UGH I am just annoyed at this place. I went in last week for dip powder and gel. I showed her a design and asked if she could do it, and if not don't worry I'll get something else! She insisted she could do it and it would be fine, but I could tell she wasn't confident so I just kept saying I can get something else it's no worries because I would rather it look good than get a design that doesn't look good. She did it anyway, and it was not at all what I asked for. But it was still fine whatever I paid and left. But exactly 2 days later, two of my nails had already chipped. So I went back to get them soaked off, and a new tech did them. He asked if I wanted gels again and I was hesitant. But he said I didn't have to pay for them, so I said okay sure. Then while doing my nails, he told me that I probably chipped them from opening soda cans. I was like huh ?? First, I don't drink soda, and second gel nails should be strong enough to open a soda can with lol but whatever. Then he told me that because it's so cold out it takes the gel longer to cure so I need to wait a couple days before opening soda cans (?!??) what's up with this guys soda can obsession? Anyway I tell him again that I don't drink soda but okay sure. He does my nails, they're fine, I go to leave and he charges me $27 for the soak off. Like wtf?????????? But I don't feel like arguing so I just did it and left. I kid you not 3 days later like half of my nails have chipped or peeled off already. I recently had a pedicure here from Maya. I decided to treat myself and opted for the deluxe pedi which is supposed to be a slightly nicer option with a longer massage and other perks. Honestly, I didn't notice any difference in this option compared to the normal pedicure. The whole service was barely 30 minutes and if the massage was longer, I didn't notice it at all. I would still return here because I think the facility is clean and the work is done well, but I would choose to save a little money next time and just go with the normal pedicure. read more

Okay, so story time.. my scheduled opened up and I had 3-hours to spare before a Yelp Elite event. I was already embarassingly overdue for a pedicure so I decided this was the time. I parked for said Yelp event, and searched 'nail salon' generally in Maps, came across this location and walked 0.4miles there. Upon my arrival, I was asked what I wanted to get done, and was seated for about 5-minutes before RoseMi (I believe) seated me in my chair. I turned the massage on and made myself comfortable - adjusting my taller frame from the last client prior. RoseMi filled the bowl and grab me a great pedicure - if we're talking overdue nails getting shaped, cuticles adjusted and repainted. NOW - if we're talking overdue for a foot massage (not shin slapping), and a sugar "scrub" longer than 30 seconds, RoseMi did not deliver. I was honestly look forward to having my feet massaged as again, ya girl was overdue. But anyway - I wanted better conditioned feet and I got that in the presentation sense. Moving on, RoseMi asked me if I wanted anymore services that evening. I responded with a manicure if her schedule permits. I had injured my thumb about a month prior and was hesitant to get work, let alone a thick gel or powder overtop so soon. So RoseMi cleaned my cuticles, cleaned my nails up.. gave a decent cleaning. But this time, I was loved with an overload on polish. At least 6 layers later and 20-minutes under the dryer, I STILL was not set to go. Anyway, for what I originally wanted.. the pedicure, I would give 4 stars. But the manicure, I had to give 3. $78 later, I wanted and deserved a little more. read more

What an absolute nightmare of an experience! I started out going to a different business which was closed on Tuesday and I wish I had waited. I began with a pedicure for which I was charged 48 bucks and I was disappointed, to put it mildly. I liked the atmosphere at this nail salon, very clean, peaceful and accommodating. It's easy to get to on the uptown downtown bus line. They have a lot of regulars from the area who appreciate the business model and maybe if i was a regular-it would have been a better experience. Full disclosure, I came here to get my manicure and pedicure, as I was in town for a concert. I usually go around my area, so this was probably my fault for cheating on my nail tech. However, I took issue with the lack of ability to do the designs requested, lack of transparency on the price and the nails chipped within 7 days. As someone who gets gel nails regularly, hey are supposed to last two weeks. I was told at the end that I was up charged for using different colors on each nail for a french tip, which should have been disclosed early-and also doesn't make sense to me-because no more nail polish was used. I also did not like that the designs presented-simple-were not able to be done and i was charged extra for the design I had to settle on-because the techs were not able to do what I requested. so all in all, it's ok. I would probably try another nail salon in the area, as while this was almost 25% more expensive than the same design in NYC-at my nail tech , I don't mind paying when I know that I am getting what I want vs whatever the salon can do. Cons - 1 day later I'm still picking gel from under my nails, street metered parking (inexpensive), the hidden fees that are free courtesies everywhere else (Charged $5 for nail fix that was clearly a glue/ powder fix), not being offered a soft drink when the website screams offering of soft drinks, lack of punctuality (I waited 27 minutes after my appointment time to be seen which made me late to anniversary dinner with my husband), rush job throughout pedicure & no suggested selling of callus remover & I know I need callus remover but you can't use it if you only do a pedicure 20 minutes. The gentleman was so rough w the nail tools while removing gel polish that my nail beds were sore. I didn't say anything just hoping he was almost finished. I did appreciate the fact that they completely soak off gel polish and don't use machine. Sooo I went back to have nail fixed mentioned earlier and MiMi took great care of me. She assessed the situation and used powder to seal the slit. Great experience! I walked right in, had this taken care of and left in less than 15 minutes!! Everything happens for a reason because prior to returning for nail fix, I was hell bent on not returning. I now would return and request MiMi or another female for assistance. Ok, ANOTHER nail slit 24 hrs after initial set. This nail was 1 of 2 that I paid to have corrected. I called to inform staff of mishap. They handled it the best way they saw fit and invited me back to the spa for fixture. I explained I'm not returning due to the inconvenience, parking situation and time being taken but wanted to request they educate the gentleman who completed my services so no other customers have the same experience. I normally come here for pedicures. They do amazing gel pedis and the staff is really sweet. But my last experience wasn't so great. I got a long acrylic nail set upon me leaving my nail broke the same day so I went back the next day to get it fixed and the young lady Brittany (who I believe was a beginner tech) did my nails seemed like she had an attitude because she had to fix them and then the following day another nail broke a week after getting my nails done my entire right hand nails have snapped and broken off. I normally wouldn't leave a bad review but paying $95 for a set that didn't even last a week is a major inconvenience read more

