You can always recognize a solid ethnic restaurant when people from that culture come in, talk with the waitstaff in their native languages, and eat the food the way it's intended to be eaten. (If you order the dumplings, watch other patrons first!) The Khachapuri is a must, and I do recommend you pair your meal with Georgian wines. Order things to share. Ask your waiter lots of questions about what the dishes are and how to eat them. On your way out, ask if you can try on the white papakha hat. It's the kind of restaurant that makes you go home and look up the country to learn something about it. And it's quite a place.

Finally made it and brought the whole family along. We ordered a few items to share: 1. Khachapuri - the star of the show. My kids adored this "fondue in a bread boat". Cheese mixed with egg yolk and delicious homemade baked bread to dip with. This was a huge hit! 2. Mushroom Khinkali Dumplings - very flavorful soupy dumplings stuffed with sautéed mushrooms. Everyone loved these. I wish they served more than just 3 per order. Portion size could've been a little more generous. 3. Beet Salad - super flavorful and very good! 4. Chicken Kebab - this was sadly a disappointment. Very dry and lacked flavor. The rice it was served with was tasty though. Enjoyed glasses of Georgian wine with our meal, which were crisp and refreshing. They also offer wine flights. Worth a visit!

Khachipuri! A cheesy delight with butter and egg you mix in that is big enough to feed 2 people. Amazing!

Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.

Still fun, would recommend. Just a lot of money for the actual portion sizes, but great quality so I'm not mad.

Our server was very sweet and efficient- there when we needed her but not hovering. The food is glorious. They are a bit on the expensive side, but the food is so good we did not mind the prices. I had the chicken and waffles - nicely crisp chicken breast with very tasty waffles. My husband and granddaughter-in-law had the steak and eggs - with really good potatoes and onions; both were SO impressed with the flavor and the preparation. (I will be having this next time!). My grandson had 'Hong Kong' French toast, which I believe was made with Japanese milk bread and had berries and a custard. Also came with eggs and bacon. He could not speak highly enough about it. The portions are LARGE. We all took food home. I shared my plate with my great granddaughter (2 yrs) and still took food home! Honestly, we had booked another restaurant for the weekend of Mother's Day (day before) and we canceled that reservation so that we could go back to Farmers Commons! It's that good. Also, all the folks working when we were there were very sweet with my great granddaughter; we appreciated that. HIGHLY recommend for brunch. Now i want to try dinner too!

I did all three. I started out with a Franzbrötchen, a German style cinnamon roll, and a cortado. Both were a great start while waiting for one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a while. The sandwich I chose comes with bacon, beer cheese, fluffy eggs, and Russian dressing on a beautifully toasted Bavarian croissant. I also had to try a side of their duck fat potatoes, fried golden brown with smoked duck fat, whipped confit garlic butter, and fresh thyme. The staff were all attentive and nice; the table decor was obviously DIY crafted but it was still cute and creative! The flavor was severely lacking in all of our entrees. The portions were also really small, like, almost Lunchables-sized. My friend ordered Kiki's cake and it was pretty dry. There was not a non-chocolate option, as someone who hates it, which was fine. I was going to give my friend the other dessert but they were able to sub it for a pastry from the counter. The drinks, however, were very well done. I would love to see those as regular staples on the menu. Even though the calcirita was incredibly smoky, like, "coal in your lungs"-type sensation, it was at least still on theme. I would suggest doing cocktail that can be temporarily lit on fire or it comes in a glass dome with a "smoke-like" effect instead if repeating the theme. I will consider coming back one more time for their regular menu but I don't know that it was worth driving down again soon.
