a turkey sandwich cut in half
    Todd D.

Arby's, 2300 West New Haven Avenue, West Melbourne, Florida - 4- Stars (Fast Food Rating) Sometimes you just don't have time for a sit-down meal, and you are sick of burgers. One fast food place that occasionally gets overlooked is Arby's. It was founded back in 1964, but what blows my preconceived notions is how Arby's seems to have suddenly become an alternate fast-food (or as Arby's likes to refer to itself, Fast Crafted ®) reality alt fast. Claiming to be the second-largest sandwich restaurant in the world with over 3,500 locations in nine countries, the menu is no longer just roast beef. In fact, Arby's states that it "celebrates the art of Meatcraft® with a variety of high-quality proteins and innovative crave-able sides." Indeed, the menu has expanded greatly. There is a full menu of what appears to be healthier options as well as a wide range of cheat foods. This is not your grandmothers Arby's. Robin is the counter help. She is a wizened veteran of the restaurant business and has an amazing personality for the level she is working here. This must reflect the Arby's Restaurant Group's stated brand purpose of Inspiring Smiles Through Delightful Experiences ™. I am not making this up. Robin even went out to the dining room to ask customers how their food tasted. WHAT? Imagine them doing THAT at the Golden Arches! I ordered the Classic Roast Beef--the standard Arby's throwback--although I had a choice of twelve different Slow Roasted Beef items. Tasty morsels of processed beef product with the accurate flavoring. Next, I tried the Turkey Ranch and Bacon, which had fresh lettuce and tomato and looked and tasted good. Currently, due to a turkey shortage, you can only get this sandwich in one of their stores, not online. Last, an order of the Crinkle Fries (although the Curly Fries looked good too). These fries were cooked right, not over or under fried. The Big Boy says, "Take a break from Mickey D's and give Arby's a shot."

Out of all the Arby's that I go to, this one is the location I frequent the most simply because it is the closest to me. Located right across from the Publix Shopping Plaza on New Haven Rd. (also known as US-192), it stands on its own but delivers like the others generally do too. The overall design and decor has been updated from the times I been here before my Yelp days. I will say it looks minimalist but still nice and welcoming, a combination I admire since too much of anything often comes off as tacky at a fast-food restaurant. The addition of television sets are a plus so I was able to watch the game. As for food, it is still the same: nicely priced and delicious. Very rarely will there be something bad I've eaten at an Arby's. The only reason this Arby's gets a higher mark than my original A-Okay of three stars is the staff. I am a bit biased here but they somewhat know me so they tend to be a bit friendlier and real per se. Being that I like people, that speaks volumes to me. Ultimately, this Arby's is just like any other Arby's when it comes to good food at an excellent price with friendly service. I think what is more of a rarity (well around these parts) is an Arby's that sucks.

Wow! Worst service, worst presentation, worst food ever in an Arby's. This location should be shut down. We were never greeted by cashier. She was incredibly rude. As she took our order the rudeness overwhelmed my wife and I. We then went back and had to clean off a table to have a place to sit. There was only one other couple in the place yet Miss Rude couldn't find time to clean? Then our food arrived. Incredible. Neither of our sandwiches was eatable. Mine is shown in the photos. Instead of shaved roast beef we got medium sliced lunch meat. It was an absolute mess. The cheddar and the Arby sauce was lathered all over the bun inside and out. The meat had more sticking out than was in the bun. The bun was broken and more cheddar and sauce leaking out of it. My wife's sandwich was nearly as bad as mine, but without the broken bun. Seriously horrible meal from start to finish. I hope Arby's will take action here. Our visit was Sunday June 23 at 7:00pm.

Food great as always. But won't go back until you bring back the apple pie shake! You had something great and now it's over!

But only for the 2 for $6 special deals. Otherwise, it's much too expensive like most restaurants these days.

I got what I ordered, quickly. Everything was hot and neat. Front service was quick and polite. I will go to this Arby's as my first choice.

There was nobody at the door and nobody behind the counter and a sign that said order at the kiosk. It was a little odd it really gave ghost kitchen vibes. What's the order was entered into the computer and paid somebody came out from back of the kitchen and began to make my food. I'm not sure if he even said hello to me but he did his job perfect. Once it was done he put it up in the window and I was able to take it. The store is a great paint shop inside it's just so weird that you can't sit there and eat your sandwich. Now the chicken sandwich itself seemed like it was massively over size. I had chicken breast hanging out both sides of the bun. And it wasn't a crappy Patty that you're used to at normal fast food places. It was pretty good a nice juicy and a Buffalo wasn't too spicy it was great. Only question is that these chickens at their serving up have such big boobies that I'm wondering if this is a Turkey breast. Of course it's not a Turkey but it's so big it'll make you think it was. Overall I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some more menu items.

Another very automated experience with you ordering on a kiosk and waiting for your number to be called when your food is ready. **INITIAL REVIEW**…read more When it comes to fried chicken restaurants within South Brevard, we are limited in our choices if you don't include fried chicken cooked and served in Publix or New York Style Chinese Food restaurants. Ergo, Krispy Krunchy Chicken (which I will shorthand simply to Krispy Krunchy for the remainder of this review) is a bit of an anomaly. Reason why I say the aforementioned about Krispy Krunchy is the fact they are not big enough to have their own brick-n-mortar location, but they are technically an independent business despite piggy-backing space at gas stations and convenient stores. But don't get it twisted. Despite only being based inside of said gas stations and convenience stores, Krispy Krunchy makes some decent fried chicken, both on-the-bone which is primarily drumsticks and shoulders, and tenders. Not only that, they have a decent set of sides that can make dining from Krispy Krunchy a complete meal for the family. Though an address is provided, Krispy Krunchy is located in Diya Food Store within a strip mall on Jupiter Blvd. You have to go inside the convenience store to order their food as it is treated as part of the "food options" of the convenience store. Nevertheless, the food you get for the price you pay, not bad at all. There is fried chicken, biscuits, potato wedges, jambalaya, macaroni n' cheese, red beans and rice, mashed potatoes and gravy, and more. They even have empanadas and other goodies, too, but I stuck with the basic chicken dinner fixins'. The price for 12 pieces of chicken, three sides, six biscuits was about $30. Not bad at all given its locale and the nearest official fried chicken place is Popeoye's at the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Palm Bay Rd. Ultimately, I am going to give Krispy Krunchy Chicken a solid three-out-of-five stars for their rating. Krispy Krunchy is a solid choice for fried chicken fast food in the area for a decent price. Definitely not better than some higher-end choices, but still good.
