This is a must visit place for good old fashioned hamburgers and service!! This is not fast food but each meal is made to order and absolutely delicious. It was a delight to order from the owner who began the business about 10 years ago. He was friendly and a pleasure to interact with. They have both inside and outside seating. Outside on a nice day is the best choice. We had the double spoke burgers with bacon. Mine was called a boat because it was bunless. They call it the SS Keto. Hahahaha clever. They had a choice of 4-5 different cheeses, regular veggies and grilled onions. You can also add extras like a fried egg. Right comfortable place, it's like get'n a big'old hug when you walk in the door and wow does it smell good in there.... (No old grease smell here!) Somehow, someway these guys have mastered the cheeseburgers that my Grandmother used to make me as a kid on her cast iron griddle. Right down to the toasted greasy bun.... Just flooded with amazing memories from a cheeseburger! The food was hot and quick to come out. We arrived around 1.00 on a Tuesday to a full parking lot and a long line. The line moved pretty quick and by the time we had our food the rush had slowed. We ordered the rattlesnake grilled cheese, old school bacon burger and cheesesteak. Everything was so good. The owner should be a stand up comic he's amazing and the food was just as good. If your into supporting local businesses don't miss this stop!! Drove 100 miles because a friend of mine told me about this place saying they don't serve fries because the burgers are that good. Well, he was right! This was the first time we have been here. As we are truckers and travel through lots of places. We decided on Muddbones because of the reviews and we like to try different restaurants from different towns. The service was impeccable. Everyone was so kind and friendly. The food was equally amazing. I had the Texas cheesesteak. I never eat leftovers but this I had to eat. The fries were probably the best fries I have ever had. My husband got a bacon cheeseburger. He says it's one of the best burgers he has ever had. My daughter had chicken tenders with fries and Texas toast. They were so delicious. Everything was freshly made. They also had an free arcade to entertain her. Yes I said free. It's the old school games. PAC man and mortal combat and so many more. I've had this place bookmarked for over 6 months. I was pregnant and the sight of meat could make me gag. Now that I've given birth I'm all about meat again. My coworker suggested getting food from here and it did not disappoint. The burgers are the perfect size and are cooked to perfection. It has a nice outdoor seating area and a very small yet interesting indoor area that shows all their awards and lots of fannin County/Bonham memorabilia. Service is great, it's prompt and the man at the register is also one of the owners, gives you great references and information quickly. Now to the food. The burgers are phenomenal. My husband had the double spoke with cheese and he really liked it. I had the big dill which is a fried chicken sandwich which has been soaked in a dill pickle juice and deep fried with a special sauce and dill pickles ..It was good but not spectacularly phenomenal -(I added some of the special sauce I got for the rattlesnake egg and it added a punch) - the rattlesnake egg was extremely good but if your not into greasy deep fried it's not for you- kind of a jazzed up fancy allsups burrito (really good!!) -- I like crunchy fries so personal opinion. Just a great local down home burger joint!!! I had the Double Spoke burger with cheddar cheese. the patties are the stars on this burger which is the way it should be. The beef is very well seasoned and very juicy. The fries have the same seasoning as the burgers and are very good but the burgers are the reason to come here!!! The service was very quick and friendly. The cost of the burger, fries and drink was about $16.50 which is a little high but because of the quality and taste it didn't bother me much. I ate a Muddbones Cheeseburger Thursday afternoon. One of the BEST I have ever eaten. Two fresh patties with cheese. Caramelized onions and fresh onions. Mayonnaise and Mustard. The man the runs the place makes you feel so welcome. His help is on point. Helpful and friendly. If I pass through Bonham again, I will most definitely eat there again, even if I have to sleep in the parking lot and wait for them to open.
