The food is good. We are visiting from Sac and maybe it's because we have been to a lot of pho restaurants, but it wasn't as delicious as other yelp reviewers have mentioned. Delicious, delicious, delicious! Love their pho! And everything basically on the menu. I've never waited more than 5 to 8 minutes for my food. Everything is done fresh on the spot. I didn't know this place existed until my mom asked me to grab lunch with her. We ordered the vermicelli (sorry for the spelling) combo shrimp with chicken, and to drink we had thai tea, milk tea, and a coconut water! O M G, the coconut water actually comes in a coconut! And you get a spoon to scrape off the meat. So refreshing for these hot days. Wasn't too busy but more parties started to enter after our arrival. The service is quick and friendly. The beef broth in the vegetarian pho tasted as if I was consuming heavily salted colored water. Couldn't taste anything but salt and warm water. I threw it out after my tongue went numb from the first few spoonfuls. The peanut sauce that came with the vegan spring rolls was tasty. The rolls were lettuce wrapped in rice paper, nothing else. Not sure what cuisine they were attempting with these rolls, perhaps they are only a mechanism to consume the peanut sauce? read more

By far the best chicken wings and banh mi I have ever had!!! I happen to be a fairly picky sandwich eater but The banh mi here is my favorite banh mi of all time. Everything goes together perfectly. The bread, meats and pickled vegetables have the perfect texture and taste. I think what makes it extremely special is the paste or secret spread that is on the bread. I hear it's pate and butter but whatever it is, it is pure magic. The unforgettable chicken wings definitely are named as they should be. I'm not a big fan of fish sauce but the fish sauce on top of chicken wings have made me change my mind about fish sauce. The wings are super crispy and sweet with just the right amount of saltiness. Ordered food from My Pho via GrubHub. The food is solid. Ordered Pho #12. The brisket is nice flavorful, they give big pieces of tendons which are soft. The egg rolls come 4/order. Nice meaty and peppery in flavor. The rice dishes are pretty standard. The pork has good charbroiled flavor. The service was great. For some reason they never received the pick up time, so they tried calling me a few times to confirm. Had to still wait for the order when we got there, but no biggie, and they were apologetic. read more

Pretty decent pho local joint. Good broth, good quality beef and good flavors overall. They just need to do a little better with their noodles which is mushy sometimes. My husband and I came for the pho burrito. It looked pretty cool when our friend posted a picture of it on Facebook. So, my husband ordered it and had the Vietnamese iced coffee. I recently became vegetarian and I was craving some pho. Most pho places I called have either beef broth or oxtail. I called this place to check on their broths and they have 3 options! Vegetarian, beef and I forgot the 3rd. I chose the veggie base and ordered some spring rolls. Most times when I order spring rolls they're mushy and super tiny. Not with these. I placed this order for pick up and when I got home my spring rolls were still crunchy. Let's not even talk about the sweet sauce to dip them in. Soooo delicious. Decent Vietnamese place near my house. Came here twice so far and ordered vermicelli both times--pretty standard stuff. The food is decently priced and the restaurant itself is very clean. I would say their menu has limited options as I was hoping to order broken rice the second time around, however they didn't have that on the menu so I settled for vermicelli again. Not sure what the complaints are about... I thought this pho was good. When I go to a restaurant, cleanliness is key. This pho restauran is definitely clean, especially for an Asian restaurant. Pho quality is good. I did not get thirsty after, so that's a good indicator of quality. I appreciate their usage of porcelain bowls for hot soups, since I'm not a fan of drinking hot soup with a dash of BPA. Many places use plastic bowls and that's just cancerous. I just wish they have more meat in the pho. I do recommend this place if you're local. read more

