If your classic car isn’t fun to drive, it won’t be on the road. We can help dial in your carb, set up your EFI, tweak your suspension, fine tune your brake feel, or improve your steering feedback.
If your ride needs electrical diagnostics, repairs, or installations, we can handle it for you. From installing EFI, to wiring lights, to aesthetic modifications of harnesses, or even laying out custom electrical systems, we have the skills and resources to make it happen.
If you want to improve the performance, handling, or reliability of your car, we can customize it to suit your needs. Brakes, Suspensions, Steering, Sound Deadening, or Drivetrains are all places we can help level up the enjoyment of your vehicle.
If you need TIG welding, MIG welding, rust repair, structural installation, panel replacement, one off fabrication, wheel tubs, or custom brackets in either steel or aluminum, let us help you out!
Every car, custom or stock, requires proper maintenance to keep it on the road. Ignition systems, electrical components, fluids, belts, hoses, brakes, shocks, clutches, synchro collars, and mechanical items all wear out. Addressing them before they go bad is key to ensuring reliability!
We are happy to do one aspect of your project and hand it right back to you. We can clean up your engine or your engine bay, assemble and align your side glass, or just install your custom gauges… whatever you need for your custom car, hot rod, or muscle car.
History
Established in 2023.
Within the span of three years many things happened in Peter’s life to help him realize that he was no longer following his passion. His wife, Shelby, was ready for a career change, his son was starting school, the Covid-19 pandemic hit, and the family took a Route 66 road trip. The family did a lot of talking on that road trip, and they realized that it was time for a new life adventure.
After a few chats with his parents, they suggested that he could use their storage building behind Pete’s Auto Repair to start his own new business. Most general repair shops don’t want to work on custom or classic cars and most custom car builders don’t have the time to do small upgrades or repairs and maintenance. Peter has the repair and problem solving experience of a mechanic, the fabrication, restoration and assembly skills of a builder, and he knows how to work on million dollar show winning pieces of automotive art. Now he wants to help keep the local car hobby alive.
Meet the Business Owner: Peter H.
Our goal is to keep classic cars, hot rods, street rods, custom rides and muscle cars on the road. We believe that the passion for all things automotive is kept alive through the sights, sounds, smells, and physical experience of driving. To do that, sitting behind the steering wheel of your car needs to be a fun and enjoyable experience. We can help!
The driving force behind Muscle Car Beach is Peter Harksell III.
