Service as quick because we had to catch a flight , it's typical Chinese fare nothing very fancy. Neatly maintained restaurant

Pleasant space but not very full when I went on a Thursday night. Not sure the vaguely nautical theme fits. It seems like they do a lot of take out business. The cocktails were good. Had an old fashioned and a Mai tai. The pork and crab soup dumplings are probably the best I've had in Syracuse. While the half potion of Peking Duck seems pricey it is a large portion with 6 steamed buns and they give a choice of salt and pepper bones or soup with the remaining duck catch. Only wish the duck skin was a little crisper.

This place is great for larger groups. We had 6 of us and were seated immediately. Our drinks were delicious and the food came out piping hot and perfectly cooked. The ambiance is so aesthetically pleasing, especially with the Sakura blossoms, traditional music and projected video of Asian landmarks. Absolutely stunning! Everything was fantastic! You must try it!

Have you ever driven by a place and just said wow I think I need to go there? This was that place for me. I drove by the building around three times in my travels and its exterior just spoke to me, I love the color and I love the layout. I didn't realize I would love the interior as well! Kind of a nautical theme meets and among the trees type feeling. Very well lit, very well decorated. But that's not why I came, I came to eat! I figured with the name that they bear, they must have really good dumplings. I asked my server what her favorite items on the menu were, and the soup dumpling needed to be tried. I also ordered the chicken lo mein, because it's a favorite dish of mine. The soup dumplings were amazing, proper chew and texture on the dumpling, a proper chew to the meat that was inside, and an explosion of soup, which was absolutely delicious and flavorful. I could only three of them, because I knew that I would eat the rest of them if I didn't exercise some willpower. Luckily, the lo mein came out and I could enjoy that and not be totally stuffed. The lo mein was perfect temperature, flavorful well cooked pieces of chicken, and the noodles were perfectly done. If you're ever out in Syracuse and happen to be driving down Erie Boulevard and see this bright building, you should stop!

We've gone to Mr. Noodle & Ms. Dumpling a few times now. We've dined in & we have taken out. We've had mixed experiences with service & food. The space is quite pretty. The most consistently great thing in my book that usually keeps us coming back is their soup dumplings. They are made fresh & packed full of the comforting flavor you want from this menu item. Everything else we've gotten has been okay but nothing that really kept us coming back for more. The service also has been highly inconsistent of times where they are present & make us excited to be there & times where we didn't know if we'd ever get service at all. That's the main reason we usually choose takeout when we pick them for a meal.

Great food and service! We were in town for an event, and stop by for dinner. Steam small bun (Xiao Long Bao) were so good, we ordered two of them. We also ordered pan fried dumpling , cold sesame and peanut sauce noodle, and pan fried small bun. All food is very good, I can't believe we (2 people) finished them all without any take home box! Service is great! I would revisit this place next time in town, love the Mr noodle and Ms Xiaolong Bao! Tips for eating Xiaolong Bao here, they are juicy, make sure to do a small bite just to poke the bun skin, so the hot air and temperature can be released. Let them cool a little bit then you can enjoy.

I finally made my way to Mr. Noodle and Ms. Dumpling, and it was worth the wait. I decided to go during lunch hours, so there was no wait at all. Strongly suggest these hours if you're not a huge fan of crowded restaurants. The ambiance of this restaurant is quite lovely. I loved the faux cherry blossoms trees they have placed throughout the dining room & the dark aesthetics. It makes the decor "pop" in a beautiful way. Our waitress was extremely joyful and friendly. Their customer service alone definitely gets a 10/10. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrées, 1 soft drink, and my spouse had 2 beers. Our tab was fairly reasonable. Our total was about $70 bucks, give or take. IMO, that's not bad at all! The food was very fresh with a wonderful flavor profile. I especially enjoyed the appetizers. These were some of the best veggie egg rolls I've ever eaten, super crispy and delicious. The fried dumplings were equally amazing. Our entrées were hands down some of the best and freshest Asian cuisine we have had in this area. I particularly loved that they used chicken breast for their sesame chicken as I am more favorable to that particular cut of meat. Overall, this was a very pleasant dining experience with delicious and fresh food. Their menu is quite extensive with some very unique options. I will definitely return to "eat my way through their menu" My only small gripe (which isn't a huge deal) is that our appetizers and entrées came out at the same time. Personally, I would have preferred they be served with some time in between, but again, that's just my personal preference and definitely not a deal breaker of any sorts.

