I just made a second order from Firehouse Subs. This is it, I could order everything on the menu, and as time goes on, I probably will. Unfortunately, I can't speak to ambiance, this was a delivery order. Ambiance at my house is comfortable tho! LOL. The Thanksgiving Sub is superb, the NY Steamers was a dream and the corned beef brisket will be in my dreams tonite! The bread is fresh, meats are real meat, they put a generous amount of meat & cheese in every sub, and delivery was so fast all our food arrived hot. Nice job Firehouse, you won us over!!

Was just trying to inform them of a mistake on the uber app. This manager keeps going on about the bogo deal. IM NOT TALKING ABOUT A BOGO DEAL IM TALKING ABOUT NO MEATBALL SUB BEING AVAILABLE ON THE APP FOR MONTHS. I've been ordering from the OTHER firehouse and was just trying to inform you it's not there. Like why are you riding so hard for the bogo, I had no issues with another manager ordering another sandwich and getting a meatball since it wasn't on the app. I would have ordered a non bogo item to get a meatball but this woman just wants to argue. "Hope you have the day you deserve"

Firehouse Subs (Chain Restaurant)-225 Palm Bay Rd NE Unit 184, West Melbourne, FL 32904 3 Stars Firehouse Subs is based in Jacksonville, Florida. It was founded in 1994 by brothers (and former firefighters) Chris and Robin Sorensen. The American based restaurant chain boasts over 1,200 locations in 46 states, with additional locations in Puerto Rico and Canada. Florida houses the majority of these with 179 locales. It's a rarity when I have an opportunity to conduct a second review for the same restaurant, or in this instance, the same chain. Toward that end, the West Melbourne location (in Hammock Landing) presented just such an occasion. It's also worthy of note that my previous rating was made, when service was given more weight in the process, in a time when service mattered. However, as the metric has now changed, wherein presently, my score is largely determined based upon the quality of the food, so too has my review, and it's certainly for the better. Allow me to digress for a moment, however. I simply must mention that Julian, the counter help, did an outstanding job. Since several additional restaurants were on the itinerary, I restricted my order to two, four-inch subs: a steak and cheese, and a Jamaican jerk turkey. Are these two anything special? No. Are either likely to garner a culinary award, or win a prize for prettiest bellibone? No. However, if I were staring down a Jersey Mike's, a Subway, or a Firehouse, I'd happily choose the latter. Big Boy Says, "give 'em a try."

Be nice is they would clean the ceiling, they are fixing your food below this.

You could spend some time cleaning your restaurant, always takes a long time to get food at this location

Over the previous 25 years, his claim to fame, his master work, and dubious distinction was earned by way of delivering the second worst breakfast in Brevard County. Thankfully, very little is left, which might serve to harken my mind back to the previous, disagreeable keeper of this establishment. I am glad to report that here in the present, the new owner offers what I can comfortably describe as awesome cuisine. Side Note: After this review I witnessed the aforementioned guy at the flea market selling his horrid food. My sentiments were most certainly bolstered by our server, Rhonda. She is absolutely a second quarter, qualified service finalist. She is most affable, exudes an exceedingly happy disposition and is just super friendly. She knows the menu well and preserves the diner's atmosphere, much like a lady tasked with protecting a zenana. My order consisted of two eggs, over medium, home fries, a biscuit, and kielbasa. It's worthy of note that all these items were adequately prepared and well-seasoned. The Kielbasa was great! The Gyro sandwich, while not prepared via a gyro spit, is nonetheless and likewise not meat of the frozen strips' variety, reminiscent of disgusting fare produced by unauthentic cheaters, as seen in the likes of Pat's Place (Eau Galle Blvd). This is a most satisfying and hearty breakfast, cooked well. Big Boy Says, "There is a lot worse out there. Rhonda is worth the price of admission."

The Don's Super Italiano was served on fresh bread and was a large portion. Al of the meats were flavorful and the veggies fresh. The Melbourne Bulldog was a delicious ham and turkey sub made my way. All the ingredients were fresh with all the meats and cheese cut to order. We made combos and props for size of chips. Not the small size but a true portion. And the tea was sweet and delicious. Trust me, my better half is a sweet tea connoisseur and it passed muster. " best I have had in years." Protip: they will wrap half to go when they make it. Two meals for one price. SCORE!!! Lastly and most importantly the staff were very friendly. Engaging and treated us like regulars. And there are regulars we saw come in at the rapid rate. We will be back.

