Not the best Viet food I've had but it's definitely good and in Orange, so can't complain about that! I've tried their pho and rice dishes and they're pretty good. The pho's broth is tasty although it doesn't necessarily taste like it's been cooked for hours. It tastes like it could be just good MSG in it. I've tried the thai tea everyone raves about and it's ok. Small pho starts at $7ish and large at $8ish. This place will definitely save me many trips to Westminster and satisy many take out cravings! We live locally and been coming here for a couple years now and My Pho never seems to disappoint. My wife loves the pho but I'm into their chicken & rice with an eggroll dish, which I find to be better than Flame Broiler, Tikiyaki, Yogis etc. The chicken is actually bbq'd and charbroiled and I dunno what's up with their rice but they know how to make it perfect! Regarding the pho itself, I've tried it numerous times and it's definitely by far my favorite around. Cant give enough credit to the staff and owners they're great and know most of their frequent customers by name and even know what we order by heart. The food here is so good! It never disappoints. I was able to try the new house chicken wing special! The owner said they just added it to the menu two days ago. It was really good. Flavorful and crispy! I got the pho with rare steak, flank, brisket. It was very satisfying. Definitely one of my favorite pho places. read more

first time here... it is a small restaurant inside the Family Dollar strip mall complex... clean restaurant with friendly and efficient service. i like the decor with all the traditional Viet musical instruments on the wall. I ordered vermicelli with egg rolls and pork chop. the pork chop smelled good and was very tasty. egg roll could have been crunchier but tasted good. the "rau" which was the veggies component to this dish was very whitewash: bean sprouts, chopped lettuce and cucumber. the only herb was cilantro. but it is to be expected in Orange, as this is no LSG (little saigon). recommend if you want a clean quick Viet lunch. read more

There's a woman who works here that SHAMES customers if they don't eat their entire meal. She made me extremely uncomfortable. As I was leaving she rudely asked why I didn't eat more of my food. Like I've expressed in previous Pho reviews - We are big on eating Pho and have been trying to find a good pho place in the OC area that is comparable to the place we love our in ChinaTown/LA (Pho87) I ordered the Charbroiled pork Pho and my boyfriend ordered the Charbroiled pork and had meatballs added. We also ordered house sauce chicken wings and egg rolls - YES WE CAME HUNGRY! The pho here was delish (better than most Pho places we have tried around the Orange Co area (believe me we have tried at least 8 Pho places, lost count) and the pho broth served here was not bland but flavorful. The service was friendly, the location is decent, the place is well lit, clean and in a plaza where you can find other eateries too. We will definitely be going here again! read more

First Of, it's the decor and interior design is very nice with Vietnamese traditional musical instrument on the wall as not only eat Pho but also relax with music flow. As for the food, ask for special Pho with the thick noodles, it's a very large portion, a lots of meat!! very tasty!! The food is good and the service is great. I'd come here all the time except when I'm here I can hear the owner talking to his staff in Vietnamesename and held not very nice. So I go about once a quarter for my cravings. I don't know their story. But it's just rude to talk to another person that way. Again, the food is delicious! And the servers are super nice. My Pho' what can I say except love it! I am a pho addict, which means I eat it 2-3 times a week. I try and visit new spots as often as I can. My faves are in Westminster. My Pho however is tasty and clean. Pho is my comfort go to good. I love that My Pho opens early on the weekends! 9:30 am to be exact ... I no longer have to wait until 11:00am. Very fresh soup! I ordered the pho with rare steak, meatballs, flank, and brisket. The flavor of the pho was acceptable since I hadn't had pho in years but I did notice that it was a bit bland. I also ordered a boba milk tea. The milk tea was good but the boba was soft and soggy in lumps of chunks. I appreciated the milk tea a lot compared to Signature Dessert in Canyon Lake, but they gotta do a better job with the boba. It was either cooked too long or was sitting out too long. read more

This place is my favorite spot for Turmeric Fish. It is very tasty and yummy!!! It comes with vegetables, vermicelli and fish sauce on the side. I usually make some rolls with that. Delicious! Its portion is enough for my lunch. Combo Chow Mein with soft noodles is also a good dish, and especially the sauce is amazing. For the dessert, creme brulee here is the bomb! It takes about 10 mins to get done, be sure that you order it ahead of time, so you can enjoy it right after your meal. Pronto Service!!! So I'm comparing take out vs take out. It's almost exactly the same as Pho Oh Tasty. If I was eating in? This place looks a lot nicer. Food wise, it tasted very similar (to the point that if you had me do a blind tasting, I couldn't tell) and they packed it the same way (soup in a separate container). All in all, I don't think you'll get a bad meal however if you have 20 more minutes, drive out to westminster. It's better than both places. read more

If you've never been or never plan on going to Brodard or any other place with less "Americanized" Viet food, you'd probably enjoy this place. My parents were visiting and wanted something that was light and fairly quick. This place fit the bill. Me and my mom only got the Spring Rolls so I can't say anything about their Pho. Staff - attentive and helpful. Ambience - clean. Price - kinda expensive because I swear I've been to other Viet restaurants that do not charge me $5 for 2 but I just checked and Brodard charges $5.25 for 3, $7 for 4. Menu - it's a really thick nice booklet but it's only in English. I already had low expectations about this place because my Viet roommates told me that "If the menu is only in English, it probably isn't that good." But don't knock it til you try it. Their food isn't bad but it isn't on the same standard I set for the other Vietnamese restaurants I've been to. I got the charbroiled pork spring roll so I was some nem nuong but got actual charbroiled pork. The sauce was probably just hoisin sauce mixed with something else. Probably not peanut butter but I couldn't put my finger on it. It was overall fine and different restaurants make their spring rolls differently so nbd. Buuuuut, I was kinda expecting the meat layer to go all the way along the edge instead of just like two pieces of meat. read more

I have been eating here for over 5 years now... my pho has never failed me. I pretty much order the same item 1. Egg roll ( always comes out so hot) 2. Chicken pho- doesn't leave me with a bad aftertaste like other places do where I feel like I need to drink a lot of water 3. Pork vermicelli - the pork is so tender and the flavor is just right, not over powering. All the staff are friendly and their to go boxes are really great too!
