The container was 3/4 filed with salty rice. Meal was disguised to appear as more. Perhaps blending them together is normal here. We always had rice in separate container and enough of the meat to split. VERY DISSAPPOINTED. 1/3 Sized serving and salty rice. Wonton was good. Rolls were good. This is good, NYC style & quality Chinese food. I judge Chinese restaurants on their fried rice - if the fried rice is lacking flavor, it's a sign that they're a bad place. This method of using their most basic dish has yet to let me down. Great Wall 2 has good to very good fried rice, and everything else we had was actually better. The pork egg rolls were the best we've had in years, not too oily, salty, or over stuffed. The mei fun was outstanding, they definitely cooked the noodles in broth. Was craving sesame balls and was glad to see they have them here. We placed an order for delivery, me and 2 co-workers. Everything was good except the sesame balls. They were fried way to long. They are supposed to be soft with penut paste in the middle. They were cooked so long, the middle was cooked out and hollow. Solid 3 star fast food Chinese. This is not as bad as the reviews say. The food is standard. There is a language barrier which I think is what most people have confused with "rude" service. They are very friendly, just have difficulty communicating in a non-native language (at least that was the experience that I had). Ordered curried chicken, teriyaki, and some eggrolls with soup...I never got that order This was my first and last time ordering food from here. Delivery was quick, I'll give them that, but the order was wrong. When I called in they said I can have a free meal on them for the mistake. I said, okay "I want that free meal now" (they also offer free delivery for orders over 12.00$) my food came out to 14.87$, 18.87$ with tip. I placed a delivery order for chicken chow mein, broccoli with garlic sauce, and chicken with garlic sauce. They only sent ONE correct order to us, the chicken with garlic sauce. The other two orders were beef with garlic sauce and chicken and cabbage with no noodles. When I called back to ask if they could resend the order and I would give them the incorrect orders back, she yelled and stated that chicken chow mein DOES NOT include noodles, only lo mein does. I'm not Chinese, but I'm pretty sure that "chow mein" translates to "fried noodles." I would recommend never ordering from this restaurant if you want a correct order.. or chow mein WITH noodles. They said the only way they would correct the order was if we brought it back to them.. which doesn't make sense because we ordered delivery and they messed up. Awful! The delivery guy could not figure out how to get up to my place. Go through the door and take the elevator to the third floor. He was pacing the parking lot. The delivery time was average, friendly and my order was accurate. I did not have trouble understanding the girl on the phone or the delivery guy. Other reviewers commented that this was an issue for them.The price was fair. I ordered crab Rangoon, hot and sour soup, plus a kung poschicken combo plate. The portion sizes were generous and there was enough for seconds. Too bad I fell asleep by the pool and my leftovers got cook the second time by the sun! My grand total was $13 plus tip. Reasonable. The crab Rangoon was not crisp Nor had adequate filling. Overall it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. The hot and sour soup was delicious. The pork eggroll was satisfactory. I will like that they actually do a thick egg roll crust. Just needed a little more seasoning. The dipping sauce was too sweet for the crab Rangoon. The Kung Poa chicken was satisfactory. The chicken was fresh and there was plenty of it. The green pepper still had a crunch to it. The sauce could have used a bit more seasoning.The rice was nothing special. All in all not a fabulous place but a place that will satisfy your cravings. I also like that they delivered it in a box. 0 STARS.....I called last evening to order food to be delivered I started to ask different questions about things that I did not know about the menu the gentleman has put on the phone to talk to me an answer questions or short with me and hung up on me I called back and he hung up again. Not sure why he refused to answer my questions and why he didnt want to take a delivery order from me. He told me he had my number on caller id and would continue to hang up on me if I called back. I have heard of lazy but this is ridiculous. I know calling at the end of the evening when you want to go home can be frustrating. I am in the service industry as well. My first, and last experience here. I called in my order on a Saturday evening and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I went in to pick my food up and I was the only customer there. I was told it would be 10 more minutes. After looking around, I realized that the place was not very clean. The chair I sat on was very old and tattered and the table was sticky.
