Rescued me! I had hired someone off Thumbtack and made sure they knew that I needed it in two days. The space was 240 sq ft and empty except for a washer and dryer. I bought the flooring based on their measurements. Thursday morning a guy shows up and I swear he acted like he was on meth. Then told me that he couldn't finish it in two days. I called it off. I found Mor, being the first one listed on a floor installation search, smart calling himself "Affordable". He gave me a quote over the phone which was lower than the first and came by in the afternoon. Obviously knew what he was doing. Told me I needed two extra boxes of flooring! Because they have waste when the cut pieces to fit, so obvious that I couldn't believe I was told differently. Not only did the job get finished in less than 3 days, his person had it done in a day! Less than 8 hours! It looks amazing. I had wanted to redo my floors for a while now and finally took the leap. I had cherrywood hardwood laminate and wanted to brighten the room with a lighter color using luxury vinyl planks. I looked at several local flooring shops for the perfect color and ended up finding something I really liked at Home Depot. Home Depot gave me a quote for installation but it seemed high and the start date was 3 weeks out. That's when I found Affordable Floor Installation (AFI) on Yelp. Mor and his team went above and beyond to repair two significant dents/bubbles in my bamboo floor when others would've told me it was a lost cause and I needed all new floors. What was supposed to be a 30 min job (remove the molding, give the bamboo planks more room to expand) turned into a several hour project when they discovered that the floors were not installed correctly. Using precise skill and care, they sliced between the planks to remove nails, not harming any of the bamboo, and fixed the issue. I was searching for a flooring installer and found Mor through the great yelp reviews, he responded quickly and he met with me a few days after I first contacted him. He went through the different flooring options and it was nice that he had the samples with him so that I can see what it would look like with the wall paint. I initially was only going to do the bedrooms but decided to do most of our floors so there would be no transitions. He said it would be done in 5 days but his team finished in 3 days. After a few months I had an issue with one of the planks moving so he had his team fix it.
