When the salmon finally arrived the other 3 people were finished their meals already. Awkward and no apologies were given. The salmon was way overcooked and very bland. It was a small portion, more of an app not entree sized. I didn't like the restaurant when it was Nomi Nori and I won't be returning as Casa Nori.

The soups, and there are always lots to choose from, are so hearty and taste homemade, but be prepared to take half your food home. Their sandwiches are massive. Low key pub, Excellent soup!…read more We found Stone Soup Cafe and Pub, St. Petersburg FL. It's at 42nd Ave., North in a little strip mall facing 16th St. and you really can only see it coming south on 16th St. I'll tell you where it is: about seven streets in and 7 half-streets north from the 30th Avenue North exit off 275. It's just off Haynes Road north, if you know where that is. Lots of parking It has a low-key pub look: dark, unassuming, cozy, lots of wood. Plenty of indoor tables for maybe 40, a full-bar pub on the far side with stools for a couple dozen, and some outdoor seating for about another dozen in a breezy covered hallway between buildings. At 11:30am on a Thursday, it had just opened. There were people there already, and it was packed by 11:45! It got really noisy, in a nice everyone-is-relaxed-here way. This place was new to us, and we knew all that was a good sign. We chose several crafts from about 50 varieties of beer, about a dozen on tap. We love that stuff, but our focus was the soup, and sure enough, the soup was very good! We chose among 4 soups which seemed to change daily, plus sandwiches and salads. The soups were veggie, shrimp corn-chowder/bisque, stuffed pepper soup, and mushroom soup. (Jun 2026). The veggie soup was good with tons of veggies. Several of us got shrimp bisque and liked the flavor a lot! Some got fresh crunchy caesar salad. One got a BST sandwich: "bacon spinach tomato". A nice stack of flavorful bacon, thin, perfectly crisp. Balsamic on the side. Very good! We had some minor thoughts: We expected toast in the BST, but is was bread. Good bread. But not toast. The veggie soup could have done with some zingier spiciness. And though the chowder had a rich savory shrimp flavor, the quote of the night was, "i found a shrimp"! Yeah, none to be seen. This soup was really worth it! Great flavors. Good prices. A nice T-shirt with a big pelican in Hawaiian shirt with a cocktail on the back! But i am giving it only 4-stars because of the missing shrimp. This is Florida! You can get shrimp. But dont be fooled by my whininess. We'll be back!
