Was super happy to hear about them expanding to Austin. Syrian shawarma is defined by the simple ingredients but bold flavors. My favorite staple being the chicken shawarma, 3 ingredients: Richly seasoned chicken, garlic sauce, and pickles. Simple but delicious. Their shawarmas are huge and reasonably priced. And i prefer the more authentic arabic bread they use compared to places like Abu Omar that use tortillas, which tasted off to me. The crew there is very friendly and seems passionate. And they chatted with me about their expansion plans to North Austin. They also specialize in kebabs, beef shawarma and other late night goodies.
