He wraps the working area like it's an Ebola or coronavirus death scene. Not a morsel of insulation got into my home, only in the attic. His prices are phenomenal. His quality is impeccable, it's no wonder why he's got a two week waiting period. Not only a top quality job but unfortunately one of my satellite lines in the attic has apparently a bad connector that caused the loss of signal. We had a great experience with Jesse. He gave us a fair quote over the phone. He explained the different options thoroughly and didn't push us to remove our old insulation (which had no moisture or rodent damage). They came out to do the work within a week. He said it would take approximately 4 hours but they were done in about 3, including cleaning up after themselves. He even took down our info for our gas bill so he could submit the paperwork for our rebate! Jesse and his team are very good. Much lower pricing then other insulation specialists and truly very professional, very clean and took pride in my home as if it was his. Jesse is polite and was more then willing to answer my many, many questions. I told him about concerns my husband and I had and he went out of his way to accommodate us so that we felt safe in trusting him. He is very knowledgeable and could have charged me a bit more due to my square footage being a bit off on what I thought would work for the attic but even though I offered twice, he did not take more then his quoted price. He also double checked the work and made a few adjustments so that it was exactly right, even at the periI of having his team go back up into the attic when they thought they were done. My husband is also picky about how things are done, especially when we are paying for it, I am as well and usually he will find small to big things that are not done the way he would like to have them done but this time, not even one issue when he went up into the attic to check the work. Also, Jesse took care of all the paperwork for our rebates and I thought that was pretty cool. Most times I have to do research on what forms I need, make copies of the right paperwork, do it from start to finish but all I had to do this time was give a copy of my gas bill and an account number and he has done the rest. Very, very nice. I say this a lot, family owned and operated business is the way to go. Such a huge difference over bigger business where its all about how much money they can take or feeling like you are on some sort of conveyor belt to hell. Called Jessie because of the great reviews. Saw a one star, but did not warrant me to not give him my business. The 1 star was not actual work that was done so, I was not to worried. He answered all my questions I had. He and his work crew were on time that was scheduled and worked hard. The work was exceptional. Got my old blown in insulation out and put blown in Cellulose. They were clean and covered my floors. I thought that was important, because I have a 10 month old that is crawling. This kept the floor as clean as possible for an easy clean up. His crew vacuumed and swept thedebris that was visible after they were done. I gave it it a couple of weeks to give a review just to see the difference. The difference is definately noticable. The house temperature is very consistent compared to before. When we cooled the house down the temps stayed through the night at a solid 72 to 73 degrees. Before the work was done the air would be jumo from 5 to 7 degrees, and I would also find that different rooms would feel much different in temperature. Overall I am very happy with Jesse and his crew. I would definately recommend him to others. Honest, on time, and clean. It just confirms all the other reviews that have been posted. read more

I was looking to insulate my attic so I went on to yelp and started reading the reviews. After reading all of them on "My Insulation Guy" I decided to call Jesse. He quoted me over the phone and we figured out exactly what I needed. We made the appointment five days out. He called an hour before our scheduled time to say he was on his way. (He was even early). It took three hours to spray in 1500 sf of cellulose. They were great guys to deal with. Everyone of these reviews are exactly dead on. From my initial contact with Jesse, I was pleased to speak to someone with obvious knowledge and expertise in climate control options. With utility costs rising, and rebates available through Riverside Utilities and So Cal Gas for insulating the attic, I was glad to hire Jesse. He and his team blew R38 insulation into the attic of the 1950's house, which has had inefficient Central AC for a while. They arrived on time, and were professional and polite throughout the job. I don't review many companies on yelp however I have to take the time out for this review. My family recently bought a house and found we had large activity of rodent dropping in the attic. With two little kids, I did not want to take any chances of breathing in that stuff so I wanted to redo all the insulation, as well as disinfect, rodent proof. We had inquire and received quotes from multiple insulation company to redo our attic. The quotes were all over the place so I searched Yelp once more and found My Insulation Guy with 5 