Out of all the Flooring Specialists I've spoken too in the South bay, these guys delivered. They repaired a section of damaged floor, by re-using some of the older planks I kept from the previous job. It looks exactly like the way it did before it was torn up. A repair job well done! Decades Flooring also reinstalled the hallway and second bedroom flooring that was comprised of laminate and underlayment. The end result was terrific, sturdy, and looked fantastic. The overall General Assessment was fair, on-time, and very knowledgeable. Now that the job is finished, it goes without saying, these guys know exactly what they're doing. They fixed everything! After speaking to different hard wood floor refinishers, I decided to go with Decades Flooring and I am so happy I went with them. They were super responsive (quick!) to my initial outreach, on time for the initial evaluation appointment and very quick to turnaround and send me the estimate for the job. After meeting with two other refinishers, Decades was the only team that could 100% commit to a specific window to refinish my 70- year old hard wood oak floors (I had a very tight window). Not only did Decades start on the hoped-for day, they also were able to complete the final coat of varnish by the end of the third day (one day sooner than promised). What's better than that? Desiree and Jay were terrific to work with. We installed approx. 1200 SF of vinyl plank flooring in an accessory building we use as a game/hobby room. Got several bids, their price was reasonable and we decided to go with them. We ordered the floor ourselves and had it dropped shipped to our home. There were shipping problems, so we had to re-schedule a couple of times. Desiree was very accommodating and the install went very well, the crew was terrific: polite, competent, clean and quick. There were a couple of "tune-up issues" where we needed them back to adjust a couple of items...no problem. Desiree was great to work with on scheduling and Jay was on it.