My wife requested this restaurant as her choice for a Mother's Day dinner (a day early to beat the crowds). We had reservations, but there was plenty of seating available. Walking in, the first thing we noticed was the cumbling cement threshold at the entrance. Once inside, we were promptly seated. The decor is a little strange, with a combination of dark wood, thick rope wrapped around cylindrical wooden pillars, and fake tree branches with plastic pink flowers. Everything seemed clean, and the waiter was pretty attentive. We ordered an appetizer of the pork dumplings, which were okay. My wife ordered chicken with broccoli, our daughter ordered sesame chicken, and I ordered tge orange chicken. All three dinners came with white rice in a small bowl. Portions of food were ample, but arrived moderately warm. My wife had to wait longer for her food to arrive, due to an issue in the kitchen, which made it awkward for others that wanted to eat their food before it got totally cold. The food was okay, but not overly flavorful. For the three of us, it cost $72.00 (including the tip), which wasn't too bad. We will probably go back at some point.

Definitely my new hangout. Food was superb, highly recommend the soup dumplings as an appetizer and grab some hot tea while you're at it. We got the spicy to lotus soup and the Taiwan spicy been noodle soup with dumpling appetizers and an order of seaweed salad. Everything was prepared fresh and service is prompt. Ambience is comfortable. Will definitely be coming back here as the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, portions are plenty and dumplings are very good!

Delicious soup dumplings. A must stop when in the area. Food came out quick, and price for the food is worth it compared to quality.

Must stop spot for hot pot!…read more I have always been a fan of red chili, but I've finally had the chance to do hot pot, and it was amazing. I try not to ever be the person showing up too close to closing time, but we were craving it and made the decision to go there and eat as fast as we could or else order to go to minimize being "those people". Well they were relatively busy for a Monday night, and yet they served us quickly and kindly as usual. We even said we know there's other groups here but we will be as fast as possible and they were very kind and patient with us regardless! As for the food- the lo mein my partner got was of course delicious and reliable. My hot pot was incredible, and with ridiculously generous portions of food. The restaurant as always is clean, pleasant, and of course fun to stop on the way in or out and say hello to the turtles and fishes. Always worth a stop in to this great restaurant!

I did find a person who visited this one and another one, Jianghu Café and so I asked her if I could only visit one, which do I do, and she said Jianhghu was the winner winner Szechuan lunch. I did go there and it was great! But I found myself having one additional dinner time without plans, so I came here as well. Walking in, I noticed what appeared to be a common Asian Massage Parlor next door, yo uget to it via the entry way that bring you here as well. Kinda odd, but it didn't bother me. Walking into this restaurant, it's very nicely laid out and beautifully décor'd! The servers and staff spoke great English and were very helpful, especially when answering questions about their menu. I started with their Garlic Cucumbers, but I asked for them to be spicy and Wow, they did a GREAT job with them! They weren't very hot, but so much spiciness and flavor - I loved them! Next up was to get their cumin chicken. They do cumin style in all their proteins, which makes for some great options. I chose their basic fried rice to come with this. The fried rice and cumin chicken were both amazing... Perfectly spiced and loaded with flavor. There were several Szechuan peppercorns in the dish, which added to the aroma and flavor of the dish. Overall - I really like this dinner! While I do feel Jianghu is slightly better, this is amazing as well!

There was no one else in the restaurant but I didnt think much of it as this is an off time to eat a meal. We were seated with menus, promptly provided with water and a fried noodle snack dish. I asked for a menu in Chinese (Mandarin) as English is my Chinese Wife's second language but was told they did not have one (NP most American-Chinese restaurants do not but is worth asking i.e. The Red Chili restaurant in the same area provides a traditional Chinese menu). As soon as I started to order, the server interrupted me and told me that the cook had left on an errand and would not be back for at least 30 minutes and asked us if we mind waiting; she did offer to make some appetizers herself but there was enough uncertainly to cause us to decline and leave. My wife use to own a restaurant in Changchun (China) she agreed that the first bad decision was advertising they are open with no chef, the second silly decision was to wait so long before telling us. There are a lot of good reviews so might give it a second try at a different time.

