    Frozen Cucumber Lemonade
    Winter S.

Just randomly pulled into the parking lot in the Mueller area to find a few food trailers. I saw this one, and decided on the Froze. Cucumber Lemonade. What a nice afternoon treat! Nice and cold for a toasty afternoon. The staff was friendly and carried good vibes. I'll be back.

Tried this place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! The owner was so kind and very knowledgeable about gluten free. I ended up getting the black bean wrap made into a grain bowl but everything looked delicious. If you don't like spicy food, beware! The black bean wrap only had one spice indicator and it definitely had more than just a little kick to it. Can't imagine how spicy the Spicy Chickpea bowl is!! The piña colada smoothie was delicious, but I docked a star because not all of the fruit was fully blended. Only got a few little chunks of banana which isn't earth shattering but it took away from it a little. Either way, I'm excited to go back!!

Had to dock another star. An eye lash in my food is one thing. But conscious cravings is dead to me after this experience at the Airport blvd location + a prior experience with the douchy hipster at the south 1st location. #wearadamnhairnet #hipsterhairdontcare

OMG I just realized today that I had been missing out this amazing food trailer! Muller is so close to my house and I am often there at the lake i.e. Other side of the trailer. Super hungry after work and on my way back home decided to try this place. This was my first visit to the food truck and I really can't remember If I had visited their SOCO location. I was super confused as to what should I pick up.. They are Vegetarians yeippeee !! I can order anything out of the menu !! I finally decided to order Carrot smoothie and spicy chickpea wrap. Everything was so perfect. The wrap was amazingly tasty and spicy.. loved it! All the flavors were balanced and crisp onions lettuce was perfect. The smoothie was refreshing. I could identify all the flavors of it carrot pineapple mango !! The girl was super sweet and answered all my stupid queries. She even gave me a punch card(after 9 entrees you get one FREE) There are decent sitting tables, shared by all food trucks in that area. It so pleasant to sit and enjoy the greenery around. Kids friendly and have some slides etc where kids could paly while u can enjoy ur food. Even they have couple of bowls for ur pets food & water!! Ample of parking space available all around !! Definitely wanna try all the other stuff from their menu!! Would be back very soon ...

Spicy Chicpea was AMAZING! We live in Houston and want to drive back to Austin just for that wrap!! Awesome vegan food! Get in my belly type of food! Didn't have a chance to take a pic of the food. Nice little outdoor food truck spot where you can eat outside

The service was very odd -- I was hardly greeted and when I asked about the menu, I was spoken to condescendingly, so right off the bat, I was getting a bad impression. I ordered the spicy chickpea with spinach tortilla and I actually quite liked all the blended flavors. I also got the quinoa bowl with blackened tofu and the salad itself was good but the tofu was far too salty. I could barely finish the pieces of tofu due to how salty it was. I also swapped out the spicy mayo with chimicurri dressing, which was a good choice! Both proteins were saltier than they needed to be but the overall flavors were decent. I wouldn't go back. I was disappointed with not only the service but also the food.

I had a BBQ Seitan Salad with avocado and it was excellent. (I just wish I hadn't deleted my pictures of grackles so I could post them for this location since they hang around the benches in this park).

I had the hibiscus tea and it was delicious as well. The person at the register was super helpful and explained everything. They had a menu of the day so everything was made fresh. The menu was hand written! We were able to sit outside under a covered area which was nice when the rain came down a bit. It was a lovely day to sit outside in the evening. The food was simple, healthy, and delicious, and I had a great time consuming everything from vegetables to legumes to tea. One meal portion was $16 per person and I was served a plate of food that contained sauteed vegetables, salad, lentils, and steamed vegetables with sauces. Everything was delicious. Since I normally loved cooking vegan at home, some of what they served here, especially lentils, matched exactly what I would have cooked. The soup and tea were amazing as well, and there was a piece of paper on the table with explanations about the tea. Even on a Monday in December, this place had everything that I needed. There was a hammock outside, a path to walk on, and a bulletin board with flyers advertising all types of local events that were along the lines of healing and inner peace. That further solidified my perceptions about how this place would attract people whose energies aligned with what this place was trying to surround itself with.

We got one Austin roll ($22), volcano roll ($15), creamy spicy tan tan ramen ($20), teriyaki sesame tofu yakisoba ($20). I have had their sushi and yakisoba but tried their ramen for first time. I was impressed with their packaging. As you can see in picture, veggies and noodles box was on top and soup at bottom. The only thing I didn't like how noodles became very sticky because of how tight they were packed. So I got it as cold (because I live 30 mins away) and sticky. Ramen came with all the veggies like grilled Chinese broccoli, tofu, sweet corn, marinated shiitake mushrooms, red onions and negi. Yakisoba noodles had the Stir-fried noodles tossed with cabbage, scallion, carrot, marinated shiitake mushrooms, and fragrant negi in a savory house sauce. It was good if you like this type of noodles. Austin roll had Smoked tempeh, tempura tofu, jalapeño, pickles. And on the to Avocado, roasted garlic oil, tempura flakes, smoked paprika, teriyaki. Volcano roll was a deep fried roll which had spinach, avocado, sweet potato. On top: spicy mayo, sweet soy sauce, chili sauce, Caviart and tempura onion. I would say this is the best vegetarian sushi place I've found in Austin. So if you're in search, this wouldn't disappoint you.