Pedicure Review: I was rushed when I walked in. I didn't even have time to pick out a nail color. While being served the tech took a bathroom break. She kept checking her watch and phone. I told the tech that my heels were not smooth. She told me I should have gotten the callous treatment. I don't have callouses. I simply wanted a decent pedicure experience. She also emptied the drain while my feet were still in the bowl. Absolutely disgusting. It was my first time here but I will not be back. If you receive the short lady with auburn hair as your tech.... Leave. I believe she wears glasses. I'm giving the place two stars because I won't deduce that the entire place needs to be trashed because of one piss-poor nail tech & a lack of response to bad customer service. I went with my sister who is a regular there and she had superb service from her nail tech, so I'm taking that into account as well. But my experience deserves zero stars. My nail tech dropped the ball while doing French tips. She didn't wipe the gel residue well from my nail bed, so when I noticed (while she was putting on the clear coat), I told her. She decides to say that the black streak (clearly polish residue) was my "natural nail color." I told her it was not, so she asked if I wanted it done over. "Yes, of course." She filed down into my nail until the streak disappeared and added one single coat over a big dent in my nail. Next, I moved over to the pedicure chair with her. She never asked if the water temperature was okay. She rushed through my pedicure and finished in seven minutes flat, to the extent that my sister seriously believed that I'd only gotten a polish change. I know the time because I was so shocked, I went to go look at how long back I posted on IG which is when I got in the pedicure chair. She didn't ask me if I wanted gel or regular. She just did it. Okay. It's almost like she had somewhere more important to be. I didn't want to argue, so I didn't say anything. I just decided that I wouldn't tip. When I went up to pay, I told the girl taking the payment that I wasn't tipping because I wasn't satisfied. She didn't even ask why I wasn't satisfied. My treatments, done by nail tech Pratikshya, we're very relaxing. I want to commend her especially because I arrived with press-on nails that took an extra 15 minutes to strip off (they were glued on way too strong). She buffed them off and didn't rush the service at all. I really appreciate that they always treat you consistently with respect here. The good: generally good with time; I get acrylics and they usually last a month and they do a good job with designs I asked for. The bad: the sanitation and hygienic behaviors are terrible. You would think after the reckoning about cleanliness because of covid, nail shops would take our health more seriously (especially because this place is not cheap!). Today, I asked the manicurist how often they change the nail files (bc she pulled it out her drawer and it was clearly very used), and she said they change them every two weeks! I don't think I need to elaborate how gross that is. They are reusing drills, clippers, and cuticle cutters without any amount of disinfectant-- while my acrylics were soaking off, I watched my manicurist carry to the tools she used on me to start working on another woman. I have no idea how often these tools get cleaned. This is what I'll say: it is hard to find a shop that can consistently give good quality nails with beautiful designs that are accurate to what I ask for. HOWEVER, this place is not cheap at all ($70 for a fill with gel). I'm willing to pay when the service is good though. But what makes absolutely no sense, is how they have the audacity to charge these prices and have such terrible hygienic practices. Go at your own risk. read more

