We tried the same location a second time and same horrific service. When we moved to Florida my grandfather and I ate at one in Jacksonville and it was ok. Recently my wife and I visited the location in Melbourne, Fl. The parking lot was full and so was the building. We were seated in 10 minutes. Our server Keith took our order and was knowledgeable on the menu. However our experience went downhill from there. My wife ordered soup and salad and got it in 5 minutes. I ordered hamburger and had to watch my wife eat her food. It took another 20 minutes for my burger. My wife's soup was lukewarm at best and we had to ask for a fork for her salad. There was not silverware on the table when we arrived and Keith never once offered us any. I had to use my wife's napkin. When we asked for our tab. Keith asked us to fill out a survey. Truthfully he would not want me to review his service. I will say the food for the most part was good but BJ's and Keith struck out big time when it came to basic customer service. After multiple negative experiences at more than one BJ's we have decided this is it. We are done and will never visit BJ's again anywhere

The waitress didn't seem too happy about it but then she warmed up. Also, I noticed on Wednesday they have enchilada specials and on Monday they have some half-price appetizers! As you can see the food was plenty for and everything was delicious. I couldn't finish it all! Would definitely go back. I highly recommend for the value and taste. The food also was delicious along with the chip and tasty salsa of course :-)

El Chico Mexican Restaurant 1751 Evans Rd., Melbourne, FL 32904…read more 3 Stars (chain restaurant review) With origins dating back to a Texas county fair in 1926, El Chico Mexican Restaurant has been around for quite a while. In 1926, Alelaida "Mama" Cuellar's tamales were a massive hit at the county fair. Two years later, they opened their first restaurant in Kaufman, TX. The 11th opened in Six Flags Over Texas and is credited with introducing Mexican food to the American masses. In 1940, Mama Cuellar's children opened the first El Chico Cafe in Dallas, TX. Susan was my outstanding service professional for the meal. I asked Susan for an order of their Chorizo Tacos, a Grande Pollo Burrito and a side of chips and salsa. Susan brought my order out in no time and after snapping a few pics, I got to work. I always wonder if cooks smell the ingredients before they start using them OR do they smell them, realize they are not so fresh anymore, and think the dining public won't notice? Either way, this cook deserves strong jobation for this dish. The Chorizo meat was not good; it wasn't rancid, but if you opened the walk-in, I wouldn't be surprised if it was seen beating up the tomatoes as it was undoubtedly turning bad. Moving on to the Grande Pollo Burrito - the hero of this meal. Even though the chicken was a tad on the rubbery side (my guess is heated up in the microwave, but I could be wrong), the rice, beans and other fillings were excellent. While a bit chewy, the chicken was fajita-flavored and served with a beautiful chipotle wine sauce. The rice was cooked to perfection and the frijoles rancheros were succulently seasoned. If the chicken hadn't been nuked, it would have been fantastic. This brings me to what passed as chips and salsa in this cuchara grasosa. Please look at that pic and tell me that's not a cup of ketchup with a smattering of spice sprinkled in. It sure as Texas didn't taste like salsa. The chips were OK, but the salsa was not. Big Boy says, " 20 years ago, this was fantastic Tex-Mex. Today? Too much top-notch competition makes this yesterday's chimichangas."

Thank you Brittany for an amazing service!…read more We came here for the first time from California. I have to say the ambiance is very country chic modern. The service was friendly. The food was serviced within 10 minutes of ordering our breakfast. The prices are very good considering I would have charged more for what we ordered due to the quality and taste of the food. The food is well beyond average and could even be considered 5 star in my opinion. This place needs a Michelin star! We ordered from a seasonal menu The chimichurri steak came with potatoes and over easy egg. The chimichurri sauce on top was a very good balance taste. I would come back for this every week. I was so excited to try this I forgot to take a photo before I ate it !!

A slow morning at First watch....it was very chilly in the restaurant…read more Seated right away and had our drink order taken. Ordered up the Trifecta and a Skillet Hash. Trifecta was perfecta....good amount of eggs and meat. The waffle was hot and crispy. My skillet came out and I was hard pressed to find the avocado. It had to have been the smallest avocado ever harvested. I am sure they placed the teeny pieces where they were supposed to but the affect was lost due to the miniature slices. They did bring me some extra so I had enough. The potatoes had a weird after taste/finish. We think it was the paprika the use in the blend of the preseasoning of the packaged potatoes (server said they are seasoned when they get them). Either way it really was meh. Our server was attentive and other servers grabbed stuff for us. A fourth star is coming if they can figure out the seasoning on the potatoes.
