If you are reading this... STAY AWAY from this location, its an absolute joke. I dont even know where to start. Lets start with the fries, when I was younger and went to five guys a large could feed a family of five to six people, they would shovel extra fries into the bag. This location? You are lucky if they even fill up the entire cup with fries, it wasnt even enough for two people. Moving on, the customer service? HORRENDOUS. You can never go wrong with Five Guys--the food is always on point. My only gripe is with the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines they use. They're often messy, splash everywhere, and if you don't let it run for a few seconds, you end up tasting whatever the last person poured. It's a small issue, but worth mentioning. So disappointed! I have celiac disease and have always had an amazing attention to allergy details at many other Five guys except this one. Epic fail!! This place is not allergy precaution attentive at all. When I ordered my French fries I alerted them right away that I had celiac disease and needed gluten allergy with severe reaction precautions. Not only did the person taking my order at the register not announce it to the cook or fry person but the fry person never changed his gloves not one time while I was there. He touched lots of things that would be loaded with cross contamination from the burger prep area due to the buns and then handled my napkins, bag and actually touched my fried. No areas or surfaces were cleaned for precautions or anything. At least a separate new pair of gloves would have been nice. He put his hands inside 4 separate bags with burgers in them to place fry orders a head of me. My receipt does say gluten on it so it was on his order. NOT A SAFE location for celiac people...nor any allergy of any kind that would want to eat at this location. I walked out and threw my fries in the trash. Not worth a trip to the hospital for me. $7.60 out the window. Don't do it. They cleaned no surfaces at all the entire time I was there either. read more

This was my first time here and it was basically just overpriced fast food. A two person order total came out to $52 !!!!!! I would be stressing if I had to feed the family. For just the cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger alone cost over $23. The fries were so over greasy that the bag was soaked on the sides and bottom. The excess grease made them taste gross. The burger did not stand out it was a basic tasting cheese burger on a bun. Even though the place was clean & the food was made quickly I will not be returning to any Five Guys. Good place for a hamburger and Fries in Palm Bay This location is one of the over 1300 locations in the United States. It is located in the shopping center on the northwest corner of Palm bay Road. It is located on the corner of an out parcel to a large open shopping center with a challenging traffic pattern and limited parking in front of the south side of the store. There is searching both outside and inside. The outside tables are round metal tables. The inside dining area has about 20 4-person tables of various heights with metal chairs. You enter through the front door in the corner of the store. You order at the counter, pay, receive a number and wait for your food to be cooked to order. The staff was very pleasant and efficient. You can see your order being prepared behind the register. The cost of 2 hamburgers, 2 drinks and 1 order of french fries was over $30 so it is not as cheap as it once was. Drinks are from a serve-yourself station with 2 large electronic coke machines, ice, and condiments. All the tables and surfaces were kept very clean by one individual that did not stop wiping down the entire restaurant the entire time I was there. Overall a very pleasant, delicious experience that was a little higher priced than our previous visits. read more

This was during a slow afternoon, only 2-3 customers in the store at any given time. 2:02pm - mobile order placed, with 2:15pm being quoted as expected time for the order to be ready 2:15pm - not ready 2:25pm - spoke to the cashier, they had not looked at the mobile order, then said they'd start it and it would only be a few minutes 2:45pm - Other customers placed their orders, and they were completed ahead of me, all while I watched on. 2:46pm - They still had not even started cooking the patties for my order, I requested a refund 2:48pm - While the employee was working on refunding me, the manager spoke to him to ask him what the issue was. He told her, and the manager didn't acknowledge me even though I was standing right there, approx 2 feet from her. No apology or recognition of their mistakes, even after I informed her that it had been 45 minutes with multiple interactions, and they still hadn't even started it. Ordered 5 burgers and 2 large fries for take out. The fries were much smaller than normal- no bag fries thrown in like there normally are, just the cup of fries, but I will not knock them any stars for that because they were PACKED. We ordered on Saturday night for pickup at 9:07 and our food was not ready until closer to 9:30. There were probably 10 other parties waiting for their food at the same time and 5 or so people preparing food and one designated to taking orders. I'm honestly shocked that all of our burgers were not only cooked perfectly but given to us with the correct toppings-something that has happened often at other five guys locations with much simpler orders. The guy at the register who checked us in and got us condiments to go was super nice and friendly and helpful. His attitude honestly made our