I bought several pastries, focaccia, fresh mozzarella burrata, and deli meat as well as dry biscuits. It was just feeling like back home. Things you must try are (trust me, I am actually Italian): - biscotti mulino bianco (pan di stelle, abbracci, baiocchi) and ringo and gocciole; these are top notch for your breakfast and whenever your sweet craves hits - fresh mozzarella burrata; they make it there, it is hands made and as fresh as possibly can be - focaccia; make sure to eat it asap so it does not dry up, and accompany with deli meat - deli meat; try prosciutto cotto (equivalent to ham, but tastes 1000 times better), prosciutto, and the various types of salami. Porchetta is also a must. Make sure all deli meat is cut thin to enjoy the flavor at its best - pastries; cannoli, obviously. Meringhe, another easy hit. Chocolate eclairs are also delicious and filled with ton of cream

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Out of all the sub and hoagie restaurants located within southern Brevard County, specifically Palm Bay, Malabar, and Bayside Lakes, the one location that is both historic and iconic is Mash Hoagies (which I will shorthand simply to Mash for the remainder of this review). Mash has been in the same location for literal decades in the Palm Bay West just north of Winn Dixie (soon to be Aldi) and Little Ceasar's. First and foremost, Mash isn't the most visually-appealing place to eat. The dining room setup and colors are definitely out of the 70s, the time when the show the restaurant is based on, M*A*S*H*, came out. The walls right above each both showcases handdrawn charicaures of the actors in character. The cleanliness of the restaurant is up-to-par but more on the lines of better than fast food but just as good as fast casual. What makes Mash one of the best places to get your hoagies are three things: the family friendliness, the better-than-fair prices, and the overall deliciousness of the food. As an example, I will describe one of my orders with them, the "Italian Special" known as the Hawkeye. Named after the character, Hawkeye Pierce, played by Alan Alda and Donald Sutherland, the footlong sandwich consists of ham, capicola, salami, and provolone. You can load any sandwich to the brim with basic ingredients with premium ingredients costing a little bit more. But for $12 for a homemade behometh of a sandwich that is sure to feed a regular person three meals a day, it is a delicous steal. Add on top that the staff is friendly and sometimes will have a nice conversation with you while they make your sandwich. As mentioned earlier, Mash is homegrown with multiple decades serving the community. They have developed a family feel that has kept them more than alive and kicking through the highest highs like when Palm Bay West was the "it strip mall" for Palm Bay (because it was the only major strip mall in Palm Bay) to downward slumps like the (illegal?) pandemic. My suggestion is Carissa. She is very kind and she's been the one to make my sandwich almost every single time I have been there since I started Yelp (Eliting!). I must stress that overall, Mash does not have "the best" particular sandwich I can think of off the top of my head, but they are more than satisfactory and acceptable. For example, I can name a couple of Cuban restaurants that do better Cuban sandwiches than Mash (Hemingway's Tavern and El Ambia for example), but you can't go wrong if you want a Cuban from them either for convenience, price, etc. Given the many times I have been here pre-Yelp as well during my Yelp career, I am going to give Mash a five-out-five star rating. They've always been delicious with good food, good prices, and good service. As for restaurants within Palm Bay West, you can't go any better.

Facility: This is a small place located in a strip mall with Winn Dixie a few stores down. There are some tables and chairs to sit on if you want to stay. They have a ton of snacks out along the counter where you order and drink station on the opposite wall. Service: 5/5 Megan helped me and she was nice and patient. She talked me through the popular items and helped me narrow down my selection since there are a lot of choices. I ordered my food to go. I have to give extra kudos to the way they so thoughtfully packed the food. The sandwich was in nice thick paper so the oil won't leak through. They put a piece of cellophane over the salad to help keep it in place. They actually put napkins, utensils and crackers in for my salad. And they put things in separate paper bags for protection. Food: Italian - 4/5 unfortunately the bread was stale. But the meats and toppings were delicious... could use a little more salt and pepper though. But I love the way they wrapped a piece of ham around the toppings so they don't fall out when you take a bite. With fresh bread, this would have been a 5/5. Chef salad - 5/5 this salad was giant! Loved the toppings and the value for your money. Cheese sticks 2/5 They cook these in an air fryer and it is very obvious. Maybe some people prefer it this way, but the breading is just too bread-y when they don't fry it traditionally in oil. It's not as crunchy and it is lacking some of the flavor from the oil. I know you are saving my heart some of the bad fats, but maybe it's just a personal preference but I just don't like these cooked in an air fryer. Overall: I like this place. I will come back and try some more options.