I came here on a Wednesday with my mom after a long day of work. Both of us walked in pretty tired and in our work attire. As I walked in I was looked at up and down by a lady who I could only assume is the person who's name I later saw on my receipt, Tuan Nguyen. As soon as she saw us she seemed bothered. She proceeded to ask what I'd like to order with an unpleasant tone, I asked her a couple of questions about the types of soup to which she seemed annoyed at having to answer. At this point I almost felt like leaving but I know my mom was really craving the soup after a long day and she only speaks Spanish and didn't feel comfortable ordering for herself. Once I placed the order to go we sat to wait. A few minutes later Tuan walked towards a couple sitting waiting for their food and smiles at them and very nicely let's them know that their food would be out shortly. A complete change of tone and attitude from the attitude she had when she serviced us. Once we were handed our food by a nice gentleman cleaning tables, I approached Tuan and asked her if I could have some chili sauce. She stared at me and walked away into the kitchen without saying a word. I was left standing there not knowing if I should just walk away. She walked back and rudely handed me the sauces, again without saying a word. I said thank you and looked at her and she didn't even respond. I can't say if this was discrimination based on my appearance or my ethnicity. Either way I will not be returning here and hope that Tuan reads this review and learns to treat everyone with respect and dignity regardless of their attire or ethnicity. Sorry guys but when I went to pick up my food. I noticed non of the employees (including the chefs) were not wearing mask. As soon as I walked in the door the employee to help me pay for my food put on a mask. I paid and walked away because I felt bad. I was in mood for Pho one evening and cruised in here for take out. For a low cost restaurant, the facility is actually quite nice and attractive. The Pho was tasty. I always get tendon (I don't know how many white boys walk in Vietnamese restaurants and ask for tendon Pho), and the pieces were thick and had a good snap to them, which I like. The broth was decent, not the most flavorful I have had, but good none the less. They are mot convenient option for me headed home to get some Pho, so on those rare cold So Cal nights, I will probably be back. read more

Roommate and I were greeted and seated pretty quickly, and we were very excited, I mean, why wouldn't we ne, right? Cold night, new pho place just minutes from the house, with vegetarian options on the menu - so we thought. We ordered the crispy tofu spring rolls, which turned out to be quite tasty, and definitely a repeat performance, should I ever decide to return to this establishment. I ordered water and roommate ordered the hot jasmine tea. Sounds perfectly normal, right? Nope. Tea was served in this hinky little container that burned her fingers whenever she picked it up, no matter where she placed her hands on the damned thing. We put our orders in for the vegetarian pho, and which point the waitress tells us that the broth is either chicken or beef. We of course wanted to know why then, was it called vegetarian? Long answer short, it had veggies in it. Jeeebus, help me, it physically hurt not to roll my eyes at this point, because the waitress was telling us that they don't make a vegetarian broth, and repeating it, like a mantra. We asked for a minute to think about our options, and the waitress went away, and came back, less than a minute later to tell us that they did, in fact, make a veggie broth. We decide to give it a shot, and settled back in our chairs to wait. And wait. And wait some more. Did I mention waiting? The tables surrounding us received their steaming bowls of pho with monotonous regularity while we sat, awaiting the miraculous arrival of our own damned soup. Finally, it arrived. No apologies for the wait, no explanation that they'd had to hunt up the ingredients for our veggie broth, blah, blah. Warily, hungrily, we began to eat. Roommate doctored hers with a ton of sriracha and other assorted sauces, and I had mine plain with a bit of lime. It was tasty enough, but the broth tasted like that veggie soup base that I get from the 99 Ranch market. That's fine, I didn't even mind that, I just kind of felt that it wasn't something that should have taken an extra 30 minutes. After the waitress collected payment, we were given little foam cups of this tapioca and taro dessert, tasty, but not a reason to return. A few visits here and tried different food items, I guess it's a hit and miss. Last time I had Pho and the broth was watery, not flavorful at all. But the crispy rice shrimp was good and so were the wings and spring rolls, so it depends I guess on your luck. But the service was rushed and incomplete, he forgot 2 items, what happened to taking notes, especially when it's a longer list of items? read more