star rating. I was little suspicious with all the 5 star ratings/review but gave a call to Jesse with nothing to lose. He called me back promptly to me and was very easy to talk to and he explained how he would do the project along with his prices. His price defineately beat any competition out there. He answers all the call that come in, not some secretary or sales person. I told him the square feet of my attic that other insulation companies had measured and given me quotes on. After talking to him about my attic, which had very limited access to some parts of it, issue with rodents, he explained that he also does ductwork which was perfect for me since the ducts were chewed up by rodents and I did not want another company to go back up in the attic to change out the ducts after new insulation in installed. Just talking to him over the phone, I can see how his customers leave him 5 stars. I scheduled the time and date with him for measurement of the ducts day before actual project so he can get the correct size/amount of the ducts. On the day of the project, his team arrived on time, covered my clothes with plastic and laid out floor mats to protect the floors, and mats under their ladders so it does not scratch up my floors. I was impressed with the care they completed the project. they cleaned up, swept and vacuum before end of day. It took two days to complete the ductwork and new insulation. Both days My insulation guys were on time and communicated start time a day prior. While doing the removal, Jesse mention that this attic is not what was estimated by the other companies but over 300 sqft bigger which required more materials (insulation and ducts). After the removal, the attic was vacuumed of all the droppings and disinfected was sprayed and finally the new insulation was blown in. Each process of the project was done professionally and with care. When it was time for payment he stood by his original quote. It is so hard to find a great company with good people who are honest and hard working. All his guys were polite. I am super happy that we chose to go My insulation Guy team led by Jesse. For the past couple of months I've been doing an extensive home remodel/ repair. Replacing a lot of broken things and trying to update a little along the way. I was looking to get my attic cleaned because we've had rodent issues in the past. I found Jesse on Yelp and messaged him. He was able to give me up front pricing and I was able to get up an appointment within a week. During the appointment I explained to him that I wanted to update my air ducts and AC and he was very open and honest about his pricing regarding that and he didn't have to be. He wasn't pushy or aggressive about trying to get the business and as a homeowner I appreciate that. I hired him on the spot and it was the best decision I made. He did the insulation in 2 steps. 1) cleaning and sanitizing and 2) blown in insulation. I wanted to get the AC ducts, new cable lines ran in the attic and ceiling repairs done while the insulation was out so it took some time on my part before the new insulation could be blown in. Once it was blown in, I noticed an almost immediate difference in temperature. The insulation definitely does a good job of keeping the heat from coming in the house through the ceiling. If your looking for attic insulation, honest, reliable service, at a reasonable price, don't waste your time looking anywhere else! We live in Orange County and the summers can get very hot. I'm guessing that I'm one of the few homeowners that have spent a lot of time in my own attic as I like to do a lot of my own home upgrades. Our house was built in 1978 and the original insulation was not great. There were lots of gaps and openings and the prior owners had the house re-roofed and all the dirt and pieces of old shingles were all over the old insulation. The original insulation was only R19 and was probably even less since it had been walked on and smashed down. We got a few estimates but were most impressed with Jesse and his company. Great communication and he gave me a very fair price right over the phone based on my square footage. I know it is hot, dirty work in an attic, but Jesse took his time and really did a nice job. He had me go up the ladder and showed me the finished product and it looked like a different attic! I know that both our summers and winters will be much more comfortable now and we will be saving heating and cooling costs as well. This company works very clean and leaves the house neat and tidy. Unprofessional - didn't call back. I left a message asking about insulation installation under my house. I didn't get a call back so I called again five days later. He said he doesn't install insulation under homes so didn't bother to respond as he only responds to those requesting insulation services he lists. Lists where? I was referred to him by a friend! If he had called me I could have moved on to find someone else, rather than losing 5 days. Update: Good point in his response about being only human. But also, I hope, now more understanding that when potential customers leave a message, it is professional to call them back; only takes a minute to inform them they need to look elsewhere.
