    The Betty Boop Burger

The service was great and atmosphere was fun. Fun music playing and outdoor seating. The food was very good. Pork tenderloin was just like what I grew up on in Indiana and was so nostalgic. The Betty Boop Burger was good and my companion said the chili and coleslaw were very good. Highly recommend this place.

I love Burger Inn and there is always a chance you will have bad food no matter where you go and no matter how many times you visit. I hate making this review because I'm such a huge fan. I made a pick up order and only live 5 minutes away. That being said, the chicken nuggets were severely overcooked. The burger was drier compared to what I normally get. The fries were plentiful as usual, but they were barely warm. I will give this place another chance, but 2 bad experiences in a row deter me from ever going back.

Food and service was really good. Love the old time vibes it gave. Would it be my #1 place that I go ohhh I want to eat there no. But I still enjoyed it ! I give the burgers 6/10.

TERRIBLE. Waited over an hour for 2 Burgers and a side of fries. We asked about our order at the 40 minute point, and was told we're checking on it now. And then at the 1 hour point I stood at their counter till we got a response on what was going on because multiple people who ordered after us received their orders already and had eaten and left. The staff lied to our face and said they do the orders in order. Then another 15 minutes later our TO-GO order was given to us. It was a frozen burger with frozen fries and zero seasoning. I wouldn't recommend coming here. You're better off ordering from a porta-potty and hoping to get sh*t. They also told us TO-GO orders are not their priority, which is completely backwards from conventional operations.

Cool Florida vibe with all the seating outside covered patio. Table service was quick and friendly! The food is cooked to order and came out quick and hot! The burger was delicious, but kinda thin. I should have got the double, but it was really good! Lots of bacon on the BCB!!! I got mine with the standard toppings (lettuce, tomato, onions, etc...) but they have a good selection of topping as well.

This is the only indoor seating (behind the glass) and more bar-seating outside.

We found a new restaurant to take our guests! The Burger Inn is such a nice surprise because it's got a great '50s atmosphere with its decor, excellent and friendly customer service (by servers Lisa & Jodi), very affordable prices, and delicious food! The majority of the seating is outside. I was worried that I might be too cold or too wind-blown to enjoy my meal, but neither was a concern after we sat down at one of the concrete round patio tables, because the whole outdoor seating was enclosed with wall-like screens! There IS indoor seating for a few people at a diner-like bar/counter. I am very impressed with the vegan options: MULTIPLE types of vegan burgers, vegan mayo, and vegan cheese! The Fried Mushrooms were fantastic, and hot to the last bite! The Sweet Potato Tots were perfect (the right size, browned just right, and more than enough)! I am also impressed with hand sanitizer being on every table! They also have known natural insect deterrents (bag of water with a penny inside) hanging/scattered throughout the place! In addition to seating at the indoor or outdoor bar/counter for one, there was also a TABLE for one! Many orders were TO GO orders that customers either came in to retrieve, or they sat out in their car while the wait staff brought them their orders!

Their food is so so delicious, quickly became a comfort food. The fries are really good without being too salty and have great crunch. The area is actually really nice, I love when the train goes by. Every time I come no matter what waitress we get they are extremely sweet and attentive. We had their bacon burger, Pickle Fries and Cheese curds and it was all delicious, fresh and hot.

The year is 1952. The foundation is being laid for a little burger joint to rise up out of the Florida sand. At the same time, Mr Potato Head was born. The first Corvette prototype was also born. I Love Lucy was a brand new tv show. The typical new house cost about $9,000! Life was pretty good. And soon, the food would be dang good! Hungry families would park their brand new Hudsons and shiny Chevies side by side, staying seated, to be served by young ladies who'd 'hop' or walk or roller skate between these customers, taking their food orders. They'd come to be known as Car Hops. Fast forward 71 years! It'd been a long time since this teenager bit a burger & slurped a shake while on a Burger Inn date. It felt real good to be back. Of course, I got a Cheeseburger, all the way with a heaping side of Onion Rings. I was grinning from ear to ear as I sunk my teeth into that virtual taste of my adolescence. Service...as always was 'hopping'! I had the best vantage point, sitting at the counter with the swiveling high chairs. I caught all of the action. Platters and baskets teased the taste buds as they passed. The choreography of the cooking crew just inside. Go to The Burger Inn. It's old and loves getting visitors. Then stick around to soak up the aromas and the atmosphere as you dine, drive-in style. Yeah...

