Was not overly impressed. The waitress was extremely rude and rushed. She failed to take drink orders for 1/2 our table because she assumed they were underage. Once pointed out that they were in fact of age to order alcohol, she was pissed she had to make more drinks. Rolled her eyes and said "then what do you want." Then never asked our underage daughter if she wanted anything to drink at all. I had to interject mid "run by" the table. Then rushed us through ordering. The food was mediocre at best. Will not be back. There are way too many options in Indy to give this place another shot. Oh and drinks. Not that good.

First time at Mt Fuji. We had a large party and the restaurant was very accommodating. The service was prompt and friendly. The decor was modern but not too pretentious. Our guests enjoyed ramen, sushi, and other appetizers. Everyone loved their food and wants to come back again on our trip. With 11 high school students in our group, we were happy to find something for everyone. Check out Mt Fuji if you are in downtown Indy.

Definitely overhyped, the food was lukewarm at best, the pork was really overcooked and tough. The service was good though, and the overall vibe and aesthetic was nice. I can't say I would come back if I was in the area.

Very nice restaurant with comfortable booths and beautiful decor. Our waiter was great and pleasant to talk to. I rating the 4 stars because the yakisoba didn't taste like yakisoba at all. It also had that weird texture chicken. Everything else was great. The Japanese version of a Long Island was yummy, the lava cake tasted warm and fresh. My shrimp tempura was fresh and delicious. I'd come back wouldn't get the yakisoba.

4.30.26 We were downtown Thursday night and decided to try Mt Fuji. It looks appealing on the outside and, walking in, also has nice booths, some tables, and a unique, beautiful, large bar/sushi counter. The restaurant presents like a higher-end sushi house, but this is a little mismatched with the slightly loud 80s pop tunes streaming from the speakers. It seems like instrumental soft Japanese stings would be more appropriate. Also a little mismatched in the ambiance is a giant TV screen on the back wall (near out table), and large TVs over the bar area. They just don't "look right" with the tables and interior décor. The menu seems on par in price and offerings for similar-style sushi houses. We split edaname($6), I got the sushi dinner ($23) and hubs got the special lobster & seafood clay pot ($36). I drank water and he had 1 diet coke, so everything with tax + 20% tip came to $90. The food is presented beautifully, and tasted good. Both dinners had choice of soup or salad, and we each got ginger salad. We're lovers of ginger dressing. This one was ok - tasted good but could have used more, as I has lots of un-dressed lettuce in the bowl. My sushi dinner was fine but nothing extraordinary. For the "special" lobster & seafood clay pot, presentation was again beautiful, aroma and taste were good, nice sauce, but it was a little underwhelming in both seafood contents and amount. That being said, we had a small amount of leftovers from the hub's dish (some rice, sauce and veggies), and they present very nice takeout bags with a thermal lining. We actually ended up giving the container of food to a homeless man downtown, so I did not eat the leftovers, and, admittedly, it was not enough for a full lunch. So overall, while the food was very pretty and also tasty, we have a lot of other sushi options that give more bang to the buck for our quantity and atmosphere preferences. #yum #ReviewsByRL

The restaurant is very conveniently located in the downtown Indianapolis area. I was in town for a conference and was able to walk from the convention center to the restaurant for lunch! The restaurant has a very cute aesthetic and plenty of seating whether you wanna sit at a table or at the bar. It was a little bit of a busier time when we came for lunch, but it didn't take our group too long to be seated. They have plenty of options if you have a taste for sushi or if you want a regular protein based entrée with rice I also appreciate that there were a lot of veggie options for non-meat eaters. I had a dish with broccoli and shrimp and it had great flavor and the portion size was perfect. It also came with a small side salad or soup before your entree came out.

Updating my review after discovering the rest of my party was harassed by a strange man who walked into the restaurant and decided to invite himself to our table. He was asking my friends for drinks and would not leave them alone. Even after threatening to use pepper spray he would not leave. Someone from the restaurant should have insisted he leave but apparently they were no where to be found. This is disturbing and I do not want to return to a place where this is an issue. The table was enclosed indoors not on a patio. Look out for your patrons or expect to lose business.

