Walked into my favorite lunch spot Bizzarro's to get a slice. Normally I have my favorites. But today I was in line when I saw the lady in front of me order a salad. I never had one here before so I decided to try it out. So happy I did! I absolutely loved it. What a great option especially when you're trying to eat better. I highly recommend you try this place out if you have not. Everything I have ever eaten there before has been so good.

Agh. One of the two eggplant rollatinis. It was a n extremely small portion and cakey mess.

It's not fun to write reviews on poor experiences, but it's part of the honesty and integrity of the service reviews should provide. Anyone who reads my reviews of Italian restaurants knows that I'm always in search of the ultimate eggplant parmigiana. Yes, I've found it elsewhere, but certainly not here. I ordered the eggplant parm and the rollatini dinners partially out of ambivalence and laziness. After all, the Bizzarros's pizzeria in Viera was one of my favorite stops when I wanted an immediate taste of NY. Unfortunately, I've learned that the entrees and sides at this location are sub-par. The eggplant slices had soggy breading, and looked old and heavily soaked in oil. The ricotta in the rollatini, was very minimal and had a globby, cakey texture. The portion sizes for both were appalling for $12.95 per order. Most of the containers were filled with pasta, and the only reason I gave a 2-star rating, is because the sauce was very tasty, with a nice consistency. The salads were tiny but had a variety of mixed lettuce, tomato and onion with lots of croutons. The garlic knots were very good, but seriously, how can you mess up garlic knots? All-in-all, I might be inclined to order pizza from them in the future, but certainly nothing else. So sorry.

From the outside it reminded me of a childhood pizza parlor. We ordered Salad and pizza. Well memory is always better than the food served except here. It was one of the best pizza I've had in a long time.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more This location is becoming known as the initial startup location for many bakeries, cakeries, and dessert shops. For me, I remember when Jackie's Bakery was here. Then it was occupied by the iconic The Sweet Heartist. Now, we have another bakery here, one that specializes in gluten-free baked goods, Willow's Gluten-Free Bakery. To be fair, the offerings that Willow's Gluten-Free Bakery (which I will shorthand to simply Willow's for the remainder of the review) is kind of paultry compared to their predecessors, but I must stress that when you take into account everything is gluten-free, it is quite a lot. As a matter of fact, I will even go as far to say that Willow's has it harder as baking gluten-free products is not an easy task, and you have to follow certain guidelines and rules if you want to really live up to he moniker of being "gluten-free." Though an address is given, most Brevardians know of the locale that Willow's is at if they happen to be a huge supporter of indie businesses. It always gives me a giggle that the business is right next to an Asian massage parlor, but I guess for an initial location, it is a price most businesses can't refuse. The location is still smallish and Willow's has to utilize what they have just like their predecessors. On the bakeshop floor, they have two display cases, a display table, and a pie case. There is no mention of the wares being gluten-free so it must be assumed that everything is gluten-free unless specially noted. To be fair, it would be hard to do both gluten and non-gluten wares in such a small space. The rule of thumb, from my knowledge as a baker working at Publix in the past, is that you can't use the kitchenware for regular baked goods with gluten-free wares and the kitchenware for gluten-free wares can only have gluten-free ingredients, ONLY! This prevents cross-contamination. In short, if Willow's uses a heavy duty mixer and they do gluten and gluten-free wares, they'll need to have two mixers in their tight space so that they don't mix. Also, the possibility of cross-contamination is very high in such a small baking area, too. What labels they do have are any extra added health details such as being free of nuts, soy, eggs, or being completely vegan. And the range is quite big for such desserts including donuts, cakes, pies, and cookies. I, myself, came here because they have a "Cinnamon Roll Flight," which was fantastic. The price was fair and the buns were not too big, not too small. Like Baby Bear's porridge, bed, and chair, they are "just right." And the taste? Exquisite. They tasted exactly like their flavors including pumpkin pie, maple bacon, regular, etc. Ultimately, the only gripe I have is its weird location and the hours they have, plus te lack of selection near the end of their operating hours, which is more on me than them. For now, I will give Willow's four out of five stars for their flavor, their excellent customer service, and the range of their gluten-free line. If Willow's remains consistent for, let's say about four more visits, I'll grant them their fifth star for consistency.

I think I also had high expectations since they have been awarded some accolades as well. It's located in downtown Mount Dora, which is a very cute are. It's walkable and there's some parks on that road. We got there, it is an opening seating arrangement and a small restaurant. It was really cute and they have wine slushies and I wish I could have had some of those. I got a regular smash burger with truffle parm fries. It was definitely on the more expensive end of food. The burger was not really a true smash burger, but it was fine. I would rate is a 7/10. The truffle parm fries were an 8.5/10. It was definitely made well, I just think I wish both items had more flavor to it. The truffle parm fries felt like it used truffle oil, which is fine, but I couldn't taste it strongly. I could smell it, but not taste. The burger, I just wished was actually smashed into the griddle where it gets really crispy. I will say the customer service was excellent. They misheard my partner order an extra patty and they brought it out to him immediately. Otherwise, they have a lot of sauces and other little things to place on the burger, so maybe that's why they keep it more basic. I did not see all that till after I already ate the whole thing. Overall, I think it's good and an 7/10 restaurant. I'd like to come back and try it again to get a better opinion of it.

I got the vegan enchiladas and my husband got the nachos. Both were delicious. The enchiladas were topped with fresh shredded cabbage and tomatoes which gave enchiladas a nice crunch in each bite.