First timers! We went on a cold night {not ideal} we had five people so couldn't go inside. Everything was fast food like, so keep that in mind. The burgers were decent, the Mac and cheese is in cheese sauce, the shakes missed the make but the vibe it there. I wish the food quality was better because we loved the atmosphere and everyone was nice. Lots of parking but not accessible at all, unfortunately. The bathroom, especially.

Over rated, over priced, greasy shoe string fries, a cholesterol overload. Long lines and during lunch slow service.

I've never been to this restaurant before at this specific location, but I can see why everyone picked it As is to be expected different people arrived at different times, but we were all able to sit comfortably in a group and the weight staff accommodated our amount of guests by exhibiting adaptability and patience I personally enjoyed a classic cheeseburger with a double patty and a side of steamed vegetables. Not only is this place military friendly but the quality and quantity of food I got at that price point doesn't feel like it can be beat. I will say that I glanced over at the Pizookie which looks fantastic and saw a drink with a duck in it that is going to ensure the next time I come by I try it as well Sharon was our waitress and she did a fantastic job making sure everyone's order was on point and circling back often not only to check on our food but to refresh our drinks accordingly. Another thing I liked was that people's orders were brought out virtually close to one another despite being ordered a different times. We had a fantastic time. The place was super clean. There was plenty of parking and easy to find all in all the experience merits every last one of its five star ratings.

We tried the same location a second time and same horrific service. When we moved to Florida my grandfather and I ate at one in Jacksonville and it was ok. Recently my wife and I visited the location in Melbourne, Fl. The parking lot was full and so was the building. We were seated in 10 minutes. Our server Keith took our order and was knowledgeable on the menu. However our experience went downhill from there. My wife ordered soup and salad and got it in 5 minutes. I ordered hamburger and had to watch my wife eat her food. It took another 20 minutes for my burger. My wife's soup was lukewarm at best and we had to ask for a fork for her salad. There was not silverware on the table when we arrived and Keith never once offered us any. I had to use my wife's napkin. When we asked for our tab. Keith asked us to fill out a survey. Truthfully he would not want me to review his service. I will say the food for the most part was good but BJ's and Keith struck out big time when it came to basic customer service. After multiple negative experiences at more than one BJ's we have decided this is it. We are done and will never visit BJ's again anywhere

El Chico Mexican Restaurant 1751 Evans Rd., Melbourne, FL 32904…read more 3 Stars (chain restaurant review) With origins dating back to a Texas county fair in 1926, El Chico Mexican Restaurant has been around for quite a while. In 1926, Alelaida "Mama" Cuellar's tamales were a massive hit at the county fair. Two years later, they opened their first restaurant in Kaufman, TX. The 11th opened in Six Flags Over Texas and is credited with introducing Mexican food to the American masses. In 1940, Mama Cuellar's children opened the first El Chico Cafe in Dallas, TX. Susan was my outstanding service professional for the meal. I asked Susan for an order of their Chorizo Tacos, a Grande Pollo Burrito and a side of chips and salsa. Susan brought my order out in no time and after snapping a few pics, I got to work. I always wonder if cooks smell the ingredients before they start using them OR do they smell them, realize they are not so fresh anymore, and think the dining public won't notice? Either way, this cook deserves strong jobation for this dish. The Chorizo meat was not good; it wasn't rancid, but if you opened the walk-in, I wouldn't be surprised if it was seen beating up the tomatoes as it was undoubtedly turning bad. Moving on to the Grande Pollo Burrito - the hero of this meal. Even though the chicken was a tad on the rubbery side (my guess is heated up in the microwave, but I could be wrong), the rice, beans and other fillings were excellent. While a bit chewy, the chicken was fajita-flavored and served with a beautiful chipotle wine sauce. The rice was cooked to perfection and the frijoles rancheros were succulently seasoned. If the chicken hadn't been nuked, it would have been fantastic. This brings me to what passed as chips and salsa in this cuchara grasosa. Please look at that pic and tell me that's not a cup of ketchup with a smattering of spice sprinkled in. It sure as Texas didn't taste like salsa. The chips were OK, but the salsa was not. Big Boy says, " 20 years ago, this was fantastic Tex-Mex. Today? Too much top-notch competition makes this yesterday's chimichangas."
