The owner is genuinely a good person. He offered me fries for free and even gave me an extra garlic sauce on the house. The food was amazing too! read more

Flavorful food! I got the rice base, beef, less than mild, garlic sauce and tzatziki sauce, lettuce and onion box and it was amazing. I definitely recommend adding more spice since their hot isn't spicy enough for me. Other than the spice, the food is great! The service is also great, the front people are very friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place for the food and service since both my experiences have been great. read more

Best establishment, INCREDIBLE service. Shoutout Employee Daniel for wonderful service!! He hand-delivered our food and was very kind. We got Chicken on the rocks and a chicken shwarma wrap and they were both delicious and incredibly large portioned. Spice on the side was a good move The fries were perfectly crispy and the ambiance in the store + music choices were great. 10/10 will return read more

The reviews were high, and it was really busy. So, I had high hopes for this place. Around 1pm on a Friday afternoon and there was no seating when we walked in. They take your order and then call your name when it's ready. Unfortunately, just have a very common name and someone happened to be there with my same name. That was a little shaffu we had to work out. The employee wasn't super helpful. We were able to grab a table when our orders were called. I was really looking forward to this but unfortunately it just wasn't it for me. The gravy was really thin, and soaked into the fries making them soggy. The beef was fine, but didn't exactly taste like shawarma. I would say this was fine. But I probably won't return. read more

My-O-My - Beef Poutine - Salad Near Me - Berkeley, California

Came here a couple of days ago, came to pick up food for my girlfriend. Who placed an order through Snack Pass, and since my girlfriend wanted to stop by a different store before they closed, I decided to pick up the food for her. I came up to the counter asking for my girlfriend's order by name, and was told that I would need the number for the order. He was really aggrieved and seemed annoyed when he told me that, but I didn't really mind it, because I also work at fast food. And noticed he was the only one on the line and at the register, while already working on a few orders. So I already knew the stress he was in and just let it slide. No problem, called my girlfriend to ask for the number. Got the number and gave it to the person that was working behind the counter. My girlfriend came in a few minutes later, got the food, sat down, and ate with me with my own food I bought earlier. A few hours later, I was a bit hungry so I decided to place an order for some small fries with chicken, garlic sauce, less than mild. Walked in when Snack Pass notified me saying my food was ready. Walked in, saw the same person (mustache and curly hair) from earlier, gave him my order number, and HE handed me the box of fries (for preference, this is my first time ordering fries from this place and didn't know the portion sizing). Got my food, at first glance it looked like what I ordered, and tasted like what I ordered. Sat down with my friends to eat my fries, and a few minutes later all I hear is "DID YOU PAY FOR THAT!? DID YOU PAY?". Turned around to see the guy a few feet away from pointing at me repeating the same question. I was confused and said "yeah this is what I ordered" was looking for the email receipt. While being still being yelled at "you stole that guy's order" Pointing at a customer who was waiting at the restaurant, who I noticed when I first walked in the restaurant; walked back behind the counter pissed off. And gave the customer some extra food for his mistake and just stared at me. After that, I lost my appetite and got up with my friends and left the restaurant. I didn't have the chance to show him my recipe to clear the air nor an apology for him yelling and pointing his finger at me, accusing me of stealing food. Great food! It tastes pretty good, but I had a bad experience with one of the employees. I won't be thinking about coming back here soon. Considering it's Berkeley, I can find better alternatives to help with my cravings and where I won't get yelled at and be accused of stealing because of someone's mistake. read more

This was the worst meal I have ever eaten; it made me feel sick. I had ordered a large meal, but the portion that arrived was small; the meat was dry and tasted bad. read more

This is a great spot for a quick on-the-go lunch. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap online for pick up. I really love that you can customize pretty much everything that goes into your wrap, though as some have pointed out, certain items are add-ons that cost more money. I tried the wrap "extra hot" and while certainly not the spiciest thing I've ever eaten, it was still legit pretty spicy. The chicken was also nicely seasoned and still pretty juicy. The best part is that if you beat the rush, they are super fast. Ordered at 11:05 and my wrap was ready by 11:10 - perfect if you don't have much time to wait around for your food. In terms of size - it definitely on the smaller end of the spectrum compared to other shawarma wraps I've had and wasn't particularly cheap ($12) given the amount of food, so it isn't the best value in the area. read more

$15 for such a small amount of meat. Never coming back here again. Also why do they charge extra for 2 sauces!!!?? I was so excited to have some shawarma and I got a tiny $15 salad. read more

Why is this random hole in the wall that also serves poutine carry the BEST chicken shawarma wrap I've ever had?! I've been missing out. Seriously delicious! I got a medium spicy chicken shawarma wrap regular size (HUGE) with tzatziki, garlic, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, pickles, onion, tahini & medium spicy sauce. I devoured it so quick... was just going for a snack but quickly changed my mind after the first bite. read more