night, he managed to be so upbeat even when they were all clearly so busy and stressed. They were attempting to social distance with clear markings around the store and had all usual self serve condiments in the back available upon request. For the newbies out there: the little burger is a one hamburger patty and the regular is two. Over a dozen toppings to add on or leave off... I heard about this restaurant chain over four years ago and went for my very first time today (05/17/18). Ordering was not hard for me. I did not realize until afterwards- from a review I read posted on the wall about what constitutes "standard" here- that their burgers are supposed to come with 2 patties. So I scan the burger menu and toppings and start ordering a Single Patty Hamburger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, pickles, Extra Onion (raw) and two side sauces. My two side condiments were: Jalapenos & steak sauce. I also ordered fries and a soft drink. During the ordering process I was asked whether I wanted a Shake or a Drink. I answered "drink" but was asked two more times, I think, because the music here was too loud during lunch rush on a Thursday. I was here ordering at about 1:20 PM. After the 2nd time I answered "drink" the cashier heard me to say "shake." A medium to large sign on the wall by food pickup explains where the potatoes being served today originate from. Interesting. High Quality potatoes- not frozen ones- are used for the fries. The fries are partially skin-on and taste very good and fresh. Real food for real people. The food took a little longer than a fast food restaurant and that was okay for the quality one gets. I advised the food preparation person that my meal was "for here" but, as I learned today, trays are not used for "for here" orders so the meal is packed in a brown bag. I served myself a soda using the empty cup provided. "Regular" size here is medium. If I could change anything about beverage service I hope one day Five Guys moves to a freestyle beverage machine of the sort one can find these days at a Wendts, BK, or FH Subs. I opted for a Diet Coke as that was the only good diet soft drink offering I saw. The burger was messy bc of the mustardcI ordered and mine came with mustard on the outside of the foil looking wrap encasing the hamburger. Unfortunately, as a result my hands got covered in bright yellow mustard as I tried to eat. It tasted real, real good though. I am thinking next time I will order Light Mustard so as not to have a repeat of the mustard mess. If I am hungry enough next time I will also consider getting a 2-patty "standard" portion burger. I should also mention that complimentary peanuts are available and the store floor is littered with peanut shells. I didn't eat any of the peanuts but saved myself for the star attraction. We tried every single burger place we could find over the years. After finding 5 Guys, they may have opened up better ones, but we wouldn't know because we haven't been able to move on! There's only one other burger place I could compare it to, but that's a small owner-run place in California. I would need to go to Texas to try them there, but until then, 5 Guys is it. We all have our usual orders by now (mine is a cheeseburger with lettuce, grilled green peppers, fresh jalapeno peppers, bacon, grilled onions, mayo, & ketchup). You can order a little one that has only a single patty, or you can add an extra patty to it too (popular for weightlifters that need the protein). They will even wrap your burger in lettuce if you don't want to eat the bun (for those on keto, paleo, or other carb-free or gluten-free diets). They have other things on their menu too - like hotdogs, grilled cheese, and veggie sandwiches. Fries and milkshakes complete the meal (if you're into that). The staff are usually either very friendly or at least polite. I like that they number everything and staple the list to the take-out bag so that we don't have to peek inside everything to find out which order is which. 5 Guys Burgers... What can I say other than they have the best burgers in town. Every burger is made to order with the fixens you want. The fries are great (just cut potatoes and the right amount of salt) and they give you a giant mound of them, don't forget to give the Cajun fries a try. The hamburgers are seasoned and made up fresh everyday. They don't smash all the juice out of them so they are dry and tasteless like so many other burger places. They have a very simple menu. Burgers, fries, milkshakes and that's it. Oh and shelled peanuts to eat while you wait. They are making your burger fresh so there is a short wait maybe 10min at most. The place can fill up, sometimes you have to wait in line for a bit. The short wait is worth it though. The restaurant is nothing to write home about, not much to it, seating and a big open kitchen so you can watch them making your burger. The friendly attentive staff keep the dining room clean and well maintained. I have only one complaint, (why its missing a star) they are over priced. I don't mind paying a little more for a good meal, but In-N-Out does as good a burger if not better than 5 Guys and there burgers are dollars cheaper. Don't get me wrong, 5 Guys is great food and a definite must if you like a good burger. It's just that with the prices I find myself only splurging on 5 guys once in a while. As a California native, I was told the only thing comparable in Florida to In-N-Out is Five Guys. While the Five Guys menu has more toppings options (mushrooms, green peppers, bbq sauce, etc), the burgers and fries aren't even close. The restaurant is a open and bright.
