The service was good, 2 people working and they weren't slacking. It seating was good, plenty of room. Handicapped accessible. Plenty of parking. I thought the price was a little high, but when I saw my sub it was well worth it. Highly recommend.

Wanted to try something different. I believe for some strange reason I have tracking cookies?…read moreBecause I was on Social media and everything from Melbourne to Palm Bay restaurants kept popping up online. I'm a sucker for a good sub and Mash Hoagies, had decent reviews. We arrived 10 minutes from the hotel. Mash Hoagies was in a plaza with other commercial stores like Ollie's. I ordered the special, which consisted of 1/2 Blake the Colonel. Its consisted of ham, turkey and roast beef. I put the regular fixings mayo, mustard, pickles, lettuce and tomatoes and cup of turkey chili which my significant other end up eating. My step son ordered a Cuban sandwich and almost forgot purchased a side of fries. The sandwich tasted pretty good very meaty with the condiments enhancing the flavors. My boyfriend had a steak with cheddar cheese and stated he has had better. The sandwich to me was okay?, nothing to rave about. Mash Hoagies is named after the show, plenty of menu items contained names of the show. If you hungry come through and show love.

Papa Johns Pizza - The "Papadilla" is a glorified calzone/closed quesidilla that didn't hold together well.

You would think that any restaurant that touts the catchphrase, "Better ingredients, better pizza,"…read morewould have phenomenal pizza pies. But when it comes to Papa Johns, I digress. Apparently, their catchphrase/slogan/line can at least be halfway honest. They may be using better ingredients, but if you don't know how to utilize them, it doesn't matter if you have the best ingredients in the world. Even gold can turn into a turd. Sadly, Papa Johns just couldn't keep up with my preference. It was below average at best but at least you can finish the food without gagging. Something about how all of the food comes together just doesn't sit right compared to others. Domino's and Pizza Hut actually do a better job. Only Hungry Howie's, I can say, is not as good as them. Let's start with service. I will admit the staff were nice and had great customer service. So any negatives about this review does not reflect on them. As a matter of fact, I don't even fault them on the food they serve as they are following a recipe and design that is wholly Papa Johns. Only a little bit of disorganization when they lost my pizza and papadillas among other completed orders. No biggie as it was sorted out quick. Can't really say anything about the ambiance as it is not a place you go to for such. Now the clincher: the food. The papadillas was a gimmick that does not live up to the hype. Imagine an overglorified open calzone or pita sandwich that doesn't hold the innerds together. Imagine it with little distinction between steak and chicken. Finally, imagine it lacking in Doritos taste. That's a papadilla. As for the pizza, not bad but as mentioned earlier, other cheese pizzas have been better with the exception of Hungry Howie's. Ultimately, you could finish the food and be find, but you'll think in the back of your head there are other options that are better. In the end, I give this Papa Johns, specifically this location, 2 out of 5 stars. The food was less than average but can be finished. The service was positively average. And the price of food was way too expensive for what I ate, with most being an average of in between $10 and $20. Oh... and I waited about 15 to 20 minutes for my food after ordering at the front desk. Make sure to use the app or call the order in before showing.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more When it comes to fried chicken restaurants within South Brevard, we are limited in our choices if you don't include fried chicken cooked and served in Publix or New York Style Chinese Food restaurants. Ergo, Krispy Krunchy Chicken (which I will shorthand simply to Krispy Krunchy for the remainder of this review) is a bit of an anomaly. Reason why I say the aforementioned about Krispy Krunchy is the fact they are not big enough to have their own brick-n-mortar location, but they are technically an independent business despite piggy-backing space at gas stations and convenient stores. But don't get it twisted. Despite only being based inside of said gas stations and convenience stores, Krispy Krunchy makes some decent fried chicken, both on-the-bone which is primarily drumsticks and shoulders, and tenders. Not only that, they have a decent set of sides that can make dining from Krispy Krunchy a complete meal for the family. Though an address is provided, Krispy Krunchy is located in Diya Food Store within a strip mall on Jupiter Blvd. You have to go inside the convenience store to order their food as it is treated as part of the "food options" of the convenience store. Nevertheless, the food you get for the price you pay, not bad at all. There is fried chicken, biscuits, potato wedges, jambalaya, macaroni n' cheese, red beans and rice, mashed potatoes and gravy, and more. They even have empanadas and other goodies, too, but I stuck with the basic chicken dinner fixins'. The price for 12 pieces of chicken, three sides, six biscuits was about $30. Not bad at all given its locale and the nearest official fried chicken place is Popeoye's at the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Palm Bay Rd. Ultimately, I am going to give Krispy Krunchy Chicken a solid three-out-of-five stars for their rating. Krispy Krunchy is a solid choice for fried chicken fast food in the area for a decent price. Definitely not better than some higher-end choices, but still good.
