If I had to guess, I'd say that 75% of people (that's people, not Americans...pizza is…read moreinternational) in this wonderful world could probably put "Pizza expert" on their resumés, and 50% of those people would be right. I am one of those people. While I'm not exactly an international jet setter or anything, I have indeed experiences humanity's greatest creation next to music in several international cities and have made it a point to "try the pie" in hundreds of cities and small towns across the US. Whether it be a day time single slice, a late night post party calorie grab, or a beach hotel / motel feast...I can whole heartedly say that I've had the pleasure of trying a swath of the at least 50 styles of pizza available in our great country (yep, at least one style in every state, see video citation at the end), I can also confidently say that "NYC style" is the most famous, and the most commonly claimed by crappy pizza parlors in every nook and cranny across the US....Doughboyz, in little and sometimes sleepy Sebastian, FL is not one of them. It's not a neon saturated late-night spot on the strip, shelling out acres of bland but hot and satisfying jumbo slices. Conversely, it's also not a renowned and respected local Italian restaurant, lined with red and white checkered tables, and walls covered in autographed jerseys and photos with celebrities and athletes. In fact, as far as the actual venue goes, Doughboyz seems like an OK place to sit down for a slice, but not especially memorable (yet). This is exactly why my girlfriend, and I are so blown away with the DELICIOUS AND PROPER NYC style pizza that they make...and only between the unique and exclusive business hours that the owner couple is available to serve the community. Light, spongy, but crisp crust. Pleasantly sweet, but not overly "tomatoe-y" sauce, gooey but not greasy mozzarella cheese (almost sexual really), and what I believe to quality hand sliced meats, as well as other ingredients.... if you know, you just know. This is damned good Pizza and will make an impression on the first hungry bite! Now, as if that weren't enough. Doughboyz' ownership also puts their product confidence on display in a bold way by offering an enormous 24" monster pie that makes for an easy 100 liked on social media, while also providing delicious leftovers for at least one day (depending on the company of course). The best thing about this big boy is that after ordering it a few times now....it doesn't seem to skimp on anything compared to its traditionally sized counterparts, something that pizza aficionados know to be the oldest jumbo slice gimmick in the world. You get 24 inches of evenly distributed NYC style goodness, no excuses. Anyways! I'm supposed to be laying off bread and carbs for a couple weeks, and writing this review is making me hungry! Heck, I'm probably writing it today because I'm craving a slice THAT BAD. PIZZA IS LIFE, and in the beginning there was Doughboyz Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4L2uGof2As&t=29s&ab_channel=WeirdHistoryFood

The three stars are for the attitude of the staff actually making the pies and the floppy slice.

I have been meaning to make a review for a long time. Today before we put the order in I told my…read moremom I needed to hop on yelp and give them a nice review, since we have enjoyed this place for a few years now. Unfortunately today was a really bad day! I called and told the woman on the phone we want to eat under the pergola. She said we aint got that. I responded on your deck with the plants. She said we ain't got a deck. Have you ever been here? I said yes many times. I just want to eat our food on the patio under the pergola. She said I don't even know what that is. I explained, but then I said we would like to order an orange soda with cups. She said we dont do that on the phone. You can do that when u get here, we dont do that on the phone... Okay? We arrive i go in to pay. I ask if the bathrooms are available, she said no we don't let customers use them. I said Im sorry I know last time we were where here they were under construction, but we need to use the bathroom and wash our hands. She responded we don't let anyone use them. I told her thats a violation and you cannot deny a paying customer a bathroom. She said she would ask. I asked if the owner was around. She said I am the owner and my mom is here. She went to ask and never came back. I stood there for a few mins. Realized I never ordered a large soda for the table. Still she never came back. She went outside to talk to her man instead that was outside. I peered over to a familiar face (blonde lady, very sweet always). I told her I wanted to buy a soda. She came around. Then as I walked out I peered through the open door to the kitchen and I asked if her and the other lady ( who is also the owner, never met her. Only the gentleman who is probably her husband?).(male owner i have met handful of times is very nice). Anyway they told me like the daughter at the counter to use the restroom next door. (Same as a few weeks ago). I wouldn't have even cared even though annoyed about the bathroom like the last time if it wasn't for the daughter's crap attitude from the phone call to paying... plus the daughters boyfriend that was outside smoking a blunt look strung out! So yeaaa great experience of 50, 60 dollars!!!!!!!! And the plants are slowly dying. Sad bc it was gorgeous for a while. Not a great experience. Still have four stars for the years of a nice time til the last two and especially this last time! I will be there again in the future with the family but I will make sure I do the same time (early lunch) to not run into issues at hand this time.
