As a vegetarian, it's not easy finding a restaurant with good veggie options at a moderate price, especially in Orange County. I had a good experience here for my first time. I got the vegetable Vermicelli and it was really good. The tofu was great! I repeat, the tofu here is great! Good tofu is important for me. I also got the veggie spring rolls. Starting this review off by saying that I actually work at a Vietnamese restaurant, and wanted to try this place because it's local and I was feeling a little sick today. Most Viet places are judged by their Phó, and this one did not disappoint. The broth was very flavorful and hot, the portion sizes are just right. Meat was cooked perfectly.. the garnish basket they give with bean sprouts, jalapeños, basil, lime wedge was fresh produce and a generous amount. Would recommend this place to anyone local in the area, prices are good, food was awesome, and service was good as well. If you come try and pay cash! They do accept card though. The only reason why I keep coming back to this pho hut is because it's down the street from my home. Other than that, I've had better pho in Garden Grove, Westminster and even Cerritos. They skimp on the meat and have the audacity to post on their walls about wanting patrons paying in cash because credit/debit transactions hurt small businesses. Aside from it being an untrue statement, how about lack of quality and service hurting small businesses as a valid reason instead? The service is never consistent because I almost never get what I ordered i.e. I'll order no flank but they'll give me no meatballs instead. We didn't even get our complimentary dessert with our check during tonight's visit while everyone else got theirs. The only redeeming thing about My Pho are their egg rolls since it's made to order and is light and crispy in texture. I don't care about how close this place is to me anymore because I rather drive a little further for a good bowl of pho. read more

I am a regular here and I figured it was time for a well deserved review. This place has incredible food coupled with great service. Especially the owners Tom and Hannah whom always make me feel welcomed. I have tried almost everything on the menu and I highly recommend the beef pho, the chicken pho (all white meat which is great), the Combination Sandwich, the french style filet mignon cubed beef, and the sizzling fish. Parking is easy and the price is great. My favorite go to that is also my families favorite! read more

The staff is friendly for the most part, there is one waitress that is sort of "unfriendly", but there is a tall young waitress who is probably the nicest and best waitress I've ever had. I ordered this for take out tonight. We had the pork pho, the spring rolls and the beef pho. Everything was fresh and delicious. I also want to bring up that it was excellently packaged - everything was separate so nothing was mushy when it arrived. Food is a solid 4 but the staff and service makes it an easy 5. Your typical Vietnamese food in a more clean and less crowded place and also a buck or two more than other places but worth it being in the area it's in. No one ever eat here! The worst customer service ever. Basically, I ordered a bowl of pho .. opened it outside of the restaurant & a bee immediately flew in it. I wasn't able to eat the food so I kindly went inside and asked if there was anything they can do. The rude lady didn't even ask her manager and immediately said no and said it wasn't there fault so they can't replace it. Any other restaurant would be kind to do the most to make their customers happy, but this pho place obviously doesn't care about their customers. I left the bowl there, and basically gave them cash for nothing. Never coming here again, worst pho place ever. One of our favorite Pho restaurants! My husband and I like to come here before Ducks hockey games to eat dinner. They offer vegetarian egg rolls which a lot of Pho places do not. I usually get the vegetarian pho and I am quite full from all the vegetables, tofu and noodles in the small bowl. The staff knows us now and are attentive and friendly. How the HELL did this place get almost 5 stars? Ordered the #13 . The broth had no flavor , the meat had a bunch of fat trimmings on it and their meat balls were tasteless. A lot of hoison sauce and jalapeno helped.. but for its price , definitely not worth it. We also ordered a shrimp fried rice. The rice was overcooked , the chicken was rubbery as hell and their shrimp (which there were only THREE pieces in it) was tasteless! How do you mess up a shrimp fried rice?! It was literally a plate of flavorless, overcooked, dry lumpy mess. To add insult to injury , they forgot to make the fried rice and tried compensating our wait time by giving us ONE greasy eggroll. Which by the way, tasted like it was JUST out of the package and JUST frozen. They literally rushed our order and tried covering it up by giving us ONE god damn eggroll. Their Thai iced tea and Thai coffee were decent at best.. The whole meal came out to an almost whopping $30 bucks. I've been to enough places and to enough Vietnamese establishments to taste a $30 dollar meal; and this was definitely not worth a dime of my money. Never coming back here ever again. You kids need to wake up your damn taste buds and eat REAL Viet food before giving places such as this almost FIVE freakin stars. I'm laughing at the fact that all of you are getting jipped! Came here this Sunday with my fiance and had a really good time! We had the Pho Tai (combination, rare steak & brisket), Pho Bo Vien (meat balls), and the CHICKEN WINGS -- UGH SO GOOD! The pho broth was hearty and nicely seasoned, it definitely wasn't over salted and you taste the star anise and cloves (if you grew up learning how to make traditional beef pho, this is right up there). But the real show stopper was the order of chicken wings. Who would have thought that something so simple -- fried marinated chicken wings -- could be so damn delicious. They're sweet, salty, garlicky perfection. Definitely going to come back to try their other goodies, but also to get some more wings! read more

Owner/waitress is very attentive. Unlike the typical pho restaurants, they come back to check on you, even refill the free ice water. Their pho is the best comparing to other pho places around here. My parents had been raving about this Pho place they just found for weeks. So, naturally once I arrived for a visit I needed to try it. What the what? This place is not nearly as good as our old standbys in Irvine and Garden Grove--even the spot down the street from their house is better. Hopefully we just came on an off night? Because the pho was fine, and that's what they're peddling here, I'll give it three stars. My beef pho was fine, pretty typical flavors, adequate spice, the meat was fresh. However everything else we ordered was awful. Their jasmine iced tea had a soapy aftertaste--as though someone hadn't rinsed the Dawn out of the glass fully. Their boba tea was served and the boba was stuck congealed at the bottom of the cup in one large wad. I couldn't break it up or get my straw to function. Randomly found this place based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. The pho was flavorful and not super oily. The veggies were all fresh. We had a party of 12 and we didn't even realize we stayed 30 minutes after they closed. They didn't rush us at all and the service was excellent! After being sent home sick with strep throat, I knew I needed some good pho as a cure all. I decided to give this place a try, despite my best gfs review. She too only gave 3 stars and I know why. The service was awesome.... Well for it being take out. I ordered the shrimp with a side of rare steak and an order of egg rolls. The broth was pretty bland, and even at home I had to add more to it. Maybe my tastebuds were off considering I was sick, but I don't think so. Also, something about the eggrolls tasted different. It almost tasted like they were wrapped in a fortune cookie, rather than a tradition wrapper. Def not my favorite place, but not horrible either. read more

I live 2 minutes away from this restaurant, which is a plus. There's not many vietnamese joints around Orange, so I always give new restaurants a try. This place is located in the same plaza as Chipotle and PCH dogs. I'm not a big fan of this place, and the reason is the amount of food you get. You pay a good 8-10 dollars per entree, yet you only get a TINY AMOUNT of food. The first time I came here, I ordered a bowl of Pho, which consisted of very little noodles, an even smaller amount of meat, and A LOT of soup.. Although it was pretty good. The second time coming here, I ordered Bo Luc Lac (Filet Mignon). I got 8 cubes of meat and a bunch of lettuce, onions, and tomatoes.. Definitely NOT worth my money.. On a brighter note, the customer service is good. Everyone is nice here. There's a vietnamese restaurant on Tustin that is a lot better. I believe it is called Asian Grill. read more