The food was freshly prepared and tasted really great. The service was fast and friendly and any questions we had our server was able to answer. The overall ambience was clean and comfortable although I can get a little loud depending on how many people are there. The only challenge was our food was brought out at different times and not altogether but overall a great experience.

Located in downtown area called Miles Square close to the Indianapolis convention center. we stopped in for a sushi and ramen. The interior was nice and clean. we sat in a booth that was near the sushi bar. We ordered a few rolls, all the rolls average around $21 -$25. The rolls came out fairly quick and was decent. Before leaving we visited the washrooms and for the men side, both sinks were clogged and water was flooded. the entire floor was wet and paper everywhere. I told the front desk that the washrooms were clogged and they told me that they are working on it. Service was 8 out of 10, only negative was as she came by to grab my payment, she dropped my CC on the floor.

It was a quick visit for our hunger at this wonderful restaurant. Calvin T was our server and he was so awesome! I love how the kids menu is laid out, it's hilarious. We had a roll and some Hibachi rice and it was all delicious while we sat comfortably in an elevated booth. The ambiance was quiet and modern. Thanks for being a great host Calvin.

I had a wonderful experience at Mt Fuji during a trip to Indianapolis. We stayed downtown and this spot was walking distance from many hotels. I was thoroughly and pleasantly surprised by our experience here. Service was 10/10. Our waiter was extremely kind and gave excellent recommendations. The yellowtail jalapeño was delicious and we ordered quite a few rounds. The party platter was perfect for our larger group. All the fish was very fresh and good quality. Similar to "fancier" restaurants I've visited. Reasonable prices. We all left very full and satisfied.

This is a new Japanese restaurant downtown with a large sushi selection and other Japanese standards. They have a weekday lunch menu for downtown workers too. The decor is very modern and classy without being fussy.

We came in on a Friday night at 6:30 with no reservation, and had to wait ~5 minutes for a table of two. We were sat at a high top at the bar, which we appreciated. Our server greeted us quickly, and checked in a few times throughout the night. Service was average, nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about. I had a hurricane to start off. Packed full of the good stuff, and one was definitely enough for the night. Appropriate price for what you get. This drink is what brought my review from a 2 for the food to a 3 in total. We started off with pork Bao buns. The bun was spongy, but somewhat dry. The pork lacked any sort of flavor, and the sauce on it didn't do much for me. The next part of the meal was the most disappointing for me: the curry chicken wings. Let me tell you- I was excited for these. These lacked any sort of flavor at all, and the only thing saving it was the ranch. The wings had a good crisp, but the sauce was lacking taste. I had the Shoyu ramen for my main. It was a pretty average bowl of ramen, but for the price, I expected more. The pork in it was flavorful, but the chicken in it was odd in my opinion with an unexpected herby flavor. Overall, service was average (but we appreciated getting sat fast), drinks were strong (and saved the meal) and the food was average. Would go if invited by a friend, but probably would not return on my own.

The interior was a vibe with dim lighting that made the rainy meal experience even cozier. Ordering is easy either through the staff or a self ordering kiosk. I ordered a Hokkaido Miso ramen and sat down. Before I could pull out my phone my ramen came out piping hot. As I sipped and slurped my way through the ramen I tasted a rich and savory broth. It had a soft red miso flavor to it which complimented the fresh veggies, chasu and the egg. The chasu was thick and tender. The noodles were cooked perfectly too. I liked the addition of corn to finish up the soup at the end. If I'm in the area again I will be stopping for bubble tea as the menu looked great!

Thankfully, Yujo Ramen & Boba Tea was right up the road. It's tucked into the commercial strip off Meridian and 96th--you could almost miss it if you're not paying attention. I'll be honest: I arrived around 1:30pm and it was completely empty, which caught me off guard. But the vibe was nice and calming, the menu was extensive (ramen and boba options for days), and I landed on the spicy miso ramen--exactly what I needed to warm me up. Nailed it. The broth was rich, savory, and comforting with just the right amount of heat. Every ingredient tasted vibrant and fresh. The green onions, tender pork, and perfectly marinated soft-boiled egg were the ideal companions swimming in that spicy miso goodness. On a gray, cold Indianapolis day, this bowl absolutely hit the spot. Can't wait to come back and try the boba.