Phenomenal food!…read more We're in Syracuse for a conference, and didn't want to spend a fortune for mediocre food at the conference hotel, so we set out to find a good local spot via Yelp. Su Su Dim Sum came up at the top of the list, so off we went. I ordered a small (pint) of hot and sour soup and lamb with scallions. My wife ordered tangerine beef, and then we ordered red bean paste steamed buns to go for breakfast tomorrow. The soup was thick, full of chunks of tofu, plenty of vegetables, a little less peppery and a little less pungent than we like, but still better than typical Chinese restaurant fare. A bowlful of fried noodles came on the side. A great start! My wife, a veterinarian, suspected that the lamb was actually beef, but that question aside, the lamb dish was delicious, with plenty of meat, chunks of bell pepper, and abundant scallions, in a delicious sauce. The star of the night was the tangerine beef, lightly breaded and perfectly fried, in a savory and slightly sour sauce. A few broccoli florets, a handful of tangerine segments, and a wonderful thick sauce completed the dish perfectly. We packed up the leftovers, collected the steamed buns, and headed back to the hotel. We grabbed some menus to give to fellow conference attendees when they ask where we went out to dinner.

The beef was very tender and savory, and I enjoyed the hint of spice in the Mongolian sauce. We all split pork dumplings and egg rolls, which were very good. Overall a great experience and I would def order from here again!

It is a HUGE place, but it was lightly visited while we were there at 5pm on a Thursday. There were ~5 islands of hot food, 1 of cold w salads, a sushi area, an icecream novelty case, 4-6 soups. There was a Hibatchi area in back corner but I didn't try it. There were many types of breaded, fried, sauced chicken...all a bit dried out. The coconut shrimp was a little dried out. The green beans were tasty but limp. The rice noodles were a bit plain. I did not try the fish nor roast beef. BF said the pork was dry but good. But the SHELLFISH was really exceptional. Clams of different sizes, muscles in sauce, cold shrimp, hot shrimp, shrimp boil. My BF was like a bear in honey! Everything was clean but the place smelled oddly of petroleum? This place opens late! For delivery, you have to order at least $10 worth of food. I got a Malaysian ho fun noodles (flat spicy noodles is what they are advertised as), hot and sour soup and a vitamin water. The ho fun noodles are absolutely up my alley. These are the types of noodles I tend to crave. They are like chow fun noodles except much wider. I love this type of noodle so much and am so happy I found a place that serves them. The noodles aren't super spicy. The food came super hot and came with a free fortune cookie and a bag of fried wonton strips (I am guessing for the soup). The soup tastes slightly different than some hot and sour soups I've had but it is very yummy still. I also tried the garlic chicken and kung pao beef. I liked that you could choose which size you wanted for the chicken (pint vs. quart). Finally, people can order different portion sizes for Chinese take-out! They both come with rice. Their menu is huge and includes American, Thaï, Malaysian, Chinese, and Japanese foods. Foods included burgers, kim chi, fried rices, hibachi, noodles, soups, salads, tofu dishes, diet menu (less fried stuff, more steamed stuff) and desserts like almond or fortune cookies. They deliver on GrubHub. I'll likely order from them again. Delivery took 18 minutes (both times I ordered) which was much faster than their estimated 40-50 minutes. The driver was friendly and had a smile. He called upon arriving and said he was at the lobby (when really he was in his car outside in the parking lot in front of the lobby). Nevertheless, he pulled up just at the right time as I stepped out the door. The outside of the noodle box was greasy but I guess lots of Chinese take-out tends to be overall greasy. My vitamin water came cold which was nice. They cook their food without MSG. They also do catering and party trays. Delivery was $1.25 and the order was under $14. Most delivery spots in Syracuse are $2.99. I was sick and really wanted congee. I ordered the rice chicken soup thinking it was congee but it wasn't. It didn't have the ginger flavor that congee often has and the rice was more loose than mushy. I also tried the wonton soup. The broth was fine but the wontons itself weren't the best. I ordered a tofu salad with miso dressing and thought it was really big for the price. Overall, the food is very affordable and will satisfy your Chinese hankering.