Cute little place near the campus, menu is exactly like a chain I've eaten at several times in Montreal. Wish these places would offer a veggie meat option but falafel it is Vegetarians. At least it's not just stuffed with French fries and lettuce. Different about this place is their poutine which is good but of course not authentic to Montreal. Still, totally appreciate that they have this option and that there's veggie gravy! Spice level is weaker than expected. So don't be afraid to order spicy. Great and fast service. read more

Stopped by on my way to the Greek Theatre. Ordered a large Beef on Sticks with garlic sauce on the side - $17.99 which is essentially beef on top of seasoned fries and a 4pc falafel - $3.99. I thought by having the garlic sauce on the side it would make the fries less soggy but I don't think it would make a big difference. The container had no vent holes so the fries immediately steamed up. The beef portion was generous. I would add tahini next time to my order. As for the falafel I found them to be dry. Good size though. Took 10 mins for my order to be ready. read more

Excellent shawarma, very filling, good pice and location in Berkeley. Fast service. You can eat inside.

Ordered the falafel bowl. Insanely disappointed to say the least. Was given some rice and the driest falafel I've ever had in my life. Would not recommend. I heard the chicken bowl is better, however. read more

Excellent food, generous portions, and good price, right next to the Berkeley college campus! My 16-year-old daughter and I were adequately fed from splitting one medium sized order of chicken on the rocks (chicken with white garlic sauce and red pepper, and yellow rice). My only regret was that we did not order a large, not because we needed it, but because it was so delicious! read more

Small mom and pop shop located on Northside! This place seemed very busy but is available on Snackpass. The food was not bad but beware of the smaller portion sizes. I recommend upgrading to the regular for an extra dollar because the small left me a little hungry. The chicken was well flavored and the rice was fluffy. I also liked how the half and half plate came with seasoned fries. This place definitely beats Dyar. read more

Omg. The best shawarma spot in Berkeley for sure. Sooooo good!!!!! Always so fresh and the perfect amount of spice.

Too early for our concert at the Greek Theater, found this place a short walk away. No frills interior/dining room. Prices on par with most restaurants nowadays. Ordered a chicken platter with rice & fries, came with a Greek salad. Everything was tasty, hot, fresh. Fries were buried under everything, yet still crisp and done well. Bathroom wasn't fancy, but clean. Service was friendly. Was a good choice for a quick bite. read more

The service was curt. More importantly, the food was below average. I got the beef on sticks (fries), large. Food was lower than lukewarm in temperature. Beef was tough. Fries were soggy. Garlic sauce was weak in garlic flavor. Long wait. Definitely not coming back. read more

I don't usually review campus casual restaurants but this one is definitely worth sharing. Me and my friend went to north side of UC Berkeley Campus to try something new. This place was one of the first restaurants on Euclid after you cross north gate. We got in right before the rush. We were surprised by how many people filled up the place. I ordered the large falafel wrap with extra feta. They had options for spice level and size which I found to be very accommodating. They had Leban on the drinks menu for $3 but we didn't get it. My friend got one of the bowls: falafel on a stick. It was fries with a bunch of sauces and cheese topped with 4-5 falafel balls. For the wrap, they used an actual thin shawarma wrap. All of the flavors blended really well together despite the strong level of spice. The fallafels were crispy on the outside and were not dry. Really delicious Mediterranean food for a reasonable price in a great location. read more

Went here for lunch. Got the Chicken Shwarma at $11.95. It was delicious. The food was plentiful and the service was great. We got some pita and extra tzatziki sauce. That sauce is fantastic! They make it in house and its so creamy and perfectly seasoned. If you like spicy food, definitely ask for the spicy sauce. They don't mess around it is spicy! I felt like I was on an episode of Hot Ones :-) The interior of the store is clean and well-kept. read more

I tried My O My the other day and was honestly blown away with how good it was. My first time going I got the Chicken on the sticks and the beef poutine. Huge and delicious portions for the decent price. The food was fresh, fries were crispy, and the gravy was amazing as well. The garlic sauce was honestly one of the highlights of the meal. It was so good I went again the next day and got the chicken half half bowl and managed to snap a picture unlike the meal I had before. I've been here for lunch a handful of times already and have nothing but nice things to say about the food and service! For college students this place is very good bang for your buck in terms of quality and quantity - the portions are so generous I've had to split the large combo platters over two meals each time. The fries are crispy and the rice is flavorful so I recommend getting half/half if you can't decide. I also like that there is a lot of increments in the spice level! The staff are friendly and service is amazing. One time I was struggling to hold my leftovers as I left (with the large platter you get a huge plate and a separately packed salad). The owner saw, offered me a bag and tied it for me. I'll be coming back to this place often! read more

Fresh and delicious food for reasonable prices. Their Shawarma, wraps or bowls, are generous and jam-packed with deliciousness. Their fries are crisp on the outside and soft, but not mealy, on the inside. The salads are made of F R E S H materials, and the dressing is made in-house. It's a humble setting, but the food is absolutely worth it. Go there today - you won't regret it! read more
