Any normal dealer or mechanic will tell you to really drive a car, to test the brakes and to feel it accelerate and LISTEN to acceleration and turns, but this salesperson (can you really call someone a salesperson if they are terrible at sale?) insisted on keeping the AC on and was incredibly, shockingly rude. I would never buy a car from Rigo/Rico, let alone a toothpick. What a waste of time. Go elsewhere, I implore you. Oh, and the car accelerated like shit.

The next day, we took the car to our mechanic only to find out the brake pads need to be replaced. In addition, the brake pads were worn to the rotors point of needing to be replaced. Additionally, the car required an pil change as that was not done and the dealer had no documented proof of it being done even though he said otherwise. The car also needed a new cabin air filter, air filter, new spark plugs that are eroded and four new tires as they were worn out as well. In short, do not buy any car from this dealership until they provide you with documentation of maintenance work that has been done. Happy did alot of fast talking but did not make us happy as all of this work will cost us $2,600. We are solution oriented people and when we spoke to Happy he had no solution or compromise. Basically, Oh Well "GOTCHA"We are making this post to hopefully make potential customers aware of potential added cost of buying a car from Hero Trade Autosales LLC. They are not to be trusted! What could be improved is Happy doing a thorough inspection of every vehicle prior to sale and fixing simple safety issues like brakes, tires, oil change and not using sealant on drain plugs that have leaks. As a customer, I shouldn't find these issues on a used car the very next day after purchasing it. Fortunately for me, I trust but verify and my intuition was correct. I offered Happy a solution to split the 2,683.00 cost, he countered with returning the car after I paid 2,683.00 to fix problems he should have fixed prior to me buying the car. I politely asked if he wanted to pay for the all the money I paid for the warranty and repairs? No answer! Folks learn from my mistake and find another dealership to buy your car or take any car your interested in buying to a reputable mechanic prior to purchase. I…read morehave had ignition issues for a little while now that culminated in my car not starting unless I crank the ignition a dozen times or my car just dies on me in the middle of the road as recent as this past weekend. I've taken my car to repair shops near my home and they always end up repairing something else's and not fixing the real issue. Thankfully I found Robert and his team on yelp and they saved from a very unnecessary alternator replacement that the other repair shop had diagnosed was the issue. It turns out that there was nothing wrong with my alternator and that it was actually my ignition switch being faulty and frying/melting the other wires inside my steering column. That made sense on why now sometimes my care would start up smoothly vs when it randomly did not want to start since the melted wire contacts were precariously connected and hanging on by a thread I dropped my car off at 8am and got my car back by 3pm same day. Price was fair and less than I had expected. Will be taking my car to Robert and his crew from here on out

However, bought a 2014 truck w/ 94k miles, $3700 down... and less than 60 days later, realized it needed a 3k TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY (A new transmission was recommended even), Drive shaft and Fuel pump module. The truck was never serviced either, needed an oil change, front brakes and alignment (small things that I can take care of anyways) Reached out to the dealership in good faith to see if they'd help in one way or another, wasn't expecting the repairs to get completed all by them but who knows.... I was referred to a shop for it to get checked out and they found nothing wrong with the transmission I guess, being so busy, I took time to see another person yet one month after their referral, the check engine light went on and boom, there indeed was a transmission issue. The dealership and 3 other shops all quoted total repairs at $4k to $6k in repairs, or more if I replace the transmission. Side note: Before I realized the issues in my truck, I did refer a friend to the place too and they noted that the cars they checked up on did seem like they needed maintenance too, again, small problems but something to note Can't say you all will have this experience but do carefully examine your vehicles, CAREFULLY, before signing those papers! This has been an EXPERIENCE in my books TWO stars instead of one, since I know the salesman and office staff there definitely deserve some credit I put this review on Google and Yelp since I feel it's important everyone hears me out on this honest review AND YES, I HAVE INVOICES AND RECEIPTS AND PROOF IF ANYONE DOUBTS THIS REVIEW.