Jason and Kathy are most experienced, will be able to do more advanced designs, will probably be the ones answering the phones, and may come off a little terse () but I've found that they are genuinely sweet people. I love MiMi's work, she's super courteous. rashmi gives a bomb French pedi with the pink base. Henry gives AMAZING massages during pedis and at the end of hand services. Mimi is amazing! I wish I had a picture of a before and after. I have always loved my long nails and got stuck in a bad habit of dip nails that were long. While they were beautiful, I eventually experienced three crack breaks all the way down to the nail bed. Ouch! After multiple fake tips to even out the breaks, I decided to go in and try this place. Mimi advised me on what was best for me in an effort to strengthen and grow out my nails evenly. We are at the beginning of the process with two short nails left but they look so clean and feel so good. She has been there five years and even with a soak off, I was in and out in one hour exactly. I could tell she knew exactly what she was doing and is very precise to make sure they look perfect and that I am happy with them. She immediately spotted that I had gone to an amateur before her somewhere else. Absolutely love the color and her glitter recommendation. Looks so clean and reminds me a little bubbles. Very disappointed in our experience today. Having been frequent customers prior to COVID, we had received two gift certificates for services December 2019. We didn't have a chance to use them prior to the pandemic, but went to use them today and presented them as we sat down. Both technicians reviewed the certificates and began our services. As we neared completion they simply disappeared, leaving my wife without sandals to leave the building and leaving me wrapped with towels. Eventually we both wiped ourselves down and went to pay. This is when the manager decided to dispute our gift certificates, saying they "expired" during COVID and demanded that we pay in full as "COVID was hard on everyone". I can't dispute that, but if it was a problem you should have let us know before receiving services and we would have taken our business elsewhere. We'll be doing that from now on as there are plenty of quality salons in the city that aren't seriously shady. read more

So I don't know why it is so hard to find a good nail place in Baltimore because there is one on every corner but it really is. I just moved to this neighborhood and I am so sick of driving to Owings Mills for shitty service so I said I would give this place a try. It is NEW so as of today it is Excellent ( hopefully it stays that way) I was here on a Thursday night around six and it was everything that I could have prayed for. besides for parking to be challenging and you may have to walk some blocks everything was good. Parking on some streets around the area is free after 6PM. When I first arrived I walked straight in and got serviced which gave them a A+. Mina was the one who I had the pleasure of doing my nails and toes. Everything was perfect. It did not take too long, but it wasn't too fast... A rushed job. The Customer service was great. The clientele there was REALLY NICE and professional. I enjoyed everybody presence, the energy and the conversation. So my nails and my toes are perfect. They are shaped nicely! so I am still not sure what the prices are here. The manicures are not listed but when you get your pedicures they have a price list. When I went to go pay I just had to pray it wasn't going to be that expensive. I guess this is my new nail spot for now. There weren't any screenings for covid symptoms. I got a pedi and gel mani. The service was nice, gentle, relaxing, thorough. There's a nice selection of quality colors. My polish last almost 3 weeks without a chip and I'm pretty rough handed. Even though I was in and out, it was not a rush job. I look forward to returning. I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure. Rashmi did a great job on my pedicure and manicure however when it came down to putting the design on my nail that I asked for, things slowly went downhill. She immediately knew she was not capable of doing what I wanted (which I greatly appreciated) so she told me someone else would do it. No problem, right? I was told I'd have to wait for her colleague to finish doing someone else's nails so she could do my design. I specifically picked this nail salon because the pictures posted show they could do out of the ordinary designs. Rashmi even took my phone to show her colleague what design I wanted and this one specific woman seemed like she was up for the challenge. Wrong wrong and WRONG. She starts out quite confident and then she starts telling me she's not sure if she can do it. I then told her we could skip that design and do some lines and dots and I'd be happy with that too. But she insist on trying. She tries. She fails. I hated it. She goes from telling me if I don't like it, she can take it off with no problem to actually being visibly upset when I told her I didn't like it. Now IM annoyed because has I not been able to get the design I wanted, I wouldn't have gotten these two colors on the nails that were supposed to have the design on them. I wouldn't simply did all my nails the same color. A few of my nails are actually rigid at the tip and I had to file it to make it even myself. The icing on the cake was being charged for a pedicure no one asked me if I wanted. I don't mind paying $30 for a pedicure but if I'm telling you I want a basic pedicure (and basic to me is their spa pedicure) it should be made clear that there is a difference. I'd also like to mention the snide remark the gentleman man when asked about the price ($70). He said "...and she didn't even charge you for the time she spent doing that design that she had to take off". Rudely asked to leave when I asked the male employee to wipe the station counter with alcohol. He was "offended." I find it offensive that in times with COVID-19 where hundreds of thousands have died that a simple ask was taken with such hostility. If truly maintaining a healthy facility was your prerogative for the health and safety of your customers and employees was important than simple ask shouldn't have been a problem. Especially since you were not following all COVID-19 procedures for your industry in front of my face. 1. You didn't wipe a station (plexi glass and counter) down after a customer's service was completed and then you sat another customer at the station. 2. You didn't wipe a station down after you moved a customer to another station. 3. The man who was supposed to soak off my nails, was touching his gloves so much, that he might as well as soaked off my nails with his bare hands. 4. Oh and the station I even set at was not in any position to where it appeared anything was wiped off. Both chairs sitting out and it wasn't completely cleared off. 5. And last but not least, more customers in the facility than employees. But thank goodness, everyone had on a mask. So now this business does not completely follow COVID safety procedures. read more
