I contacted Mr. Garage Coating about two weeks ago and originally couldn't get a date until the 30th. I booked the appointment, but asked that they notify me if an earlier date came up. To my delight, they were able to fit me in three days sooner! Today they showed up and got right to work. (The work crew had gotten stuck in traffic but I got several phone updates letting me know how far out they were.) My garage is small less than 200sf and they finished the job in about four hours. Pablo explained the details of the job, where he was going to patch the existing concrete, and afterwards explained how to care for the flooring. I wanted to do an epoxy floor in my garage. Pablo and his assistant were the most honest of anyone I have dealt with. I had cracks in my floor and Pablo looked at it and said, you really need to look under the cement slab and I think you need to get the roots that are underneath out. He was right. I have attached a photo. I decided to hire someone to cut the garage floor and we found many huge tree roots that had lifted the garage floor to a point that it cracked right down the middle and to the sides. So, we got rid of the roots and poured a new cement floor. I hope to have Pablo come back and do the epozy floor after it cures for 30 days. read more

I love my new floors! Pablo just finished a 2nd job in my home and I am so happy with the beautiful shiny results. This time he did a hallway and two bedrooms in a solid color epoxy, it reminds me of gorgeous terrazzo. The last time he did vinyl chips epoxy in a guest bed room, which looks even more like speckled terrazzo but is much less smooth but also less slippery. He also repaired a big crack and unevenness in the concrete slab in the guest room, it now looks perfectly flat, really amazing work! He and his team are very professional, on time, and nice! I foster puppies, kittens, cats, or little senior dogs (a rotating menagerie!) and needed a very durable surface that I could disinfect and clean up easily after dog and cat messes. The vinyl chips turned out a little bit rougher than ideal for my unusual use, so a bit hard to get poopy messes out of the tiny crevices without a lot of cleaner and paper towels. Pablo offered to do another sanding and add another clear layer to the top for a very reasonable charge, which I will likely do once puppy/kitten season is over and that room is empty again. One thing to keep in mind is the sanding is noisy and makes a lot of dust, and the epoxy has an extremely strong smell while they are applying it and for many days afterwards. I expect this is why most people only use it in their garage. However, for me and my needs, sealing the rooms off and running fans and air filters 24/7 for a couple days kept it contained and got it back to barely noticeable very quickly. Obviously I highly recommend Mr Garage Coating! Next up... my garage! read more

I am turning my garage into a photo studio and the floor had horrible cracks, uneven concrete and stains that looked really bad. I wanted a solution that would impress clients and that also look good in photos so I chose to go with lava flow in antique silver. Pablo and his assistant made the cracks and stains disappear. The lava flow effect tends to bubble and in some of the spots I could see the primer which was a concern of mine since they were in areas that they would show in photos that I would take of clients. Unfortunately I did not see this before he sealed it since I was scared to walk on the floor being unsure if it was dry before he sealed it. Thankfully Pablo came back and touched up the spots after it was sealed and then came back again to reseal the floor. Pablo is very kind, trustworthy and wants to give his customers the best service possible. I used to have a mid-century house and I wish lava flow was around then. Just had our garage recoated and the entire experience was very easy, from communicating through email to getting the bid and scheduling the job to the actual day of the job. It took about 8 hours to complete our 600 sq ft garage, it's another 72 hours before you can move anything back into the garage. Pablo was great about informing us of potential cracking that can occur based on existing issues we have with our garage floor.
