There is ample parking, including handicap spaces available. This location is open 24/7 and if it will be closed for holidays or other reasons, there will be postings on the door. We Donut has minor seating indoor, a local wall of business cards and some of the best damn Apple Fritters you've ever laid eyes on. To the left you will see their menu, with hot and cold foods, sweet and savory, and a limited custom drink menu and variety drink fridge behind the counter. Inside you will be met with rows of delicious, fresh donuts and you can see the magic happen while they make all types of varieties right then and there in plain view for all to see, ogle, and gawk! My personal favorite is the fritter, but they are also known for their huge bear claws and cinnamon buns. You'll find classics as well and extra special treats like the cream filled bar! Service is amazing, the owners are so kind and they keep their prices incredibly competitive, the Apple Fritter here is $2.25, so I just have to get three of them to use my debit card with a $5 minimum purchase The store is cute and charming but we all come for the hot fresh 24/7 donuts and we keep coming back because they are that damn good and always available!

He also threw in an apple fritter which was fabulous! Their breakfast menu includes bagel/croissant sandwiches, breakfast burritos, egg sandos, pancakes, scrambles. There were also a lot of drink choices, but I didn't order anything to drink. The donuts were fresh and tasty. Not too sweet, just perfection. I ate two donuts and I couldn't help myself, I dug into the apple fritter. The outside had a little crisp to it and the inside was light, hint of cinnamon and chunks of apples. It was amazing. Not only was it exceptional customer service, but he backs it up with quality product. There are a couple of tables to eat at. Lot's of room in the dining area, plenty of food and drink choices. Mr T's has been an icon in Modesto for decades and he is still going strong. Why anyone would want to open a chain branded store just across the street is beyond me because Mr T has the art of making donuts down! The donuts and pastries are ways super fresh and beautiful to look at as well even though we never get to look at what we have purchased for long because they disappear like snow before the sun once the box is opened. I just love this classic american type shop where all you can get are just typical delicious african donuts and they are served with pride and with a smile. We came back three times during the past Christmas break and eery time was a feast! If I lived in Modesto I am sure I would come by very often. Now I will have to wait until my next family visit which unfortunately will be a while. In the meantime .. keep it up Mr T. read more

This place is nothing but 5 stars all the way! Amazing donuts, best in town! Everything you could want! They have milk and coffee, the works. The staff is always very kind, very busy and loved by Modesto. I love supporting small businesses like this one. Also is open 24 hours! You can go at 2:00AM and there will be fresh donut holes waiting for you! What else could you want out of life! Also I don't know what it is but you don't feel bad after eating the donut. Let's be real. No one beats Mr. T's. This is THE place to go. Let's face it. California is expensive so we aren't crazy thrilled that their prices have hiked up enough to give me small panic attacks when all the kids order something (it's just donuts) but I recognize it's the rising costs around us. Their maple donuts just don't compare to anyone. Place is open 24 hours. Don't go on a Saturday or Sunday morning unless you like the idea of bening just short of hiking out with your own set of chairs outside for an hour. Just speaks volumes of how delicious they really are. Screw Dunkin across the street. I hope this small business didn't hurt at all after they opened. Support small and screw the big guys. read more

Best donuts ever. When my great grandmother, who was 105 years old at the time, attended my sister's engagement party, my parents bought a couple dozen donuts for the event. The next day my great grandmother asked my dad if there were any more donuts. We went back to Mr. T's for another 2 dozen, one dozen to eat that morning and one dozen for my great grandmother to take home with her. That just show you how good Mr. T's donuts are. Just yesterday, at the CVS Target pharmacy in Riverbank, we were discussing how good Mr. T's donut are. Somewhat of a landmark here in Modesto. Mr T's is hands down the best donut shop around. With a great variety, you can stop by anytime and you will almost always see someone making fresh donuts. I have introduced Mr T's to many friends and family and the response is always the same, delicious! As a matter of fact, often times when I am traveling to visit family, I am asked to pick up a couple dozen of Mr T's donuts. Truly a great establishment and the staff is always super nice. There are not enough words to write a review on Mr. Ts donuts. Their choices are amazing, their staff are fun and the atmosphere is the best because everyone knows everyone. The best donuts in California hands down, been up to the mountains, had niche donuts in san fran, had some by the oceans of san diego, had old shops in LA, got em with some sweet tea down in the desert, and anyone who has ever travelled here knows these are it. This is what you bring to a kids birthday or the office party, i dare you to show up with a pink box and see what happen. The box itself is an icon of modesto. What is with Mr. T's lately? If your not getting a dozen they try to shove the donuts in a few bags rather than giving you the smaller size box. If you ask for a box they upcharge you. What kind of place that sells baked goods does that? The donuts they shove in bags get messy and all over each other. And the staff is rude more often than not. This is hands down the best place for donuts! The hot chocolate is delicious as well! My friends and I once had an intense game of UNO in their seating area and a vicious fight broke out as every game of UNO always does. But I found myself too focused on the chocolate donut in front of me that I didn't pay much attention to the questioning of whether someone's boyfriend was loyal or not. I have been visiting Mr T's since I was in the 8th grade. Now in my 30's I continue to visit the big T every Sunday. George Lucas could make a movie about this shop and it wouldn't get any more famous. The Big T is the place to go for a good old fashioned family atmosphere, pass around the newspaper, talk about the weather, and get updates on the traffic.