BUY IN STORE -- Not online…read more I truly hate writing this review because Rebel Cheese's products are excellent but the fulfillment and customer experience were a mess from start to finish. I ordered a holiday cheese box on December 3 as a Christmas gift. My card was charged immediately. The order never shipped, and I received no communication until I followed up myself, multiple times. After the holidays, I learned (only because I kept pushing) that my order had been internally canceled due to a system glitch, with no email, no refund, and no outreach. I was repeatedly told it would ship on specific dates that came and went. A replacement order was finally sent in January. It arrived late, wet, with melted and ruptured ice packs, and the cheese was very soft to the point my friends weren't sure it was safe to eat. The box also lacked the gift note that was supposed to be included. What bothers me most is that my card would have stayed charged indefinitely if I hadn't chased this down myself. That's not okay especially for perishable food. It's a real shame, because the product itself is great. But based on this experience, I can't recommend ordering gifts or anything time-sensitive unless the fulfillment and communication processes dramatically improve.

I was hosting several vegan family and friends for Thanksgiving, and planned to serve their cheeses as an appetizer for all 15 guests. I followed their shipping date cut off and ordered well before the cut off. I ordered 11 days before Thanksgiving. On the Monday before I still had not received any communication about my order and their website said it was being processed. I tried to call and got a message that they were too busy to answer the phone and to send an email instead. I sent the email and the reply was We are very busy but doing everything we can to fulfill orders. They promised to overnight any orders not shipped on Monday. On the day before Thanksgiving I found out they did not ship my order and essentially asked that I understand because they are so busy. They offered to ship my order later and they would throw something in for free for my inconvenience. This was a standard poorly written customer communication. I replied and explained how after their reassurances they had left me without my order or sufficient time to find a suitable replacement. This time a got a genuine reply from Luis, but same offer full refund, or some free item. It nice for them that they are so busy that they can't fulfill customer orders on time. My experience was being left holding the bag last minute and not much in the way of an apology.

Cauliflower and white grape soup - Hearty, comforting, and perfect for the cold weather. I was skeptical about the grapes at first, but they worked beautifully, adding just enough sweetness to balance the saltiness. 5. Squash cappelletti - The pasta was cooked to perfection with the ideal amount of filling. I was already getting full at this point, but there was no way I was leaving this unfinished. 6. Cranberry & ginger popsicle - A fantastic palate cleanser that actually helped reset my appetite for dessert. 7. Concord grape sorbet - I neither loved nor disliked it, but it was refreshing and surprisingly nostalgic. It instantly reminded me of PB&Js with grape jelly that my mom used to pack for me as a kid. 8. Burnt butter apple cake with maple ice cream - I'm a sucker for anything apple, and this combination was next-level. The perfect way to end the tasting. Overall, I had an amazing experience. You'll have to check out my other review. But just know it's filled with weird taxidermy and novelty items that are one of a kind. But I digress. Back to the food. I would like to tell you I tried everything on the menu as many times as I came here. But alas, only four or five things. Unfortunately, their pierogies are the best thing I've ever had. Not just in Austin, but ever. I am now desperately seeking pierogies that rival FTG's. It's not just the pierogies themselves... but the sauce, it would make angels sing. Every time I tried something new, my heart would long for the pierogies. I finally gave in to my desires and quit trying other new things. I think next time I go back I'm just going to ask strangers if I can have a bite of their food, so I can say I've tried everything. But until then, this review is for what I have tried. After the pierogies. My next favorite things in order. Fried chicken (perfectly crisp bites), jerk chicken (little spicy, not dry, perfect), chilli (so spicy), gnocchi. The cheesecake would technically rank after the pierogies, but because they're a dessert I don't wanna mess up the order here and confuse y'all. The two dudes that work this truck, are here EVERY time. I'm pretty sure the only days they take off is Mondays and Tuesdays. Tell them the girl from Kansas City with a big dog sent to you. Lastly. The meats were unforgivably dry, though everything else was good. Steak & Zab ($22): The zab, a mix of green beans, mushrooms, and broccoli tossed in salsa macha with sabayon, was actually enjoyable. I liked the flavors, but it was a bit too creamy/saucy for my husband (likely due to the sabayon). The steak, however, was dry and very chewy. Asian Style Spare Ribs ($17): This came with a 1/3 rack of spare ribs, a Thai cabbage salad, and five-spice fried potatoes. The potatoes were fire, and the salad was solid. But again, the meat missed the mark--super dry for the most part. We tried dipping it in the sabayon and other sauces to add moisture, but it didn't help. The fish sauce glaze didn't come through either. The only redeeming quality was the generous portion size.
