I'm never picky when it comes to pho. All I care about is a hot broth full of flavor, lots of noodles, and a good portion of beef. My Pho seems to have that down! | MENU & PARKING | My boyfriend and I came here 30 minutes before closing time and they still sat us. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking so it didn't take long for us to find a spot and get seated. Their menu is located inside an incredibly thick holder that has laminated pages. I love that it's very easy to read and the prices aren't as obscure. I also love that they have a small and large portion of a bowl of pho. | THE FOOD | Pho rare steak, flank, and brisket ($7.75, small): I loved my bowl of pho. It came out so quickly, in perhaps five minutes or less! Because my boyfriend wasn't eating pho I got to take advantage of an entire plate of bean sprouts, limes, and mint! The broth is incredibly hot which I love and it is also flavorful. The meats come out rare, which cook over time (faster if you put noodles on top), but I really didn't like how fatty the brisket pieces were. Charbroiled porkchop with rice, egg roll, and veggies ($8.45): PASS. The porkchop was cooked far too long and was very dry. They offered a vinegar dipping sauce which served to be its saving grace, but the lackluster taste left me feeling regretful. Comes with a small cup of rice and a way over cooked egg roll. Overall, this dish was not the best on the menu so I would not recommend it. | FINAL THOUGHTS | Overall, I did enjoy my meal here with the exception of the pork chop that my boyfriend ordered. I would strongly recommend sticking to the pho or trying out the new phorrito (pho burrito) on the menu. One thing I noticed is that they have signs plastered all over that day "Cash preferred, cards hurt small businesses." This was a little awkward for me as I do not usually carry cash with me, and I'm not sure if they charged me extra for paying by card (if they did, they certainly didn't tell me.) The service was good, pho was like any other pho, the noodles were really stuck together even in the broth, but the meal was good. The chicken pho at least came with all white meat and i was able to get my steak and tripe. It was 2 of us, so we thought nothing of it, until the bill arrived and it was almost 50 dollars for the 2 of us, be careful when ordering Thai teas here, they are almost 9 dollars a cup!!!! Great service from this small shop. We were immediately seated and taken care of and the food arrived in no later than 5 minutes. The phó was pretty good but the brisket was not the best quality. We also got the combination fried rice which was amazing. The rice was soft and flavorful and was a very generous serving size. Would definitely come back and check out other dishes. read more

Finally checked off another bookmark on this cold, cloudy December night (12/28) when everyone and their brother was craving hot soup, and for good reason! Brrrr Chilly Willy the Penguin says get me some soup son! I dialed up the menu and since I was craving Pho but didn't have a souuuuuuper-sized hunger I went straight to the chase. I like beef and shrimp / seafood, but I'm normally a chicken fan / binger so I scanned their list only to find out they had not 1 but 2 kinds of chicken pho. Oh my Pho-king gawd! Decisions! XD Called up and put in a order of small-ish Pho and side of steamed rice. They said my total would be about 9.50 and ready lickety-split. Plus the people on the phone were super friendly and made me feel happy. The soup was tasty and they boxed it up nicely, with the meat, veggies, and noodles all packaged separately for proper mixing, freshness, and customizing per customer. There was more than ample broth and good helping of meat (about 10-12 pieces, equivalent to 1 average chicken breast), and I therefore couldn't even finish the "small" soup. Note I have a proper appetite and ability to knock things out when needed! To me it wasn't the absolute best broth of vietnamese soup I've ever had, but it was definitely tasty and warmed me up heartily. They close at 9:00 daily, so be sure to get your order in fast or else be prepared to make the long trudge to GG/Westminster for some late night soups. I actually suggest ordering while driving (though not necessarily at the same time), because this place is so fast that if you order at home, the food will be ready and cooling down by the time you are still leaving your driveway. I told them what I wanted and they literally said it would be ready in 5 minutes. Since it would take me 5 minutes to get ready and in my car, and 10 minutes to drive there I was kinda bummed cuz it wouldn't be piping hot anymore!! Oh noes.... lesson learned. This place is in Orange, directly across from In N Out. Which is very north Irvine/Tustin adjacent, since it's kind of a Pho/viet food dead-zone, it's very nice to have this in my very own backyard. I'll definitely be back to dine in and try more things since they have such a nice variety of menu choices (calamari and chicken wings I'm looking at you). This is probably the best pho place I've been to in the area. To begin, I got the calamari and "unforgettable" chicken wings. The calamari was crispy and went well with the sweet chili sauce it came with. For the chicken wings, yes it was unforgettable! The fish sauce glaze on the chicken was spicy and sweet. Not a lot of pho places in Orange, but this place is actually pretty good! $7.50 for a small $8.75 for a large. I ordered a small #13 which came with meat balls, brisket, and rare steak, and it was a very generous amount that filled me up. The broth was good, not too oily. The meat was soft and fresh. They also have nice decor, doesn't make you feel dirty. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee and it was in a big cup. Another local eateries in an unassuming strip mall in Orange. I was hungry and was actually going to grab a hot dog at PCH Hot Dog, but I noticed a pho shop. So I venture in. Overall, the food is surprisingly decent. The turneric fried fish is fresh and flaky with the right amount of dill. My kids had the shake beef and the vermicelli with grilled pork. The fish sauce mix was really good, and the cubed beef is tender. What I noticed is the manager/owner was very friendly and knew most customers by first name basis. It's a good sign when there are regulars frequent an establishment. Overall, the food is great and the staffs are customer friendly. And they do take the social distancing seriously with constant wipe down giving you the assurance that health and safety is on top of their list. read more

This Is a quaint pho establishment. They have good service but I am saddened that their vegetarian pho broth has MSG when I asked the server. We enjoyed the fresh veggie spring rolls.
